Chapter 369: The Situation Is Likely Not Optimistic

~6 min read 1,125 words

In the depths of the Universe, on a meteor that follows a fixed orbit around this world, the dead silence was quietly broken, and a dense figure slowly opened its eyes.

It was a body entirely black, shining with a cold, jade‑like luster, its crimson eyes sharp as blades, a ring of circulating golden light encircling its waist, the glow gentle yet bearing an inviolable majesty.

That figure was A Er Zhou Si, who not long ago slew the Rift Sky Throne!

On its black body, a few shallow scars now clearly appeared, crisscrossing, evidently the marks left from the battle with the Rift Sky Throne.

But those wounds were not deep, not harming its core; instead they added a few more fierce auras.

At this moment, A Er Zhou Si's gaze settled steadily on the world below, eyes deep as an ancient well, piercing through layers of clouds, directly locking onto the two ancient shrines deep in the Tian Guan Mountain Foothills.

The instant its gaze fell, a faint halo suddenly rose above the two shrines eroded by time.

Two vague figures slowly materialized, initially ethereal and indistinct, but as the halo grew brighter, the forms solidified, and alternating roars rang out, echoing through the entire Mi Lin Shen Chu, shaking the leaves into rustling.

A Er Zhou Si slowly moved, pacing toward the world below with a steady gait.

Behind it, countless Parallel Worlds similar to the one before its eyes slowly rotated, light and shadow interweaving, flowing endlessly, like a vast galaxy of worlds, fully displaying its supreme might.

Above the Chunbai Dongtu, Huo La, while gazing at the TianQiong, suddenly heard a faint, almost imperceptible roar at his ear; the sound was distant yet carried an ancient authority, causing his complexion to change instantly and his brows to knit sharply.

At the same time, across the entire Galar Land, within the heart‑pounding Space-time Rift in the TianQiong, a half‑exposed black wing suddenly retracted swiftly, followed by a roar that shook heaven and earth, echoing through every corner of Galar, bearing extreme ferocity and rage, causing the ground itself to tremble slightly.

"Kira Dinah is very angry," Dai Ou Qi Xi Si's voice rang in Huo La's mind, its tone carrying a few unmistakable notes of confusion, even tinged with a barely perceptible fear.

Even it could feel the terrifying power contained in that roar.

Huo La's hand hanging at his side tightened slightly, he pondered briefly, and in a weighty tone asked, "What happened?"

Deep in his heart, a strong sense of foreboding quietly spread, unsettling his thoughts.

"Two powerful auras over there suddenly awakened; it is those two auras that provoked Kira Dinah's fury," Dai Ou Qi Xi Si's voice remained weighty, without any superfluous elaboration.

Although Dai Ou Qi Xi Si did not specify exactly where "there" was, Huo La instantly understood; he knew the direction Dai Ou Qi Xi Si referred to — the depths of the Tian Guan Mountain Foothills.

For two auras capable of appearing in the Tian Guan Mountain Foothills and simultaneously inciting Kira Dinah's such wrath... a thought flashed through Huo La's mind, his complexion growing darker, his tone firm and urgent: "It is the Time-Space Dual Gods!"

Dai Ou Qi Xi Si said nothing further; his silence was the best response, clearly acknowledging Huo La's judgment.

He no longer hesitated at all, immediately turned and ran toward the house; moments later he grabbed his pack and hurried out of the room, evidently ready to depart at once.

At this moment, Ming Yao, Xiao Zhao, Shan Kui, and Binlian also hurried out of their rooms, each bearing a hint of solemnity; clearly they had all heard the roar that had echoed across Galar, and their hearts were filled with doubt and unease.

Seeing Huo La already prepared to set out, the few quickly gathered around him.

Binlian spoke first, his tone urgent and worried: "Huo La, what happened? What was that roar just now?"

Huo La raised his hand and pointed toward the Tian Guan Mountain Foothills, his tone so weighty it held no ripple: "Dai Ou Qi Xi Si sensed that two powerful forces suddenly awakened there; I suspect the Time-Space Dual Gods have awakened!"

He added, pointing again at the still snarling Space-time Rift in the TianQiong, "Across the entire Galar Land, only the awakening of the Time-Space Dual Gods could provoke Kira Dinah's such intense anger."

Listening to Huo La's words, Ming Yao, Xiao Zhao, and the others showed only shock on their faces, no other expression.

Huo La had no time to let them linger in shock; after a brief thought, he quickly ordered, "I intend to go to the Tian Guan Mountain Foothills right now to check the situation."

He looked at Shan Kui and Binlian, his tone solemn: "Shan Kui, Field Master, Binlian, Field Master, you'd better immediately notify Captain Gangshi and Captain Zhu Bei, and have them bring men to rush to the Tian Guan Mountain Foothills; the situation is likely not optimistic."

Then he turned to Ming Yao and Xiao Zhao, urging: "Ming Yao, Xiao Zhao, go back and inform Captain Majamu and the others, especially Dr. Laben; be sure he brings the Chain and the Origin Ball, they may be needed."

"I'll go first to scout the situation, and you can follow later," Huo La said, then turned to head toward the Tian Guan Mountain Foothills.

"Wait!" Xiao Zhao quickly reached out and grabbed his sleeve, eyes firm, tone urgent, "I'll go with you; I can't let you risk it alone!"

Huo La gently loosened Xiao Zhao's grip on his hand, his tone gentle yet unyieldingly firm: "No, I will be fine. With Dai Ou Qi Xi Si by my side, even if I encounter danger I can't overcome, I can still escape safely. In contrast, if you follow me, you'll only be a distraction and perhaps cause more trouble."

Ming Yao, seeing this, quickly stepped forward and grabbed the still‑arguing Xiao Zhao, saying gravely, "Xiao Zhao, we must not delay; we'll go now to inform Captain Majamu and the others. Rest assured, Huo La is the hero chosen by A Er Zhou Si; he won't be in danger."

Huo La gave Ming Yao a solemn nod, acknowledging his trust.

Then he tossed a Pokeball, a flash of Red Light streaked, and the massive body of a Gyarados instantly appeared on the camp's open ground.

Huo La leapt, settled steadily on the Gyarados's back, lightly patted its spine, and whispered a command.

The Gyarados let out a low roar, spread its broad fins, rose into the air, and sped toward the Tian Guan Mountain Foothills, its figure quickly vanishing into the distant forest and snowstorm.
