Chapter 653

~3 min read 566 words

He must crush these unpredictable elements in the cradle.

Luo En swiftly struck again, once more smashing through some of the monsters.

The monsters fled in panic, but Luo En did not let them go; he swiftly chased after them and killed every monster before him.

Moments later, the entire region fell utterly silent. Luo En stood there, scanning the surroundings, searching for traces of the fleeing monsters.

Kage shuffled forward nervously and spoke.

"You've truly done it—you've eliminated all the monsters."

Luo En shook his head and said.

"No, there's one even more powerful."

With that, he lifted his gaze toward the front.

Kage followed Luo En's line of sight, but saw nothing at all.

"What is it? Why can't I see anything?"

Luo En said.

"There's another, even more formidable creature hiding in the shadows—but it will strike me soon."

At that moment, the entire ground began to tremble.

Kage spoke in terror.

"We must flee immediately—that giant looks dangerous."

Luo En said.

"Once we eliminate this giant, the world will be safe. Why not just live here forever?"

As he spoke, he clenched his fists tightly.

At this moment, vast amounts of energy surged through Luo En's body—this energy came mostly from the door that had granted it to him.

As the energy surged wildly, the ground's trembling intensified further.

At that instant, a deafening roar echoed from the sky, a sound so powerful it nearly made Kage collapse to his knees.

It was a soul-shaking force he could not describe; he retreated rapidly, staring at Luo En.

"I'm no match for him. I can't stay here any longer."

Luo En nodded and said.

"Then leave quickly."

Kage felt as if granted amnesty; he sprinted off in another direction, glancing back once at Luo En.

At that moment, Luo En stood there like a celestial war god, filling him with immense awe.

In that instant, he seemed to have already decided Luo En was his new master.

The sky grew darker still, the entire world seeming to merge into one, becoming darkness; a colossal shadow suddenly appeared, descending like a vast canopy to engulf Luo En.

Luo En lifted his head, glanced at the shadow, and a faint smile curled on his lips.

"I never expected you to show up until now."

Boom—deafening explosions rang through the sky, yet they saw nothing but the immense shadow descending.

The entire region had changed drastically; the stench of blood vanished, replaced by a pungent, eerie odor.

Luo En knew the master of this space had finally arrived. Moments later, beneath the shadow stood a slender woman.

She appeared tiny, standing in stark contrast to the colossal shadow above.

The woman, her face icy, stepped before Luo En.

"Why did you attack my subordinates?"

Luo En said.

"Your subordinates attacked me first. I had no choice but to strike back. But you failed to control your own underlings in your world—that is your negligence."

The girl's expression darkened further.

"My affairs are none of your concern. Since you attacked my subordinates, you will pay with your life."

With that, she suddenly extended her hand to strike Luo En—but he vanished from before her in a flash.

The girl's face showed surprise; though she had seen Luo En fight before, she never imagined he had grown this powerful.

In an instant, Luo En appeared behind the girl.
