Chapter 785: Love a person
Love a person
May 8: Love a person
Kongzi once said to his disciples, "To love a person, can one not encourage him to be diligent? To treat a person sincerely, can one not teach him principles?"
According to Kongzi's saying: love is diligence; love is teaching him principles?
When I woke up in the morning, I told the little bird on the branch: "Your song coming from the green leaves, does it also remind those still asleep: Wake up quickly, the sun has risen, let us fill with joy and confidence, under the sun's radiance, sing for the world, bless the world!"
Under Kongzi's hint, in the morning birds' singing, ah, love, I again understand another layer of its meaning: to learn diligence and to comprehend truth.
Who said: "True water has no fragrance, true love has no words; sincerity is natural, true feeling leaves no trace."
True love is like water: knotted, gentle, sweet, tranquil; it only knows to nourish, forever remaining in a low position, silently contributing, not ostentatious, respecting others, not counting others' wrongs, not seeking fame or profit; in all things believe, in all things endure, in all things tolerate, meet with sincerity, never cease, forever strive.
This, is that the meaning of love that Kongzi spoke of?
But some also say: "Love has many forms: sometimes it is wisdom, sometimes justice, sometimes hope. Accompanying love, creation, and responsibility's pain is a pleasurable pain."
Thus said, love also has times of foolishness and injustice; the love one wishes for in one's heart, the love one wants, yet can never obtain—is that love for responsibility? Some say love for responsibility is always painful love.
