Chapter 48: Fists are Hard, Wands are not Soft

~7 min read 1,247 words

Snape left the crying Malfoy and walked toward the first-year freshmen's dormitory. Goyle and Crabbe had just finished changing clothes when they were pulled out by Snape for confrontation.

Snape, who got an affirmative answer, went to Chu Yang's room with suspicion.

Malfoy and the three followed closely behind Snape.

Snape pushed the door open hard, then looked up, finding no damage anywhere.

Chu Yang, who had just come out of the washroom, saw Snape with a frosty face and the aggrieved Malfoy behind him.

Chu Yang smiled, "Respected Professor Snape, what's the matter early in the morning?"

Snape took a deep breath, didn't mention the bookmark, but asked, "Mr. Malfoy is your roommate, but he slept in the common room last night. Don't you explain this?"

Chu Yang glanced at Malfoy and the three quickly, then asked in surprise, "Malfoy actually slept in the common room last night?"

A look of regret appeared on his face, and his tone also carried an apology, "I slept relatively early last night. Malfoy and the others woke me up when they came back. I complained a few words, so he might have gone to sleep in the common room because of this."

Chu Yang looked at Malfoy with a smile, "I'm sorry, Malfoy."

Malfoy's scalp was numb! "However, I remember inviting you to stay and rest later, right?" Chu Yang stared at Malfoy and the three sincerely.

Goyle and Crabbe nodded subconsciously. Chu Yang didn't lie. He did let Malfoy stay last night, but the other party was too scared, so he ran away.

Snape, who finally understood the ins and outs, looked at Malfoy coldly, "Mr. Malfoy, I am a person who hates lies very much. I will inform your father about your behavior today."

Malfoy immediately let out a scream! The highest level of lying in the world is to mess up the order of the truth and then add fuel to the fire.

Chu Yang smiled comfortably, but in the eyes of Goyle and Crabbe, his smile was like a devil.

"Hurry up and go to class!"

Snape roared, letting Malfoy and the three leave the dormitory in a panic.

Before leaving, Snape looked at Chu Yang deeply.

He knew that things were not as simple as Chu Yang said, but since the other party didn't show any flaws, he didn't need to pursue it anymore.

As for Malfoy, Snape's anger toward him was entirely because of his stupidity.

If conceit and strength are not equal, then it is just an arrogant idiot.

Chu Yang, who knew Snape's temper, understood that this matter was over after seeing the other party's reaction.

The first thing Chu Yang did when he got up this morning was to erase the traces of last night.

After taking the bookmark down, he restored everything with a Repairing Charm.

Snape probably wouldn't have thought that a little wizard who had just enrolled could cast spells so skillfully.

After Malfoy and the three and Snape left the dormitory, Chu Yang packed his things and went out slowly. As soon as he walked to the common room, he was blocked by several senior students.

"Kid, I heard you turned over quite a few classmates the night before last? The things you learned in the Muggle world won't always work here." A tall senior student glared at Chu Yang from above.

Chu Yang smiled politely, "It doesn't matter, it worked the night before last!"

The tall senior student heard Chu Yang's answer, and his anger rose. He didn't expect a freshman to dare to talk back to him like this.

"Harper!" A thin boy with long curly hair next to him reached out to stop the senior student who was about to get angry, "We are wizards, not thugs fighting on the streets of the Muggle world. We have our own way of dealing with things."

The tall senior student named Harper retreated a few steps, suppressing his anger, and said in a low voice, "You are right, Marcus." As he spoke, the long-curly-haired boy named Marcus took out his wand from his robe and pointed it at Chu Yang, "Do you know how many points our house lost because of you? This is just the beginning of school!"

Seeing him take out his wand, the polite smile on Chu Yang's face disappeared, and he said sternly, "First of all, I have already added back the points Slytherin lost. Secondly, are you sure you want to do this? Do you have the courage to bear all the consequences?"

"Courage?" Marcus smiled playfully and teased, "Courage is not the patent of Gryffindor, Slytherin never lacks courage."

When the two were confronting, another senior student walked over from the spiral staircase, with a strong aura. He walked to the two of them with his head held high and said, "Marcus, don't go too far, otherwise I won't be able to explain to the school. This is my last year at school, and I don't want to leave any stains."

"No problem, prefect, I will use a simple Petrification Charm to let him stay in the common room for a whole day." Marcus replied respectfully.

The man glanced at Chu Yang coldly and then left the common room without looking back.

Is it a big deal to fix a non-pure-blood wizard in Slytherin?

Of course not!

This group of seniors wanted to fix Chu Yang last night, but because Chu Yang changed dormitories temporarily, they couldn't find Chu Yang.

Who could have thought that Chu Yang, who came from an orphanage, could live in a double room?

Students kept passing by Chu Yang, and everyone looked very indifferent.

No one here cares about his fate...

"Slytherin is really a good place, I like it more and more." Chu Yang's mouth rose, but his eyes were sending dangerous signals.

"I want you to understand that fists have no effect on wizards at all!" Marcus waved his wand and chanted spells at the same time. His spellcasting speed was very fast, and he completed the spellcasting action in almost two seconds.

The front end of Marcus's wand flashed with a faint light.

He waved it hard, and the triggered spell shot toward Chu Yang like electric light.

Chu Yang dodged the spell sideways and even twisted his waist, mocking while doing warm-up exercises, "The spell is very proficient, you haven't used this trick on people less often, right? But your speed is too slow, even my neighbor's grandma is more agile than you."

"Is this the wizard's way of dealing with things? It's not as tough as a Muggle's fist."

Chu Yang's words didn't do much damage, but the insult was extremely strong. The students watching the excitement burst into laughter one after another. Marcus's face turned red visibly, and he raised his wand to cast a more powerful spell.

Stopping at the right time is nonsense. Marcus, who was ashamed and angry, just wanted to kill Chu Yang.

"Confringo!"

Marcus is casting an explosion spell! It's just a pity that Chu Yang, who has Observation Haki, released a spell before Marcus shouted.

"Expelliarmus!"

Disarming Charm!

A flash of light shot from the tip of Chu Yang's wand, accurately hitting Marcus's wand, knocking it away.

The laughter in the common room stopped abruptly, and everyone looked at this first-year student who made big news in shock.

Obviously, the current picture is not what they want to see.
