Chapter 655
In an instant, the Lord Curse arrived before that door; when he saw it, his face drastically changed.
"Could this be the legendary door?"
The curses beside him all nodded and said.
"It should be—it matches the description exactly."
Taiyirou did not know what the Lord Curse was talking about, but he could feel a terrifying aura emanating from all these curses—they were clearly very tense.
After some conversation, Luo En had come to understand the girl before him.
This girl could not be called human—she was formed from the gathering of heaven and earth's spiritual energy, yet he did not know why she had taken this form.
The spiritual energy within her could grant life to all living beings, which was why she could create life.
Upon learning this, Luo En looked at the girl in surprise; he had not expected such extraordinary beings still existed in this world.
The girl said.
"We are in fact trapped here, with no way to escape."
Luo En frowned.
"What happened?"
The girl said.
"After this space was created, we were besieged by others, but I never imagined I could not escape at all."
Luo En immediately understood: indeed, that door was a seal, imprisoning these beings and the woman here.
If the seal broke, the door would naturally open, and the beings inside would immediately escape.
At that moment, the entire space suddenly trembled; a massive crack appeared in the sky.
The girl looked at the sky; her expression subtly changed, and she said.
"As expected, strange omens have arisen. Though I do not know what exactly happened, I can feel the energy here is collapsing—could it be that we are about to be freed?"
Luo En knew this space could not hold out much longer, and the cracks had already begun to show signs of collapse.
Clearly, before long, this space would vanish, and they would inevitably descend into that world.
After their earlier conversation, Luo En realized the girl had no ill intent toward humans—she was merely extremely neutral.
The monsters she had created had already been destroyed by Luo En, so even if this world opened, it would pose no threat.
At that moment, the cracks in the sky grew larger, and a terrifying aura poured out from within.
The things within this world, upon encountering this aura, instantly collapsed into ash.
Outside, Taiyirou saw the entire door begin to shake violently; numerous cracks had appeared on its surface. His face subtly changed—was this door finally going to open?
The curses behind him were even more astonished; they stared intently at the door, nerves taut, ready for battle.
"It seems they are about to emerge."
Taiyirou suddenly said.
The Lord Curse roared loudly.
"Everyone, prepare! This war is about to begin—we must win."
Boom—a tremendous roar, and dark energy surged from all directions; the curses spread like rolling smoke, encircling the place completely.
At this moment, all the curses in heaven and earth seemed to have gathered here.
They all understood one thing: disaster was coming, and changes in heaven and earth were about to occur.
Though these curses did not yet know what had happened, they could sense something threatening their very survival was about to appear.
The Lord Curse stared fixedly at the door; his hands were already filled with vast amounts of curse energy.
Luo En looked at the sky outside and said in surprise.
"The collapse of this world may generate massive energy—we must prepare."
Boom—a tremendous roar, and the entire world collapsed violently.
Moments later, the few of them suddenly appeared beside that door.
And the moment they appeared, they saw countless curses surrounding them in all directions.
Luo En's face drastically changed; then he saw Taiyirou before the curses.
The girl's face showed astonishment; when she saw her creations, a smile appeared on her face.
"I never expected you've grown into such a powerful force."
Just as the Lord Curse was about to order an attack, he suddenly saw Luo En and the curses beside him; he paused slightly, then shouted loudly.
"What is going on here?"
Luo En said.
"I've brought back your ancestor."
The Lord Curse roared angrily.
"Teach this fellow a lesson—make him watch his tongue!"
The curses beside him were about to strike, but suddenly a surge of powerful energy swept outward, forcing all the curses back.
The curses stared at the girl in astonishment; they felt bewildered, for her appearance seemed familiar, yet they could not recall who she was.
The Lord Curse also stared at the girl in surprise, slowly walking up to her.
He could feel a terrifying aura emanating from her—this aura was specifically directed at curses.
So when he sensed it, he knew this girl was no ordinary being.
"Who are you?"
The Lord Curse asked, puzzled.
The girl stepped before the Lord Curse, sizing him up, then slightly frowned.
"Are you the boss here? Who is the strongest among you?"
The Lord Curse nodded and spoke.
"That's right, I'm the boss here, and I'm indeed the strongest here."
A look of disappointment crossed the girl's face; she had thought her subjects had grown stronger, but this fellow was vastly different from what she imagined.
The curse beside Luo En spoke.
"He is indeed the boss here, but there are many other curses in this world—perhaps the earliest ones you created are not here."
The girl nodded; she had indeed not seen the oldest batch of curses among these, and at this thought, her expression softened slightly.
The Lord Curse was baffled; he kept feeling the girl looked familiar, so until now he had not attacked her.
But the girl's expression just now tightened his heart—such a feeling had never occurred before, and he was deeply astonished: who exactly was this girl?
He looked at the curse beside the girl with a questioning gaze, and the curse quietly stepped forward to speak to the Lord Curse.
"She is truly our ancestral progenitor; she created the first batch of curses."
"In that world, there were many strange creatures—all of them created by her—but they were all wiped out by that guy."
As he said this, he pointed at Luo En.
The Lord Curse stared at the girl in shock, then turned back to the curse beside him.
"Is what you say true?"
The curse hurriedly nodded.
"Absolutely true—I saw many bizarre creatures in that world, and their internal energy was terrifying."
Though he did not know whether it was true or false, the Lord Curse now felt not the slightest complacency.
He quickly stepped before the girl, bowed slightly, and spoke with great reverence.
"Greetings, Ancestral Progenitor."
The girl smiled and patted the Lord Curse's head, saying:
"Now that I have returned to this world, I will lead you all to the pinnacle."
The Lord Curse never imagined he would so easily gain an Ancestral Progenitor; clearly, she possessed immense power, and her every smile and frown gave him a sense of warmth.
He looked at the curses beside him and said to them all:
"From now on, she is your true boss."
The curses stared at the girl, their eyes filled with astonishment.
They had never heard her name before, so they had no idea who she was.
But now it seemed this person possessed terrifying power and was also very kind to them.
If such a person were truly to become their boss, they would of course wholeheartedly support it—but so far, they knew nothing about her, not even her identity.
This sudden, inexplicable addition of a boss made it hard for them to accept it deep inside.
One of the curses spoke to the Lord Curse.
