Chapter 989: Disgusting the Wilson Corporation to Death
The next day, Sophie still went to the company because they had won the bid, and she needed to oversee the follow-up matters.
Knowing they won the bid, everyone in the company cheered excitedly!
"Hey hey, I know everyone’s happy, so..." Sophie clapped her hands with a smile, and a staff member pushed a cart over with several boxes on it, "I’m treating everyone to chocolate!"
"Long live the boss!" The employees cheered.
Sophie watched them laugh, "Tonight, I’m treating, let’s go to Seafood City for a meal. You can order only the expensive stuff, not what’s right!"
Sophie’s words made all the employees burst into laughter; their boss was just too adorable.
"Fully support the leader’s proposal!"
"Resolutely execute the leader’s orders!"
"Hmm, you all have a bright future!" Sophie nodded vigorously, saying with gratification.
Her actions made everyone laugh together, and the atmosphere was fantastic.
"Alright, alright, let’s discuss how to handle this winning project first." Sophie clapped her hands, motivating all the employees, and ideas flowed one after another.
Edward Palmer watched from the side, shaking his head slightly; their boss really knew how to handle things.
She could blend in with the subordinates without making them feel disrespected, a true skill indeed.
While Sophie and the team were busy, Charles Seymour was busy as well.
"Wait, boss, what did you just say?" Jim Perry rubbed his ear, thinking he might not have heard correctly.
"Acquire this company," Charles pointed at the file folder, repeating again.
Jim furrowed his brow and said, "We have a similar company already."
"Moreover, this company..." Jim said dissatisfied, "doesn’t have much profit at all, and we totally don’t need to acquire it."
Mason Wilson took a look at the company’s situation, searched through his mind, and then looked at Charles, asking, "Are you sure about this?"
These three words sure have a twist.
Jim’s eyes sparkled instantly; he loved gossip, especially if it was about his boss.
"Yes." Charles nodded, "Price doesn’t matter, I want speed!"
"Aren’t you going to consider this more?" Mason asked with a frown. He knew Charles had money, and Peace Corporation’s earnings were pretty high, but wasting money like this was really unnecessary.
"Buy!" Charles commanded succinctly.
This statement showed he had made up his mind; no one could change it.
"Alright, then we’ll study how to make the acquisition as fast as possible." Jim nodded; the boss had said so, what else could they say?
Of course, they could only follow orders.
With this issue resolved, they continued discussing other matters.
By the time everything was done, it was already noon. After leaving the office, Jim smiled at Mason, saying, "President Wilson, let me treat you to lunch."
Mason certainly understood what Jim meant.
This was about wanting to gather some information.
"Alright." Mason nodded and agreed. The two went to a restaurant, and after ordering, Mason spoke directly before Jim could ask, "Wilson Corporation also wants to acquire this company; they’re just waiting for the most suitable moment to act."
Jim wasn’t a fool; he understood immediately.
"Oh my, the boss just wants to mess with Wilson Corporation!"
