Chapter 240: Du Wenlong's Spring

After a full meal, Lu Fan's strength gradually recovered.

After the brothers left, Lu Fan dialed the phone of County Chief Bian Jide.

"Lu Fan, you have to have a conscience. You're back and didn't even say hello?" After it was connected, Bian Jide said angrily!

"County Chief, it's my fault. I apologize, a thousand apologies! Secretary Mingzhou talked to me last night, and I thought about it all night, forgetting to report to you that I was safe. I will make a self-criticism!"

"Forget it, I won't argue with you! It's better than anything that you can come back!"

"County Chief, I will keep everything you did for me in my heart for the rest of my life!"

"Don't talk about this. Since you're back, when do you plan to go to work?"

"County Chief, I guess I can't go back. Secretary Mingzhou clearly told me last night that he would adjust my work position!"

"Ah? Didn't say where to adjust?"

"I didn't dare to ask, I can only wait and see."

"Sigh, people nowadays are afraid that the world won't be in chaos. There have been all sorts of talk in the county these past few days. It's good to change the environment! I guess you've been tortured enough these past few days, so just rest and recuperate at home and get ready to go!"

"County Chief, no matter where I go, I am your soldier! As long as you say a word, I have no second words!"

"Why be so polite with me? Alright, let's not talk about it. Call me if you need any help!"

After hanging up the phone, Lu Fan's fatigue came again, and he fell asleep.

Ordinary people can't stand it the next day after playing mahjong all night. Lu Fan was tortured for several days, so he had to rest well for a few days to recover his vitality.

Just like that, Lu Fan didn't go out of the door and rested at home for two full days.

On November 14, the Yingjiang Municipal Discipline Inspection Committee ushered in a major adjustment. The Municipal Discipline Inspection Committee Secretary was transferred back to the Provincial Discipline Inspection Committee, and the new Municipal Discipline Inspection Committee Secretary was Wu Xiaohua. His other identity was the secretary of the former Provincial Party Committee Secretary of Qinchuan, and he also served the current Provincial Party Committee Secretary for a short time.

The first thing Wu Xiaohua did after taking office was to "close the case" for Lu Fan!

The announcement stated: Petition reporting is an important source for discipline inspection and supervision organs to obtain information and case clues, an important channel for the public to supervise Party members and cadres, and an important form for the masses to participate in the construction of Party conduct and clean government and anti-corruption work. It plays a decisive role in comprehensively governing the Party strictly and correcting conduct and fighting corruption.

After a detailed investigation by the Municipal Discipline Inspection Committee, the report about Ningyang County Deputy County Chief Lu Fan was malicious reporting by someone with ulterior motives, fabricating the disciplinary and legal violations of Comrade Lu Fan by means of creating something out of nothing, framing, distorting facts, and making a fuss! This "fishing in troubled waters" behavior not only infringed on Comrade Lu Fan's personal rights, but also damaged Comrade Lu Fan's reputation, and even disrupted the classification and disposal of problem clues by discipline inspection and supervision organs, seriously disrupting the normal order of petition reporting.

For the deliberate false accusation and framing of others' misconduct and lawbreakers, the Municipal Discipline Inspection Committee resolutely "draws the sword" and must never be soft-hearted, so that people with ulterior motives will be severely punished.

After reading the draft of the announcement prepared by the Municipal Discipline Inspection Committee, Secretary Li Mingzhou instructed to take it to the Provincial Discipline Inspection Committee, have them stamp it, and have the provincial and municipal discipline inspection committees issue the announcement together!

The implication is that if you do something wrong, you must admit it, and if you are beaten, you must stand straight!

After work, Wu Xiaohua dialed Lu Fan's phone and laughed, "Comrade Lu Fan, you promised to treat me to dinner, where are you?"

Lu Fan lay on the bed and said, "Brother Wu, are you collecting debts? I'll make a special trip to Chang'an in a few days, okay?"

