Chapter 507: Xixi
When Yan Zhusheng entered Xu Youyu's room, he immediately tackled Li Luo onto the bed.
When Ying Chanxi opened the door, she saw this scene.
Li Luo lay on the bed facing the door, his feet still planted on the floor.
Yan Zhusheng sat astride his abdomen, leaning down as if passionately kissing Li Luo.
This left Ying Chanxi frozen in place—she had expected to fly over in rage and stop them, but seeing it firsthand, she instinctively wanted to retreat.
As if not truly seeing it meant nothing had happened.
Thinking this, Ying Chanxi stifled her grievance and bitterness, trying to hypnotize herself, and instinctively took half a step back—when suddenly Li Luo's voice came from the bed.
"Stop biting! The Adam's apple is the neck, not the mouth! Are you trying to murder me?!"
Hearing Li Luo speak, Ying Chanxi realized something was off and hurried forward two or three steps, only to discover it was purely a matter of angle.
Now closer, she saw they hadn't kissed at all—Yan Zhusheng was leaning over Li Luo, kissing his Adam's apple…
"Xixi." Yan Zhusheng, hearing movement behind him, sat up and turned, puzzled, "Didn't you say no one could leave the sofa during an event?"
"I—I have a skill card!" Ying Chanxi suddenly remembered why she was here and pulled out the 【Caught in the Act Card】 she'd brought along, "I've disrupted your event—come back with me now!"
Li Luo and Yan Zhusheng got off the bed and followed Ying Chanxi back to the living room.
Though she now realized the two hadn't done what she thought, Ying Chanxi reconsidered—even if Yan Zhusheng hadn't kissed Li Luo's lips, his Adam's apple…
Ying Chanxi couldn't help glancing instinctively at Li Luo's Adam's apple, and the more she looked, the more sensual it seemed.
Knowing Yan Zhusheng had already kissed it, she felt a restless itch—and a faint sourness in her chest.
If she'd known, she should've stopped by her bedroom first and brought out Pikachu and Doraemon.
The more she played this game, the more her hands itched, as if something vital was missing to release the tension.
The four continued the game, and it was Li Luo's turn to roll the dice.
He had never triggered an event before; besides the 【Caught in the Act Card】 Ying Chanxi had taken, he held one 【Scene Card】 and one 【Event Card】—he only needed one more 【Character Card】 to trigger the event.
His luck was good—he rolled a 3 and landed on a 【Character Card】 space, drawing one from the deck.
"【Character Card】: Choose your first kiss partner and describe the kiss. (If your first kiss is still intact, or your first kiss partner is not present, select the player present whom you most wish to be your first kiss partner.)"
Upon seeing this card, Yan Zhusheng's eyes narrowed slightly, displeased.
Xu Youyu sighed, disappointed it wasn't her card drawn.
Beside them, Ying Chanxi felt a surge of joy, then quickly stiffened her face, feigning indifference.
"Cough." Li Luo had already kissed three girls by now—he wasn't shy or embarrassed by this, and stood up calmly, extending his hand toward Ying Chanxi, "Let's go."
Ying Chanxi nodded slightly and reached out—only for Xu Youyu to raise her hand and block her.
"Sister, what are you doing?"
"Didn't you listen carefully?" Xu Youyu chuckled, "Li Luo still has to describe the details of your first kiss."
At this, Ying Chanxi's face flushed red, embarrassed.
But remembering how Yan Zhusheng had pinned Li Luo to the bed and kissed his Adam's apple, and recalling Xu Youyu's affectionate embrace on his back, and how Xu Youyu had played "Mo Jituo," Ying Chanxi gritted her teeth and nodded firmly at Li Luo.
Seeing this, Li Luo cleared his throat, opened his Memory Palace, recalled the moment vividly, and couldn't help smiling.
"Go on," Xu Youyu urged, curious.
Though Xu Youyu and Yan Zhusheng both knew Li Luo and Ying Chanxi's first kiss had happened during Li Luo's birthday, when they secretly went to the riverbank to film the MV,
they didn't know the details—only what they'd glimpsed from the released MV.
Now with a chance to pry into the specifics, they weren't about to let it slip.
And with his Memory Palace, Li Luo began recounting every detail.
