Chapter 2519
Tang Sanzang was somewhat intoxicated by the aroma of the tea, and before he knew it, he was somewhat dazzled and mesmerized.
Little did he know that at this time, outside the temple, among the six trees, five had already disappeared.
Tang Sanzang had not paid special attention to what kind of trees those six trees were before.
And inside the temple, a leaf drifted down for no reason. This leaf was emerald green, long and narrow, revealing vigorous vitality.
At the Guan Shi Mirror, Wu Feng was watching everything inside the temple.
"Husband, these few are clearly demons. Tang Sanzang's situation is very dangerous now. Why don't you let Sun Wukong come to save him?"
Little White blinked her large eyes, looking at Wu Feng with a confused expression, and spoke.
"This Kalpa Tribulation must be overcome by Tang Sanzang himself. If others intervene, then this Kalpa Tribulation will vanish."
Wu Feng looked at Little White and spoke extremely calmly.
Subsequently, the scene in the mirror changed, and one could see outside the temple that of the six trees, only one was standing there now, and the other five were gone.
"Did you notice? What kind of trees were the six trees just now?"
Wu Feng glanced at Little White and Six-Ears, and then spoke.
"I only remember that the apricot blossoms on that tree were blooming brilliantly; I didn't pay much attention to the other trees."
Little White looked at Wu Feng and said with extreme seriousness.
"I remember there seemed to be a pine tree, and a bamboo, and I don't remember the others."
Six-Ears crossed his arms in front of his chest and said calmly.
"That's right, these six trees are pine, bamboo, cypress, juniper, maple, and apricot."
Wu Feng's expression was extremely serious as he looked at Six-Ears and Little White.
"Now the trees are gone, Tang Sanzang hasn't noticed at all, and he followed those five Daoist priests into the temple."
"It is obvious that these five Daoist priests must all be tree demons. What exactly are they trying to do?"
Six-Ears frowned and then spoke.
"Don't be anxious, keep watching!"
Wu Feng looked at Six-Ears and said calmly.
One could see that inside the temple, everyone picked up their teacups and took a sip of tea.
Master Eighteen also entertained him enthusiastically, inviting Tang Sanzang to eat the food. Tang Sanzang picked up a piece of mountain mushroom and immediately discovered that this mountain mushroom was truly incomparably delicious, and he could not help but feel extremely surprised in his heart.
That Master Fuyun suddenly said, "I couldn't sleep last night, and seeing the moonlight so quiet and beautiful, I composed a poem. I would like to ask Master Xuanzang for some guidance."
At this moment, everyone stopped their chopsticks, wearing smiles, and looked at Master Fuyun.
That Master Fuyun stood up, wearing a smile, looking as if he were inspired, and he chanted, "Jade-green peaks stacked high, the bright moon shines on the mountain ridge, clear breeze and white clothes, a jade-like gentleman, not asking about the fame and fortune of the floating world, just turning pages of poetry and books to smell the ink."
Tang Sanzang did not know that this Master Fuyun was originally a bamboo demon, and this poem was entirely a reflection of his inner self.
It was just that after the poem was recited, the others all looked at Tang Sanzang, as if expecting his reaction, and even Master Lingkong stopped playing the zither.
Tang Sanzang savored these lyrics; they were ancient, elegant, and possessed integrity, with quite a bit of ease and freedom. His father was originally a scholar of the Tang Dynasty, and when it came to writing, he was quite good. Although Tang Sanzang was sent to the Buddhist sect as soon as he was born, it seemed that he had long carried the genes for poetry in his bones.
Therefore, in the intervals between chanting Buddhist scriptures, he would also browse through some poetry and was often intoxicated by the beautiful lines within.