"I'm hungry now, what should I do?"

Lu Fan felt that he had strength, so he said, "Okay, as long as you can wait, I'll set off now!"

"Haha, come to Yingjiang, take me to eat something special!"

"Brother Wu, you came to Yingjiang? Why didn't you say so earlier? You wait, I'll set off immediately!"

After getting up, Lu Fan felt that he should drink some wine to entertain Wu Xiaohua today, so he went upstairs to call Du Wenlong and asked him to be the driver.

After setting off, Du Wenlong asked, "Brother Fan, who are we entertaining today? Do I need to drink?"

"It depends. A friend from the province came to Yingjiang and just called me. Oh, his name is Wu Xiaohua, a section chief in the Provincial Party Committee Office, and he is my sworn brother. Be smart when you go."

Unexpectedly, Du Wenlong looked at Lu Fan blankly, his face full of disbelief!

"Wenlong, look ahead, pay attention to driving!"

"Brother Fan, you've slept too long! Secretary Wu is now our boss. He came to Yingjiang to be the Municipal Discipline Inspection Committee Secretary!"

Hearing this news, it was Lu Fan's turn to be uneasy, and he exclaimed, "What? Brother Wu came to Yingjiang to take office? My goodness, no wonder he has been mysterious these past few days! Wenlong, why didn't you tell me earlier!"

"I thought you already knew. Besides, you've been eating and sleeping for the past two days, so I didn't bother you."

Lu Fan said happily, "This is definitely good news! Damn it, now we have a 'protective umbrella'!"

Du Wenlong was also very excited and said happily, "Brother Fan, after this disaster, you will definitely turn bad luck into good luck! I believe that evil cannot prevail over good!"

However, Lu Fan shook his head disapprovingly and said slowly, "Wenlong, where is there any so-called evil cannot prevail over good? That's just self-comfort! The winner is righteous, the loser is evil, righteous because of winning, not evil cannot prevail over good! When you have enough strength, you can call a deer a horse! So, if you want to have a say, working hard to improve your strength is the only way!"

Du Wenlong nodded thoughtfully, his eyes becoming more determined!

Arriving in Yingjiang, Wu Xiaohua was strolling at the gate of the Municipal Party Committee compound. Seeing Lu Fan waving at him, he immediately got into the car.

"Brother Wu, Secretary Wu! Too ungrateful, coming to Yingjiang to take office, such a big thing, didn't reveal a word to me? Afraid I'd ask you to do something?"

Wu Xiaohua laughed, "Do I dare to make such a big deal out of this? Besides, I've already hinted to you, it's just that you're stupid!"

"Okay, okay, my brain hasn't been working well these past two days, didn't savor your words. Brother Wu, let me introduce you, this is my childhood friend, Du Wenlong, working in the Ningyang Municipal Discipline Inspection Committee, he is your soldier!"

Du Wenlong greeted quickly, "Hello Secretary Wu!"

"Ningyang Discipline Inspection Committee? What position?"

Lu Fan answered first, "He's about to be promoted to Zhengke level, the five-person group meeting has already passed."

Wu Xiaohua nodded and said, "Xiao Fan, I didn't eat lunch this afternoon, I've been saving my stomach waiting for you to treat me!"

"What to eat? A big meal or snacks?"

"When in Rome, do as the Romans do. Let's have some special snacks."

"Okay, Wenlong, go to Erdao Street!"

Erdao Street Night Market, facing the towering pagoda and relying on the rolling Ying River, is a place that many citizens and tourists must check in, and it is also a beautiful business card of Yingjiang's food culture.

Even in the cold winter, the surging crowd plus the steaming delicious food has achieved the city's "fireworks".

"Li Laoer sheep trotters, roasted lamb skewers, potato shreds, Heza noodles, sheep offal, fried shrimp tails, fried rice and fried noodles... Brother Wu, what do you want?"

Wu Xiaohua laughed, "If I knew what to eat, why would I call you here?"

