The sixth island is called Lucky Island.

This island is interesting—the entire island is divided into several zones, each with its own kind of entertainment activity.

The moment the two of them arrived at the town's harbor, they happened to catch the start of the event, so they signed up to take part.

After signing up, each person received a dedicated Poké Ball.

"Head east from the harbor and you'll reach the Water Walk—lots of Magikarp live inside it. This stage is judged by weight: whoever catches the biggest, heaviest Magikarp wins!"

"The end of the Water Walk is both the finish line and the starting point—several more stages of challenges are waiting for you beyond it."

"You may choose one Pokémon to assist you; once decided, no switching is allowed midway."

"All right, make your choice—you can begin once you've registered!"

Not many classmates took part this time, only a few dozen people, each one pondering which Pokémon would be the better pick.

According to the guidebook's introduction, besides the Water Walk there is also a Green Walk, and beyond that several more zones such as Forest Caverns—in other words, multiple types are covered.

So the assisting Pokémon has to be chosen with great care.
