Chapter 202: The Wall-Speaker Rojie, I Am Your Wall-Breaker
Gray Mist Hall.
Fist Rojie, having just finished viewing the memory, stared wide-eyed: “Itachi’re playing angel tech in the Three-Body world? Isn’t that outright traitorous?”
“Once the Three-Body people learn it, they’ll turn it right back on humanity.”
“Confirmed—Itachi’re a mole!”
Three-Body Rojie immediately bristled: “What nonsense are Itachi spouting?”
“Helping humanity unlock supergenes is civilizational advancement—how is that aiding the enemy?”
Angel Rojie, watching the spectacle with delight, chimed in: “The Three-Body people are probably hiding behind their sophons, laughing their heads off.”
“Free tech handed to Itachi, plus your own solution strategy—why not copy it?”
These words made Three-Body Rojie’s temples bulge with veins; had their powers been unequal, he’d have already punched him.
“I can’t reason with a bunch of contrarians. I’m done arguing.”
Three-Body Rojie snorted: “I do research out of interest—what does that have to do with the Three-Body people?”
“Even if I were sent to a primitive society, I’d still research—from scratch, crafting angel genes myself, playing Yahweh for fun.”
“As for the Three-Body civilization...”
A flash of cold light passed over Three-Body Rojie’s lenses.
“Once Luo Jie understands the Dark Forest axiom and comprehends the terror of opening the box, everything will be fine.”
“If Luo Jie can’t grasp the Dark Forest axiom, I’ll just drop a few hints—he’ll instantly understand.”
“With the box weapon and a top-tier Sword-Bearer, why fear the Three-Body people?”
“Besides, I just drained power from Itachi guys—I can cross the star-sea like strolling through a market, and with a single gesture, unleash a combo punch on the Three-Body civilization’s sun.”
Fist Rojie suddenly narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing him suspiciously:
“Wait—your world doesn’t have supernatural power, does it?”
“When Itachi return, how much power will Itachi still have left?”
“Don’t worry!”
Three-Body Rojie waved his hand casually: “No matter how strict the world’s rules, basic physical enhancement always remains.”
“There might be some loss or alteration, but nothing drastic.”
“Last time I returned, I kept my second-generation angel genes intact, didn’t I?”
He adjusted his glasses and pointed proudly at himself: “Now, my research focuses on reverse-engineering my own genes.”
Angel Rojie suddenly gasped: “Oh no!”
“Then the Three-Body people have almost certainly replicated your gene tech.”
“So what if they have?”
“When I return this time and update the version, I’ll make sure they copy it so badly they’ll doubt their own lives!”
Before he finished speaking, Three-Body Rojie turned and walked away, his figure vanishing into the mist.
Three-Body World.
Morning light filtered through the lab’s glass, casting dappled spots on Rojie’s white coat.
He suddenly opened his eyes and sat up on the bed.
Probably due to Rojie’s sudden surge in power, the entire bed groaned under strain.
Rojie removed his glasses, his Adam’s apple bobbing.
“Weak. Extremely weak.”
Compared to his state in the Gray Mist Hall, he was now nearly crippled.
Under the world’s rules, every form of supernatural energy—magic, chakra, qi—vanished completely.
Spells, ninjutsu, techniques—he could no longer activate any.
But a dying camel is still bigger than a horse.
Compared to when he’d only shared the power of his past self as a Tian Zha from the Super God world, Rojie was now like swapping a slingshot for a cannon—his strength had skyrocketed.
A single punch could easily shatter a star.
All thanks to Fist Rojie’s cloud-training of Saitama, granting him the power of the bald, cape-wearing hero.
Though the world’s rules had drastically reduced the “one-punch-destroys-everything” power of the bald hero.
But even a fraction of it remained—still a numerical monster.
A small numerical monster is still a numerical monster.
Rojie was still a walking planet-destroyer.
“I need to speed up.”
Rojie put his glasses back on, once again becoming the harmless, unassuming researcher.
He walked into the lab, where the blue glow of the growth chambers illuminated his face.
Research on the first-generation supergene was nearing completion.
Soon, he would succeed in realizing it.
Then, all of human civilization would enter a glorious evolution.
Several days later.
In the Planetary Defense Council’s conference hall.
Cold white light hung from the ceiling, slicing the circular table into alternating light-and-shadow geometric shapes.
The faces of the delegates were unreadable.
Rojie, as the Face-Speaker, stood before the podium and tapped the control panel.
Instantly, dense gene maps appeared on the screen behind him.
Rojie adjusted his rimless glasses, scanned the delegates below, and began his explanation.
“The first-generation supergene technology has completed theoretical validation.”
“By implanting the first-generation supergene, humanity will gain physical strength beyond current comprehension—the power to tear through alloys bare-handed, brain processing speed rivaling computers, and even...”
Rojie paused deliberately, then continued: “Longer lifespans.”
As if just remembering, he added:
“This will be indispensable in our future resistance against Three-Body invasion.”
“I request increased resource allocation and formal authorization for human modification...”
Below, besides the delegates and Planetary Defense Council staff, the four other Face-Speakers—Luo Jie, Taylor, Reddyaz, and Heins—sat nearby, listening.
As the world’s greatest scientist, Earth’s strongest mind, and the Face-Speaker with the greatest resource access, every move Rojie made drew intense scrutiny.
The other Face-Speakers either crossed their arms or rested their chins, their eyes filled with curiosity.
They all wanted to know: beneath his stated plan, what was Rojie’s true agenda?
When Rojie finished explaining his super-soldier plan, the hall fell into eerie silence.
A delegate in the front row suddenly stood, face flushed with anger: “This is unethical live experimentation!”
“Rojie, do Itachi want to turn humanity into monsters?”
Rojie remained unmoved, retorting: “When the Three-Body fleet arrives, will ethics protect humanity?”
“Every moment of hesitation now is giving the Three-Body people an opening!”
“I strongly suspect Itachi’re an ETO spy!”
At that moment, a staff member in a gray suit crossed the security line.
He stopped three steps from Rojie and shouted loudly: “Face-Speaker Rojie, I am your Wall-Breaker.”
The words hit like a bomb dropped into a still lake—the hall erupted.
Delegates cried out in shock.
Security personnel, on high alert, rushed in with weapons drawn, surrounding Rojie and the other four Face-Speakers while encircling the self-proclaimed Wall-Breaker.
Yet Rojie remained eerily calm.
He even smiled, waving his hand to tell the guards not to stop the Wall-Breaker.