From the initial awkwardness of the filming process, to how after every take, they'd invent reasons to reshoot from different angles.
Listening, Xu Youyu couldn't help chuckling, "A car passes and you reshoot? That must've been exhausting."
Hearing this, Ying Chanxi felt embarrassed and lowered her head guiltily.
Not just cars—later, all it took was saying, "I don't feel it's good enough," and they'd reshoot.
"Then one time, Xixi said according to the plot logic, it made more sense for her to chase me, so she should take the initiative," Li Luo continued.
"After a few more reshoots with minor adjustments, one time Xixi suddenly kissed me out of nowhere."
"How long?" Yan Zhusheng asked, eyes narrowed, "Did you use your tongue?"
"No way!" Ying Chanxi shouted in denial at this question.
"And it wasn't even long—not even a second," Li Luo coughed, smiling helplessly, "She kissed me suddenly, misjudged the angle, and our noses smashed together—it hurt like hell."
"Aww, don't say that!" Ying Chanxi's face burned red, recalling her failed first kiss and regretting it bitterly, "I forgot you have to tilt your head when kissing!"
Xu Youyu smiled gently: "Xixi, you're so adorable—just charging straight in like that? But I admire your courage."
"So Xixi was the one who kissed first?" Yan Zhusheng confirmed, strangely pleased.
She'd assumed Li Luo had initiated it.
After all, given Xixi's personality, she never seemed the type to make the first move.
That had always left Yan Zhusheng with a bitter taste.
But now knowing Ying Chanxi had acted first, she felt oddly content.
"I-I just had a sudden inspiration," Ying Chanxi still insisted, "I thought keeping reshoots going wasn't sustainable, so I decided to make a small sacrifice."
"And then?" Xu Youyu pressed, "That nose-bump was a filming failure, right? But your MV turned out great later."
"Because we filmed it again," Li Luo explained.
"And this time it was a real kiss, right?" Xu Youyu raised an eyebrow.
"Yes."
"Did you use your tongue this time?" Yan Zhusheng pressed.
"Stop! Stop! Stop!" Ying Chanxi's face flushed crimson, interrupting their interrogation, "The card only asked about the first kiss! What came after isn't part of that—don't ask anymore!"
Seeing Ying Chanxi's flustered little expression, Xu Youyu burst out laughing.
Yan Zhusheng muttered under her breath: "Chanxi is so stingy."
"Let's go, let's go." Ying Chanxi quickly pulled Li Luo away from the sofa, then turned back and asked, "What event did you trigger again?"
Li Luo thought for a moment, then said: "I recently developed a new dish, went to the kitchen to try it, ended up arguing with my first kiss partner, flew into a rage and slapped them, then saw their tears fall and realized my mistake, immediately comforting them."
Ying Chanxi: "... That's such an abstract sequence—was your dish just that terrible?"
"Are you questioning my cooking?" Li Luo walked into the kitchen, heard Ying Chanxi's words, and immediately pinched her soft cheek.
Ying Chanxi, in turn, shut the kitchen door without hesitation, keeping Xu Youyu and Yan Zhusheng from hearing what was happening inside.
Due to the angle, the sofa could only see a small triangular section of the wall near the kitchen entrance.
As long as Li Luo and Ying Chanxi took two more steps inward, unless Xu Youyu and Yan Zhusheng broke the rules and ran to the dining table to look, they couldn't possibly see what was happening in the kitchen.
"So shall we hurry this up, or..." Li Luo walked to the sink, turned around, and looked at Ying Chanxi.
But before he finished speaking, Ying Chanxi had already thrown herself into his arms and hugged him tightly.
Since the Monopoly game began tonight, she'd been watching her two good friends cuddle up to Li Luo, while she got not a single chance.
Now that she finally had a moment alone with him, Ying Chanxi had no intention of ending it quickly—right now, she only wanted to cling to Li Luo, never let go, greedily inhaling his scent, feeling utterly at peace.
Li Luo wrapped his arms around her slender waist, resting his chin on her head, the faint fragrance of her hair drifting lightly around his nose.
They held each other for a long while, until Xu Youyu's voice called from outside, forcing them to part temporarily.
