________ Walking with Love Part Fifty-Two

Summer rain links the river, wind, furious waves, astonishing waves, shocking surf, heaven and earth changed countenance. That yesterday's wind, yesterday's rain, early followed the furious waves away. Night still, empty mountain; above the azure sky, moon bright, stars sparse. That moon, pure white like jade; that star, like gold glittering......................

Forest flowers have withered. Spring, long gone. Under the moonlight, tobacco grass holds green. Mountains lush, waters distant, road vast, looking northwest, empty sorrow. The moon speaks not, the star speaks not, the mountain also speaks not, the water also speaks not. They, because of yesterday's events, cannot bear to look back, cannot bear to look back……………………………

Empty mountain, cold moon. Beneath the mountain, a river of clear water, rolling eastward. Mountains long, waters far, azure waves ten thousand li. Cannot gaze to the end of eight thousand li road of clouds and moon, cannot see the end of three thousand li road of mountains and waters. At the place of ascent, my thoughts drift like river water…………………………..

When the waning moon is at the window, the sky nears dawn, the green birds on the branches again chirp wildly, that tenderness, that clear song, half given to the flowing water, half given to the green mountains. That given to the water drifts with the waves; that given to the mountains accompanies the clouds coming and going. Such order, in the human world, is not unusual………………………..

Jiangnan and Jiangbei, the cuckoo's cry, this bird, under heaven and earth, is said to cry the most bitterly. I do not know why, for what reason? In which deep forest, in which remote mountain gorge, why does it always cry blood?

After several rounds of wind and rain, in the damp red places, countless flowers fall, and countless flowers bloom again. No need to doubt, after wind and rain, the world still is dominated by spring. Especially in Jiangnan. But I hate that flowing water, which carries away many good moments of spring flowers and autumn moons. I dare ask, about the flower's opening and falling, I wish to ask the blood‑crying cuckoo: what happens in Xishu over there, causing many worries!

Many……………………………………………………………………

This concern will accompany me for a very long time, even eternity of life. This is my tiny life, deep within the heart, selfless love. But if this love is only expressed in words, it will appear pale and powerless. Everyone has their own way of expressing love. But no matter the way, in short, to love others as oneself is not merely to love in words; one must also express it in one's own special way.

Love, express it in one's own great way……………………

I originally thought I would write love's words with love's colors, but it sank deep and buried in my heart, and my tears are pale and colorless......

If my verses have no color, friend, can you understand?...........

I thought I would write love's words with love's heart‑tide, but it swirls within my heart, and my eyes are silently still.

Friend, if I say nothing about my country's disaster, how cold‑blooded and incomprehensible that would be!

Great love is soundless, great love is boundless, great love needs no fanfare. I hide my love for the disaster‑area people in my heart! In the disaster area, brothers and sisters suffering, there is someone unknown, silently loving you in the dark, cheering you on! Add love!

Great love is soundless, great love is boundless…………………………………………….

In life there is an eternal unchanging theme: that is, mutual love between people!

Life's theme is mutual love…………………………………………….

(Heart tied to the disaster area, emotion tied to the disaster area: may peace, courage, confidence, strength accompany and be with the disaster‑area people!)
