Chapter 203: Trisolarans: Biology No Longer Exists

~6 min read 1,093 words

Rojie regarded the man in a suit before him with no trace of emotion, as if watching a clown.

“This will be the final stage of your life—perform this absurd farce well.”

Upon hearing this, the Wallbreaker paused briefly, then calmly smoothed the wrinkles in his suit, the leather of his shoes scraping faintly against the polished floor.

When he raised his head, a flicker of fervor glowed in his eyes: “Professor Rojie, allow me to offer Itachi my highest respect.”

He bowed slightly, hands folded before him, his tone growing even more sincere.

“This is the respect of a human being for Itachi, the greatest scientist the world has ever known.”

“Your achievements in scientific research have long surpassed your era, leaving countless others far behind.”

He let out a soft sigh, a hint of helplessness crossing his face: “I originally did not wish to place Itachi in public disgrace.”

“But I had no chance to speak with Itachi alone, and as the first Wallbreaker, I must set an example for my comrades.”

Rojie’s expression remained unreadable: “Itachi’ve said too much.”

Yet the Wallbreaker’s demeanor grew even more reverent, utterly unfazed by Rojie’s attitude.

“Compared to the other Wallbreakers, Itachi are a far more qualified one—Itachi declared your plan from the very start: to study supergenes and create super-soldiers, actively accelerating human evolution.”

He narrowed his eyes, recalling every detail of the past.

“For a long time, I failed to detect the true plan hidden beneath this one.”

“After all, this was your strongest domain—Itachi are an expert in genetics. Even with the help of the Sophons, I struggled to understand your research.”

“I even believed your true plan was precisely this—announced publicly to deceive us.”

“But soon, with the Sophons’ aid, I discovered one of your genetic studies.”

His voice rose sharply, a spark of excitement flashing in his eyes.

“That study resembled a discarded draft—or perhaps a vision.”

“And the supergene within it far surpassed the first-generation supergene Itachi unveiled.”

“Itachi could say the first-generation supergene was a degraded version of that one—but it was feasible, and even appeared earlier.”

“Your deliberate act of sealing it away ultimately exposed your true intent.”

“Accelerating human evolution was never your real goal.”

Here, the Wallbreaker fell silent, drawing a deep breath.

The entire conference hall fell deathly still; everyone held their breath, awaiting his next words.

Finally, the Wallbreaker spoke.

His voice trembled with excitement.

“Wallbreaker Rojie, your true plan is to create a god!”

“Itachi do not seek to create angels as warriors—Itachi seek to create God Himself.”

“Professor Rojie, Itachi intend to use genetic technology to forge an omniscient, omnipotent God to defeat my Lord.”

“Your plan is absurd.”

“Perhaps because Itachi became a world-famous biologist at fourteen, Itachi have become too reliant on genetic technology.”

“Itachi’ve forgotten that any carbon-based life is helpless before thermal weapons.”

“Even if Itachi could use genetic technology to create a God, He would still be powerless before my Lord’s weapons.”

“Moreover, the supergene Itachi’ve developed is still vastly distant from an omniscient, omnipotent God.”

The Wallbreaker suddenly lowered his voice, his expression turning solemn.

“I can now give Itachi the answer.”

“My Lord… does not care.”

Having spoken these words, he seemed to expend all his strength, collapsing to the floor.

Yet he still stared at Rojie, his eyes filled with anticipation, as if waiting to see his expression—to witness how this great scientist would react after his scheme was exposed.

The atmosphere in the conference hall grew oppressive.

The other four Wallbreakers, having heard it all, fell into silence.

Luo Jie stared in shock at Rojie standing before them all.

Create a god?

This is truly…

“Too radical!”

Taylor clenched his fists, knuckles white, his face etched with disbelief.

He had never imagined Rojie was even more radical than he was.

Reddyaz’s cigar had long gone out, yet he didn’t notice—he stared fixedly at Rojie.

Hines frowned tightly, his gaze locked on his own hands.

The expressions of the national delegates varied wildly.

Some leapt to their feet, angrily demanding: “Rojie, do Itachi intend to become a god?”

Others turned ashen, as if drained of all blood: “His Wallbreaker status must be revoked immediately.”

Rojie appeared detached, deaf to all around him—he turned to the Wallbreaker slumped on the floor.

“Utterly wrong.”

He finally spoke; though his voice was low, it silenced the entire noisy hall instantly.

Everyone involuntarily held their breath.

“I have never concealed my plan, nor do I have any plan to create a god.”

Upon hearing this, the Wallbreaker pushed himself up with trembling hands, barely managing to stand.

A look of disappointment crossed his face.

“Professor Rojie, I never expected Itachi to react this way after being exposed.”

“Too bad—your defense is so feeble, it cannot convince anyone.”

Rojie suddenly let out a quiet laugh, and made no further explanation.

Ordinary words were too powerless.

Physics was the only true language.

Then Rojie vanished from his spot, reappearing before the Wallbreaker, seizing his throat and effortlessly lifting the adult man off the ground.

The Wallbreaker’s legs kicked wildly in the air, his hands futilely scratching at Rojie’s arms, his throat gurgling.

The others reacted with varied expressions.

Most were utterly stunned by this sudden turn.

But in the next instant, their faces were filled only with shock.

The marble floor of the conference hall cracked like a spiderweb, fissures spreading rapidly in all directions.

Before anyone could react, Rojie unleashed his power, carrying the Wallbreaker through the dome and straight into the sky.

Fire erupted around him from air friction, the clouds torn apart by violent shockwaves.

In the blink of an eye, the two had breached the atmosphere and emerged into space.

The Wallbreaker gazed down at the blue Earth beneath him, his consciousness growing dim.

The thin air starved his brain of oxygen; the world before him turned hazy.

Only one thought remained in his mind.

Is this an illusion?

Meanwhile, the Sophon had observed this scene.

Four light-years from the Solar System, in the Centauri system, the chamber fell utterly silent.

The Trisolaran Sovereign and his high officials stared at the image transmitted by the Sophon, all frozen in silence.

The Trisolaran Sovereign asked without expression: “Our scientists’ experimental clones, built from his genetic code, do not possess this power, do they?”

The Science Executive, face filled with despair, trembled uncontrollably: “Impossible—this violates every known…”

His voice faded into a whisper, then dissolved into a despairing murmur: “Biology… does not exist.”
