In that case, we will regret our earlier efforts: Why spend so much energy to come to such a faraway place? Isn't the scenery nearby also nice?

Xiren, this maid, is very clever. Her cleverness lies in her ability to handle the trifling matters around her—that is serving people well. She understands: no matter big or small, as long as there is something to do, that's enough. Having something to do, doing it well, can manifest the meaning of life, the value of life. Having something to do brings joy; not doing it brings dejection. Even if it is serving people. She knows that doing things trains a person; not doing things yields no training. To be a good person, one must first do good deeds. A good person is revealed through good deeds.