"Are you two done yet?! Slapping someone takes this long? Li Luo, you're not going to slap Chanxi's face swollen, are you?!"
"We're almost done! Don't rush!" Li Luo replied helplessly, then looked down at Ying Chanxi with a smile, "What should we do? Really slap you?"
"Go ahead and slap." Ying Chanxi puffed out her cheeks, but no longer dared to cling to Li Luo—she lifted her fair, dewy face, closed her eyes, and said, "If you need it, I can even cry for you."
"Really?" Li Luo raised his hand—saying he'd slap her, he merely tapped her cheek lightly, for he could never bring himself to truly strike her—but teased, "Cry for me, then?"
Feeling the gentle tap on her cheek, Ying Chanxi, hearing Li Luo's words, suddenly felt defiant and decided to really cry for him.
She immediately recalled in her mind the scene of Yan Zhusheng tackling Li Luo onto the bed, imagining how it would feel if Yan Zhusheng had truly kissed him—and she'd seen every detail.
Then...
"Holy shit! You really cried?!" Li Luo, seeing the tear rolling down Ying Chanxi's eye, panicked, quickly cupped her face, and gently wiped it, "Chanxi—are you really crying or faking it?"
Ying Chanxi opened her eyes, her heart filled with bitterness—she'd only imagined it, but the thought that Yan Zhusheng must have secretly kissed Li Luo before made her inner string snap.
Normally, she'd unconsciously avoid thinking about these things.
Now that she deliberately thought about it, Ying Chanxi felt a crushing ache, her chest tight, tears streaming uncontrollably.
"Don't cry, don't cry, it's my fault, okay? Don't cry." Li Luo had assumed she was just faking it, maybe squeezing out a few tears.
But the flood of tears now refusing to stop startled him.
The next second, Ying Chanxi, her face full of grievance and tears, reached out both arms, clasped his neck, tiptoed, and pressed her soft lips—slightly salty—to his.
Unconsciously, Li Luo pinned her against the wall.
His kiss had a hypnotic effect—Ying Chanxi quickly forgot everything she'd just imagined, lost in the sweet embrace of their kiss.
As if leaving her mark on his lips would ensure he'd forever belong to her.
Only when Xu Youyu called out again did their lips finally part.
But Ying Chanxi wasn't done—after her tiptoes touched the floor, she gazed straight at Li Luo's neck, her eyes locking onto his Adam's apple.
Then she suddenly leaned forward and lightly bit it, sucking once.
"Hey!" Li Luo stepped back half a pace, covering his neck helplessly, "Why are you acting like a puppy? Don't suck there—it could kill me."
"Huh?" Ying Chanxi had only wanted to try it because Yan Zhusheng had done it too—but hearing Li Luo's words, she worried, "I-I didn't hurt you, did I?"
"That spot is close to the trachea—if pressed too hard, it could compress my airway and I might suffocate." Li Luo pointed to his Adam's apple, warning, "Better not touch it again."
"Oh..." After hearing Li Luo, Ying Chanxi was shaken, immediately pressed herself against him, gently touched the spot, confirmed it was fine, then sighed in relief, "I won't touch it again."
"Let's go, they're still waiting."
"Mm." Ying Chanxi pressed her lips together, nodding happily.
The thought that she'd secretly kissed Li Luo while Yan Zhusheng and the senior were still in the living room, separated only by a kitchen door, made her feel thrilling.
And a sense of triumph, victorious and satisfied.
The sour feeling in her heart before had completely vanished after this kitchen incident.
When they entered the living room, Ying Chanxi's face still carried a smile.
Until Xu Youyu chuckled and asked, "Chanxi, why is your lip so red? Looks swollen."
"Huh? Really?" Ying Chanxi blushed, quickly pulled out her phone to check the mirror—and indeed, it was true.
"Did you two kiss?" Yan Zhusheng asked bluntly.
"This, that..." Ying Chanxi stammered, unsure what to say.
But Yan Zhusheng shook her head and said, "It's fine—I kissed Li Luo too, when we slept in his room earlier."
Ying Chanxi: "???"
Li Luo looked at Yan Zhusheng with a throbbing headache, thinking: this girl never holds a grudge overnight.
