Chapter 190: Langya Kingdom Academy Student Top 100 Ranking (Third update, still owing)

After the battle ended, Li Zhangsheng and the many freshmen of the Elite Class returned to the classroom, preparing to attend their first Elite Class lesson.

The first lesson was presided over by their homeroom teacher, Instructor Lu Qian.

Soon, Instructor Lu Qian walked into the classroom with a stern look on his old face, carrying a stack of papers.

"Li Zhangsheng, help me pass these out, one for each person!"

Li Zhangsheng did not hesitate and began distributing the papers; he had no objections to this, as capable people should do more work, and besides, doing more chores assigned by the instructor could improve his impression score.

Soon, Li Zhangsheng finished distributing them and sat back in his seat, which was located in the central area, with Zhang Yi still as his desk mate.

Whether it was Li Zhangsheng or Zhang Yi, both were deep-thinking individuals; even if they each had their own agendas, neither would show it on the surface.

Most importantly, the person in the entire class who could best set him off was Zhang Yi!

"What you have in your hands now is the officially produced Langya Kingdom Academy Student Ranking. This list is mainly to let you further understand your opponents! Alright, I will give you ten minutes; after ten minutes, we will proceed with the professional curriculum!"

After finishing, Instructor Lu Qian sat on the podium, calm and composed, his eyes slightly closed as if he were resting his mind.

……

The Four Great Academies of Langya Kingdom are the Royal Academy, Tiandu Academy, Huating Academy, and Yuanling Academy.

As for Yecheng Academy, it is an elite academy with a very high ranking and is also the most formidable challenger to the Four Great Academies.

Aside from Miao Yinfeng, Li Zhangsheng had hardly heard of any of these top-ranked individuals.

This was also normal; they were not famous Stronger, so naturally, they did not have such great renown.

"The first place is already Fifth Rank, and only in the third year. Well, the Royal Academy is normal; with so many resources every year, it would be unjustifiable not to have a Fifth Rank! However, Senior Miao is only ranked ninth; isn't that too low?"

When seeing Miao Yinfeng's ranking, Li Zhangsheng found it very strange, as Miao Yinfeng possessed a top-grade Emperor Green-Eyed Snake at the Leader Realm, which also possessed the Cold Chi Bloodline and was a High-level Leader Species.

Among all the Spirit Beasts Li Zhangsheng had seen, only Instructor Ning Bizhen's Three-Legged Fire Crow surpassed the Emperor Green-Eyed Snake in every aspect.

"Are the others stronger? Or is Senior Miao hiding his true strength?" Li Zhangsheng clearly leaned toward the latter; he did not believe that the eight people ranked ahead of Miao Yinfeng all possessed Demon Pets with combat power equivalent to the Emperor Green-Eyed Snake.

Just looking at this top ten, Li Zhangsheng felt the pressure; the Royal Academy went without saying, occupying four of the top five spots, which were almost unbeatable opponents.

Besides the Royal Academy, Tiandu Academy and Huating Academy each had two people in the top ten; even though the Huating Academy student ranked tenth was only Third Rank, they likely possessed the strength to challenge across ranks.

The most puzzling one was still Yecheng Academy; an elite academy dared to step on the head of Yuanling Academy. Even if Li Zhangsheng suspected Miao Yinfeng was hiding his strength, it showed how little the authorities thought of Yuanling Academy.

Soon, Li Zhangsheng finished reading the entire list, which included one hundred members from various academies in Langya Kingdom.

Among them, Yuanling Academy only had five people on the list. Yet, the Royal Academy, the head of the Four Great Academies, occupied a full 25 spots!

Terrifying!

No matter how small Langya Kingdom is, it has hundreds of academies; for one academy to occupy 1/4 of the spots shows just how powerful the Royal Academy is.

Tiandu Academy had 12 people, Huating Academy had 9, and Yuanling Academy had 5; the Four Great Academies occupied half of the list.

The most speechless part was that Yecheng Academy had climbed above Yuanling Academy again; this elite academy had six people on the list this year!

Many of the students who could make this list were the chief students of their respective academies, all of which was a manifestation of powerful strength.

Of course, the ranking did not represent true strength; some people might be very strong but were not recorded due to various factors, and the authorities could only analyze their strength using the information they had collected.

Additionally, this list did not include first-year students, which was also normal; after all, school had only been open for a month, and the strength of first-year students was generally not strong, making them basically bystanders in the Academy Exchange Tournament, so naturally, they would not be valued by the authorities.

Zhang Yi said with envy: "I wonder when we will be able to make it onto this list?"

"Wait until you reach the Third Rank first!" Li Zhangsheng shrugged helplessly; looking at the list, everyone who made the top 100 was Third Rank or above.

"Our academy only has five people on the list!"

"This is too few; it's only a fraction of the Royal Academy's!"

"There's no help for it; our academy has been in decline for these three years, the resources allocated are not as good as the other three great academies, and the source of students is also not as good as three years ago!"

"Why does Yecheng Academy have six people on the list? Is it just because it's an academy in the capital?"

"Who knows? Yecheng Academy likely adopted a policy of concentrating resources to cultivate a small number of elite students, but this must sacrifice the interests of most students. However, we must be vigilant; it is possible they will challenge us as challengers!!"

……

Everyone began to discuss heatedly, with the main topic still revolving around Yuanling Academy. Some felt the list was not very reliable, as Yuanling Academy only had five people on the list, and the strongest person's ranking was not as good as Yecheng Academy's, being inferior in every way, which made many students feel indignant.

It was not just Yecheng Academy; several other elite academies also had strong power, so it was no wonder people said the situation for Yuanling Academy this year was very poor.

"You've all finished reading, right? Our situation this year is very grim; if we're not careful, we might fall out of the ranks of the Four Great Academies. However, I have high expectations for you, and I hope you can make progress faster."

When saying this, Instructor Lu Qian could not help but glance at Li Zhangsheng and Zhao Shuyi. He thought highly of these two; judging from the duel just now, they already had the ability to challenge across ranks, and in a month or so, their strength would only be stronger, perhaps even reaching the Third Rank.

Besides these two, Zhang Yi, Xu Xiangzhi, and Luo Jie were also very excellent, only they were overshadowed by the two.

These were all good seedlings; he believed that as long as he taught them with care, these few freshmen might shine brilliantly in the Academy Exchange Tournament a month or so later, adding glory to Yuanling Academy.
