Chapter 374: Antimatter Devastated World

~5 min read 961 words

Huo La gave a few more reminders, soothed their emotions, then carefully slipped the Chain and Origin Ball back into his pack and hoisted the backpack onto his back.

He lifted his eyes toward the corner of the tent, his gaze landing on the system that seemed still absorbing energy; after a moment of silence, he spoke in his mind, "Daiochis, I am ready!"

The next second, Daiochis's voice rang in his mind, cold and clear: "Raise your right hand; I will gradually release the suppression, using Psychic to guide the Space‑Time Power, opening a portal to the Antimatter World for you. Remember, you must rush in at top speed—if Kiradinna senses the anomaly, it will be trouble."

"Understood," Huo La whispered, his fingertips tightening slightly.

He was, of course, aware of the risk—during the rescue of Kureseilia, Kiradinna had tried to use the alien Time and Space power within him to breach the spatial barrier and intrude into Hisui; the suffocating Intimidation he still remembers vividly.

As soon as the words fell, Daiochis's power began to surge silently.

Huo La felt his right hand suddenly scorching hot, a powerful energy spreading from his fingertips through his whole body, bringing a tearing pain; he clenched his teeth, forced himself not to cry out, and his left hand gripped his right wrist tightly, allowing no movement of his body.

Immediately after, he clearly sensed the alien Time and Space power in his right palm raging and tearing, a fine yet distinct spatial fissure slowly opening above his palm, emitting a faint glow.

From the other side of the fissure, a vague, violent roar of Kiradinna came, its penetrating force chilling to the bone.

"Huo La…" Xiao Zhao, seeing this, couldn't help covering his mouth, his eyes full of worry, his voice trembling slightly.

Huo La heard the voice, slowly turned his head, mustering all his strength, and forced a strained smile toward Xiao Zhao.

At that moment, Daiochis's urgent voice rang in his mind again: "Now!"

Huo La no longer hesitated; he thrust his foot forward, his body instantly merging into the spatial fissure.

Almost as he vanished, the fissure slowly contracted and faded, as if it had never been, leaving only Ming Yao and Xiao Zhao in the tent, staring at the empty corner, full of worry and concern.

The dizziness and tearing sensation of crossing Time and Space gradually faded; Huo La gently shook his swollen head, steadied himself, and his gaze slowly swept over everything before him.

This is the ruined Antimatter World where Kiradinna dwells.

The whole world consists of independent "Floating Islands", some hovering upright, bearing scattered vegetation;

others hang upside down in the void, with inverted trees growing on them, waterfalls cascading downward yet suspended mid‑air defying Gravity, the mirror‑like water surface reversed and spread, bizarre and fantastical.

What's more astonishing is that some Floating Islands and trees hide in the void; unless one approaches actively, they are completely invisible, only when Huo La steps close do their vague outlines slowly appear;

Some are illusory phantoms, appearing right before the eyes, yet once touched or approached, they dissipate like smoke, leaving no trace.

Huo La gazed at this perception‑defying scene, brows slightly furrowed, murmuring softly, "Is this Kiradinna's world?"

At that moment, he realized a faint glow enveloped him; raising his hand to touch, his fingertips felt a warm sensation—that was the Psychic Barrier Daiochis had set for him, isolating the world's bizarre energy and forming a protective shield.

"This world…" Daiochis's voice rang in his mind; even the eyes that were always emotionless now showed a hint of turbulence, "it resembles the worlds destroyed in the Universe, equally shattered, equally dead."

Huo La keenly caught the phrase "worlds destroyed in the Universe", his heart stirred, and he couldn't help asking, "Are there many worlds destroyed in the Universe?"

"Hmm, many," Daiochis's voice remained cold yet couldn't hide a hint of heaviness, "in the years I've drifted through the Universe, I've seen countless shattered worlds, lifeless, silent, only endless desolation."

Huo La, full of doubt, asked further, "Why do these worlds become shattered?"

"I don't know," Daiochis shook his head lightly, his tone now tinged with bewilderment, "perhaps a mighty god destroyed them personally, or maybe those worlds were flawed from birth, destined to break."

Huo La fell silent; Daiochis's words "god destroys worlds" jolted his heart.

He suddenly felt relieved; the Hisui he now occupied was also undergoing a similar crisis, and wasn't his daring to come here precisely to prevent disaster and save that impending shattered world?

Huo La wanted to speak, to ask more details about those shattered worlds, but Daiochis's urgent and wary voice suddenly rang in his mind, breaking the silence: "Careful, Kiradinna is coming!"

Before the words finished, a suffocating pressure surged instantly; Huo La jerked his head up, seeing a gray silhouette rushing toward him at breakneck speed.

It was Kiradinna, its body gray‑black, resembling a massive dragon, a golden half‑ring encircling from its back to its neck, glinting with a cold sheen;

A pair of ghostly massive wings unfolded, stirring strange black mist with each beat; the wing edges glowed with a faint violet hue, its aura radiating violent, potent energy, eyes icy, full of unabashed hostility.

"Not good," Huo La thought, watching the rapidly charging Kiradinna, his heart tightened, he muttered a curse subconsciously, his body tensed instantly, instinctively trying to dodge, but Kiradinna's speed was too great; in an instant it was within arm's reach, unavoidable.

Fortunately, Daiochis's Psychic Barrier had already taken effect; just as Kiradinna's claw was about to strike him, the barrier flashed a dazzling glimmer, Huo La's figure flickered with the light and vanished from the spot, narrowly evading the lethal blow.
