Chapter 85: The Strongest Cultivation Method
All things in the world, regardless of species, rank, or status, can have their lives divided into two parts: the body and the spirit. This divides every living being into a tangible and an intangible part. Taking humans as an example, the human body is tangible, the tangible manifestation of a person living in the world, while the human spirit is intangible and must rely on the body to exist. The spirit, in turn, acts upon the body, providing it with intangible energy such as essence, spirit, Qi, strength, and intent, allowing the body to have consciousness, memory, strength, vitality, and to complete various survival activities.
But the power of the body alone is very limited, so it can only complete simple things, while the power of the human spirit is infinite and can greatly strengthen the body's power, erupting with power incomparable to physical strength alone. People who rely solely on physical strength are what we call ordinary people, while those who use spiritual power to strengthen physical power are what we call Mind users. Of course, there are higher levels above Mind users who are also such people.
The human body is a whole, indivisible; if divided, it will be incomplete and cannot be restored. The human spirit can be divided into two parts, called the Spirit and the Soul.
The Spirit can be divided into three spirits: the Heavenly Spirit, the Earthly Spirit, and the Life Spirit. The Soul has seven souls: the first is the Heavenly Rush Soul, the second is the Spiritual Wisdom Soul, the third is the Qi Soul, the fourth is the Strength Soul, the fifth is the Central Pivot Soul, the sixth is the Essence Soul, and the seventh is the Heroic Soul. Furthermore, the Spirit and the Soul are Yin and Yang to each other; the Spirit is Yin, and the Soul is Yang.
In addition, the three spirits and seven souls are each divided into Yin and Yang. For example, among the three spirits, the Heavenly Spirit is a Yang spirit, the Earthly Spirit is a Yin spirit, and the Life Spirit is a Yang spirit. Among the seven souls, the Qi Soul, Strength Soul, and Central Pivot Soul are Yang souls, also known as Human Souls; the Heavenly Rush Soul and Spiritual Wisdom Soul are Yin souls, also known as Heavenly Souls; and the Essence Soul and Heroic Soul are Yang souls, also known as Earthly Souls. The two Yang and one Yin in the three spirits and the two Yang and one Yin in the seven souls are compatible with each other, forming the spirit.
Among the three spirits, the Heavenly Spirit and Earthly Spirit often wander outside the human body, while only the Life Spirit resides within the body. Because the Heavenly Spirit and Earthly Spirit often wander outside, the three spirits do not often gather together. But the seven souls are always in the human body, constantly providing the body with intangible energy such as essence, spirit, Qi, strength, and intent. Unless life ends, they will not leave the human body. If life ends, the seven souls will leave the body, and because they lose the reliance of the tangible body, they eventually dissipate into the intangible, and the body, unable to receive the intangible energy provided by the spirit, rots and eventually disappears.
Among the seven souls, the two Heavenly Souls, two Earthly Souls, and three Human Souls correspond to Yin and Yang and never separate, often attached to the human body. The human seven souls are actually hidden in the seven energy fields we call the human body, from the top of the head to the crotch, namely the Crown Chakra, Third Eye Chakra, Throat Chakra, Heart Chakra, Navel Chakra, Sacral Chakra, and Root Chakra. Among them, the Heavenly Rush Soul is attached to the Crown Chakra, the Spiritual Wisdom Soul to the Third Eye Chakra, the Qi Soul to the Throat Chakra, the Strength Soul to the Heart Chakra, and is also connected to the palms and soles of the feet. The Central Pivot Soul is attached to the Navel Chakra, the Essence Soul to the Sacral Chakra, and the Heroic Soul to the Root Chakra.
Among the seven souls, the Heavenly Rush Soul and Spiritual Wisdom Soul govern thought and wisdom, and are the deciders of human thought and wisdom. The Central Pivot Soul connects the Qi Soul and Strength Soul, governing action through them, controlling various human actions, and determining the body's coordination, Qi, strength, etc. The Essence Soul and Heroic Soul govern the body and health, providing essence and vitality for the body, and are the foundation of human health. Only the Central Pivot Soul is the center of the seven souls; the other six souls are all connected by the Central Pivot Soul, and through it, they connect, interact, and provide each other with their respective energy, jointly completing various human activities. The human Life Spirit is attached to the seven chakras.
Inside the human body, the Yin of the two Heavenly Souls (Heavenly Rush and Spiritual Wisdom) interacts with the Yang of the two Earthly Souls (Essence and Heroic) to produce the tangible strength of the Human Souls for the body to use.
However, after a person is born, the chakras close, sealing the seven souls within the chakras, thereby cutting off the connection between the seven souls and the outside world, and even preventing them from connecting with each other. The human body cannot receive the power of the souls, and the souls cannot absorb spiritual energy from the body and the outside world, cannot continue to grow, and thus become ordinary people. Awakening the Mind is actually reopening the closed chakras, allowing the souls within the chakras to connect with the outside world, allowing the souls to absorb spiritual energy from the outside world to grow and constantly strengthen. Unfortunately, no one today knows of the existence of the spirit, let alone the soul. People today only know of the existence of chakras and only guide spiritual energy to the chakras, letting the chakras absorb it to strengthen themselves, and then use the already opened chakras to open the still-closed chakras from the outside to achieve breakthroughs and advancement. But this method is the lowest, as it will cause certain damage to the chakras, greatly reducing their ability to absorb spiritual energy, and the souls will also unknowingly devour the spiritual energy in the chakras for their own use, causing an imbalance between the souls and chakras due to mutual competition, further increasing damage to the chakras, while also failing to maximize the connection between the souls. These two points make cultivation progress slow and power greatly reduced.
Therefore, the correct method should be to guide spiritual energy into the souls within the chakras, allowing the souls to absorb spiritual energy and constantly grow. In the process of the souls constantly growing, they will return Mind power to the chakras, allowing the chakras to also grow, and the stronger the souls, the more and more powerful the Mind power they return. When a soul absorbs spiritual energy to its saturation point, it can communicate with other souls in closed chakras through this soul, awakening them, and then use its own power to open the chakras from the inside, thereby achieving breakthroughs and advancement. This method of breakthrough and advancement not only does not damage the chakras but also maximizes the connection between the souls, finally reaching a state of seven souls as one. This way, after each breakthrough, the strength increase is even greater, the ability exerted is stronger, the cultivation speed is faster than ordinary people, and there will be no situation where cultivation stops due to insufficient talent before awakening the seven souls. And when this method is used to fully awaken the seven souls, because the seven souls are already linked, they are more coordinated in all aspects, perception ability will be more powerful, and with the connection established between each soul, learning various moves and attack methods will be faster than others, and being called a genius is no exaggeration.
Silence... Zhuge Tianxin fell into silence after reading the introduction on the Hunter's Handkerchief. If one cultivated according to what was said on the Hunter's Handkerchief, there would be no bottleneck in the seven ranks of Mind users, and the cultivation speed would be faster than others. Calling this the strongest cultivation method was no exaggeration. ===== CHAPTER 86 =====
