Chapter 375: War God
Huo La steadied himself again on a Floating Island not far away, the island beneath his feet trembling slightly; he adjusted the backpack on his back, looked down at the Kyurem below, and couldn't help but whisper in amazement, "This guy's speed is too fast!"
As soon as the words fell, a dense stream of data flashed in his eyes, flickering rapidly and clearly displaying all of Kyurem's information.
His previously solemn expression gradually relaxed, replaced by a hint of unmistakable doubt.
Unlike the Time-Space Dual Gods he had battled in the air earlier, the data on the Kyurem before him remained astonishingly formidable, yet he could see everything about it crystal‑clear, without a single vague question mark.

Huo La stared at the data, his brows slightly furrowed, and before he could ponder their meaning, the Kyurem below sensed his presence, thrust its massive head upward, its huge wings flapping violently with a ferocious aura, and dived toward him again.
At the same time, it gathered a dark‑purple Dragon Breath in its mouth, wrapped in destructive energy, barreling straight at Huo La's face.
In the critical moment, Deoxys's Psychic power activated again, a pale pink glow instantly enveloped Huo La, whisking his body away in a rapid teleport, just enough to evade the devastating Dragon Breath.
The next second, Huo La appeared behind the Kyurem; the Floating Island beneath him trembled slightly from the teleportation impact. He pressed a hand to his chest, breathed lightly, and thought, "Deoxys, I need your help."
Deoxys's voice instantly echoed in his mind, still cold but now with a hint of understanding: "Are you confident you can defeat it?"
It was crystal clear: Huo La's proactive request for help meant he already had a plan.
Huo La nodded slightly, his gaze growing more resolute: "We can give it a try. Since Wang Luo said this Kyurem is the one he originally captured, that already proves it is not unbeatable."
"Perhaps when Wang Luo first captured it, it wasn't as strong as now, but the difference is minimal. Whatever he could achieve, we can certainly do as well." Huo La paused, then added firmly, "And I already have a plan; I just need you to cooperate, to weaken its power."
As soon as the words left his mouth, a figure sprang from the Master Ball at Huo La's waist and landed steadily before him—Deoxys, surrounded by a faint Psychic aura, clearly having decided to fight alongside Huo La and cooperate in the plan.
"Switch to Speed Form," Huo La whispered, his eyes fixed on the Kyurem ahead, daring not to relax at all.
Deoxys didn't look back but cooperated fully, channeling its Psychic power; its body contracted slightly, its sheen sharpening, instantly shifting into Speed Form, becoming more agile, and its Psychic wave grew increasingly refined.
At the same time, the Kyurem again sensed their presence, whirled around violently, and upon seeing Huo La and the Deoxys before him, its anger intensified, its ferocious aura nearly bursting through the sky.
This is its territory, its space; a human and a Pokemon barging in like this is itself a provocation!
What fuels its rage even more is that it can clearly sense that the human before it harbors energy belonging to it;
And the suddenly appearing Pokemon is precisely the one that, back at the Space-time Rift, blocked its attempt to use that human to breach Hisui!
Old grudges plus new resentment have driven the Kyurem into total loss of control.
It raised its head to the sky and let out a deafening roar that echoed across the Destroyed World, shaking the surrounding Floating Islands.
Immediately after, a dense black shadow burst from its body, surging toward Huo La and Deoxys like a tide, at astonishing speed.
"It's Shadow Sneak!" Huo La's eyes narrowed, recognizing the move instantly, and he barked in a low voice, "Deoxys, use Light Screen, block the first wave!"
Almost the instant Huo La's words left his mouth, the Speed‑form Deoxys raised its hand at a speed indistinguishable to the naked eye, gathering dense Psychic energy into a crystal‑clear Light Screen before them, firmly blocking the shadow's impact.
The black Shadow Sneak slammed into the Light Screen with a "Bang" that rang loudly; the violent impact instantly shattered the screen, and the shadow exhausted its energy in the collision, dissipating into the void.
"Now, Psychic Terrain!" Huo La's voice rang again, urgent yet firm.
Deoxys immediately complied, its Psychic power surging wildly, creating beneath them a pale pink Psychic battlefield—though, due to the strange energy of the Destroyed World, this Psychic Terrain's radius was limited to no more than three meters, just enough to envelop the two.
With the Psychic Terrain's aid, Deoxys's Chaonengbodong grew even more refined, its speed and Psychic strength gaining a slight boost, the pale pink field's aura flickering gently, shielding the two firmly within.
Huo La stared at the raging Kyurem ahead, his tone heavy as he spoke again, "Do not leave this field."
He knew that Deoxys, as a Psychic‑type Pokemon, is inherently restrained by the Kyurem's Ghost type— even with the Psychic Terrain's boost, it could only partially close the gap; he had no intention of dragging out a prolonged battle with the Kyurem, as the delay would only increase risk.
Moreover, although he could see all of Kyurem's types and data clearly, it was undeniable that a significant power gap still existed between Deoxys and Kyurem, making a head‑on clash far from wise.
Huo La's gaze sharpened, seizing the brief pause in Kyurem's breathing, and he commanded in a low voice, "Deoxys, use Freezing Wind!"