Lu Fan took Wu Xiaohua to the stall of Li Laoer sheep trotters and shouted, "Boss, bring 6 sheep trotters, make them soft!" Then he went to the next door to ask for 6 lamb skewers, three bowls of Heza noodles, a portion of spicy liver bowl support, a portion of Jiaotuan, and a portion of fried potato shreds.

Before long, the special snacks in front of the three were full, making people's appetite wide open.

Wu Xiaohua praised while eating, "Not bad, not bad, the taste is very good! It's just a little spicy."

Hearing this, Du Wenlong hurried to buy milk tea nearby.

Wu Xiaohua whispered, "Xiao Fan, how is this brother of yours? How is his ability?"

"Brother Wu wants to use him? In terms of ability, he is the backbone of the Ningyang Discipline Inspection Committee. He has handled many cases, and his business is impeccable. In terms of character, I don't think there are any problems. He is steady, speaks little, has a flexible mind, and is absolutely trustworthy!"

"Well, I think he's not bad either. Let him come to the Municipal Discipline Inspection Committee. I'm short of trustworthy people now!"

Lu Fangu said happily, "Brother Wu can look up to him, it's Wenlong's good fortune! I thank you for him!"

"We brothers don't need to say this. I plan to go to the Provincial Discipline Inspection Committee tomorrow to 'rehabilitate' you. Secretary Mingzhou personally ordered it, saying that they must 'sign and draw a picture'. After the procedures are fulfilled, I will send someone to Ningyang to restore your reputation."

Lu Fan shook his head and said, "I don't think it's necessary. Just send a notice to the Ningyang Discipline Inspection Committee directly. If it's done with great fanfare, it will cause people to talk, and it will be like covering up. People nowadays are afraid that the world won't be in chaos. It's best to handle this kind of thing coldly."

"Okay, I'll discuss it with Secretary Mingzhou again. When do you plan to go to work?"

"Wait for the notice, I guess I will adjust my position."

Wu Xiaohua gave a wink and asked, "Do you want me to talk to the Secretary and ask for you to come to the Discipline Inspection Committee?"

Shaking his head, Lu Fan said, "You just stay in the Discipline Inspection Committee, and I will cheer for you in other places. I'd better honestly obey the organization's arrangements."

Before long, Du Wenlong came back with a few hot drinks. Unexpectedly, Wu Xiaohua said directly, "Wenlong, come to the Municipal Discipline Inspection Committee to help me!"

Du Wenlong didn't react, his brain was a bit stuck.

Lu Fan laughed, "Why are you stupidly stunned, Secretary Wu is asking you!"

Du Wenlong said quickly, "Secretary Wu can look up to me, it's my honor! As long as the Secretary says a word, I will do whatever you want!"

"Okay, you go back tomorrow to hand over, and come to the Municipal Discipline Inspection Committee to work in the afternoon. I will say hello to the Ningyang County Committee and the County Discipline Inspection Committee!"

Look at how domineering this is, making Lu Fan envious!

Unexpectedly, after being a driver once, he is going to work in the Municipal Discipline Inspection Committee?

Du Wenlong felt like he was in the clouds. There were several people in the unit who wanted to go to the Municipal Discipline Inspection Committee, and some who had been seconded for several years were sent back. Such a big thing was achieved so easily by himself?

After filling their stomachs, the two sent Wu Xiaohua to the hotel and returned to Ningyang.

On the way, Du Wenlong sighed, "Brother Fan, actually I still have work on hand that hasn't been finished!"

Lu Fan said, "The earth turns without anyone. The opportunity is rare. Report to the Municipal Discipline Inspection Committee on time tomorrow afternoon. Wenlong, the Zhengke level will definitely be solved for you. Work hard, learn from Secretary Xiaobin, and strive to make a name for yourself in the future!"

"Brother Fan, don't worry, I will definitely live like a person!" ===== CHAPTER 241 =====
