Chapter 504

The blade fell, and the female mage's pupils contracted to the size of needle points. At this moment, she didn't have time to release chanting-type skills and could only rely on instant-cast skills to counterattack.

The female fire mage was a second-tier Some Qiyuezhe and hadn't been approached by an enemy for the first time. In the past, she had encountered such dangerous situations, but for some reason, this time she had a hair-raising feeling, as if she had encountered a natural enemy!

"Explosive Flame."

The female fire mage shouted, and fire elements rapidly gathered and compressed around her, eventually bursting.

Boom!

A powerful thrust spread to the surroundings. Although the spectator seats had a protective film to block it, the workers in the front row subconsciously stood up.

That flame seemed to explode right in front of their eyes. This stimulating feeling was one of the reasons they spent Paradise Coins to watch the competition.

The female mage in the flames breathed a sigh of relief, her long hair fluttering, looking heroic.

"This guy is a bit wrong."

The female fire mage immediately prepared the next skill. Just at this moment, a palm wrapped in metal broke through the flames.

"This is impossible!"

The female fire mage subconsciously jumped backward. Her enemy-repelling skill had never failed before.

The metal palm pinched the female fire mage's neck. Just for a moment, the female fire mage felt her neck was about to be pinched off.

"Flame Shelter."

A layer of shield generated around the female fire mage, and Su Xiao's hand was bounced off the shield. This shield was the female fire mage's signature move.

Panting a few times, a long staff flipped in the female fire mage's hand. She prepared to use her ultimate move, otherwise, there would be no chance.

Woo~

A whistling sound came. The female fire mage knew this was the enemy's sharp blade slashing over. She didn't care; her shield didn't know how many times it had blocked the enemy's attacks.

Clang!

A pale blue blade light flew out diagonally and shattered against the protective cover in front of the spectator seats.

The arena was strangely quiet. The female fire mage didn't release any more skills.

The flames subsided. After seeing the scene on the field, a large group of spectators stood up.

"That's it?"

"No way."

On the field.

The female fire mage fell to the ground, one arm and half of her body were slashed off, and that flame shield was like a broken eggshell, slashed open neatly, and was now floating away slowly.

The female fire mage struggled to stand up, her lips trembling, as if she had forgotten she was in the Arena. That slash just now was too terrifying, making her mistakenly think she was in a Derived World.

A few seconds later, the female fire mage realized she was in the Arena and wouldn't die.

With a helpless bitter smile, the female fire mage remembered Su Xiao's blade and the blood-colored mask on his face.

"+10 weapon lives up to its reputation. I admit defeat."

The female fire mage took the initiative to surrender. Su Xiao didn't have the habit of abusing enemies, so he simply accepted the surrender.

Whoosh~

A tidal wave of admiration came from the spectator seats.

"The one with the blade, well done."

Possibly having bet on Su Xiao to win, a golden female Some Qiyuezhe pulled up the clothes in front of her chest, and whistling sounds rose around.

Dancing a blade flower, Su Xiao was very satisfied with the current Checking Zhan Long Shan. The full 17-point sharpness bonus made Checking Zhan Long Shan exceptionally sharp.

The most important thing about a blade is that it is sharp enough; attached abilities are secondary. At least that's what Su Xiao thought.

The opponent surrendered, the competition ended, and Su Xiao was teleported back to the rest chamber.

【Individual Battle has ended, Victory!】

【Hunter ranking improved, from 49,506th to 49,307th (Second-tier).】

The ranking improved by about two hundred places. It seemed the opponent's ranking wasn't high.

To quickly improve ranking, the best method was consecutive victories. Once consecutive victories exceeded ten times, the ranking would grow in a leap-frog manner.

Su Xiao was very interested in the rewards for the top 10 in the second tier, but he didn't think he could reach the top 10 in the near future. The saying 'there is always someone better' was very applicable in Reincarnation Paradise.

He hadn't had a single defeat in the Arena. He longed to be matched with an opponent strong enough to defeat him; that was a good thing.

Su Xiao participated in the Arena not just for the top 10 rewards; participating in the Arena was more importantly to hone combat skills.

Choosing to continue matching, in less than ten seconds, Su Xiao was matched with his second opponent.

It was still the traditional-looking Arena. As long as Su Xiao and the matched opponent didn't choose actively, the arena platform was the default venue.

The opponent Su Xiao was matched with was still a woman, and a long-legged great beauty, holding a leather whip in her hand and wearing high heels.

Snap.

The thin leather whip lashed the air, making a crisp sound.

Just as Su Xiao was preparing to rush forward to quickly solve the enemy, one of the enemy's actions made him stop rushing forward.

A snow wolf appeared out of thin air, and not just the snow wolf; a three-meter-tall grizzly bear and a five-meter-long crocodile appeared one after another.

In less than a few seconds, dozens of wild beasts surrounded the long-legged leather-pants beauty. The combination of beauty and beast appeared.

This was a Summoner, a very rare profession. Su Xiao wanted to understand the Summoner's combat style.

Looking at Checking Zhan Long Shan in his hand, Su Xiao hesitated for a moment, sheathed Checking Zhan Long Shan, and approached the female Summoner empty-handed.

"What do you mean?"

The female Summoner looked displeased. Putting away her weapon clearly meant looking down on her.

"Nothing, just afraid that I might accidentally kill you."

Hearing Su Xiao's words, the female Summoner looked angry, but a moment later she laughed, seemingly angered by Su Xiao.

But she didn't know that Su Xiao was telling the truth. Because second-tier Contractors were stronger, Su Xiao had used his full strength before, and the female fire mage had been slashed in two by him.

This situation wasn't strange. Although second-tier Contractors were strong, Su Xiao had become much stronger recently, and he was a Shadow of the Law Destroyer. With one slash, mages without strong pain tolerance would lose their combat ability.

Moreover, his ranking was around 50,000 now. If he couldn't easily solve Contractors of this ranking, then he would definitely die when facing second-tier Rule-Breakers.

Su Xiao rushed forward, empty-handed!

The female Summoner waved the leather whip in her hand.

"Children, tear him apart."

A large group of wild beasts rushed toward Su Xiao. A confident smile appeared on the female Summoner's face. As long as she had time to summon, her summoned objects would appear endlessly, so she was sure to win this match.

Five minutes later.

Bang.

The female Summoner fell to the ground, surrounded by wild beasts that were seriously injured or turned into light spots after death.

"What... what exactly do you want?"

The female Summoner was no longer resisting, lying on the ground motionless.

"No other abilities? Only effects like berserk and acceleration for wild beasts."

Su Xiao squatted in front of the female Summoner.

"None. Accept the surrender; I've already surrendered five times, and many people are watching. Can you give me some face?"

The female Summoner faced down, seemingly having no face to see anyone, not because she was beaten up by Su Xiao—that wasn't shameful—but because she remembered her confident smile before.

"Still thought you could summon a big guy. Forget it."

Two consecutive victories.

A line of pale golden large characters floated up.

After Su Xiao accepted the surrender, he disappeared from the arena platform. In the spectator seats were a large group of dumbfounded workers. This kind of situation of being beaten up wasn't common.

【Individual Battle has ended, Victory, two consecutive victories!】

【Hunter ranking improved, from 49,307th to 45,001st (Second-tier).】

The benefits of consecutive victories appeared. It was only two consecutive victories, and Su Xiao's ranking improved by over four thousand places.
