Chapter 473

Hearing Diantha's words, Shengzai was speechless.

No, what do you mean by trampling on the girls' dreams... He's already a Pokémon, can he still be a scumbag?

After the Theme Performance, the next step is the second round of "Free Performance." This time, besides Serena, those who successfully advanced included Jessie, who used the alias Jessilee, and Serena's rival Shauna, who also entered the second round.

The "Free Performance" of this Anistar City Pokémon Showcase requires Performers to send out two Pokémon and coordinate with the Performer to perform. The one who eventually gains the most support wins.

And after Jessie and Shauna both appeared one after another and achieved good results, Serena also appeared with Braixen and Eevee.

When appearing, Eevee also turned its head to look at the backstage position, with a nervous look on its face.

The little Eevee had always regarded Shengzai as an idol and also believed that its older brother was omnipotent.

But this time it actually attempted to defeat its older brother, which in the little Eevee's view, was simply an impossible thing to do.

And as Eevee's trainer, Serena also noticed Eevee's state at the first moment and comforted it: "It's okay, Eevee, just try your best. I think even if we can't win against Ms. Diantha and her Eevee."

"But if your brother sees you working hard, I think he will definitely approve of you."

"And this time it's not just you; Braixen and I will also work hard with you!"

"Braixen~"

With the encouragement of Serena and Braixen, Eevee finally cheered up, and under the cheering of Ash and the others, it appeared on stage with Serena.

"Braixen, use Flamethrower!"

"Eevee, use Swift!"

Under Serena's direction, Braixen first took a branch from its tail and performed Flamethrower in the air.

And when the flames were in the air, the Swift used by Eevee directly shattered the fire pillar.

Under the collision of the moves, the starlight fragments of Swift and the sparks of Flamethrower instantly reflected each other like snowflakes, falling onto the stage.

Immediately after, Serena, dressed in a gorgeous outfit, appeared under the lights, and together with Eevee and Braixen, who were also dressed up very beautifully, began to dance gracefully on the stage.

At first, Eevee was a bit nervous, but soon, when it saw Serena and Braixen both smiling and encouraging it, it soon gradually enjoyed it and showed the beautiful dance it had by the river before.

At the last moment of the dance, according to the previous rehearsal, Serena would lift Eevee into the air and land gracefully under Braixen's Fire Spin to end the performance.

And just as Eevee was lifted into the air by Serena, bathed in the stage lights, looking at the many audience members cheering for it, its mind couldn't help but conjure up its brother's elegant and powerful posture.

A burst of white light enveloped Eevee's body, and looking at Eevee leaping into the air, now wrapped in the light of evolution, all the audience at the scene, including Serena, showed extremely surprised expressions on their faces.

"Eevee~"

Accompanied by a burst of dazzling white light gradually dissipating, a Pokémon with light pink and deep pink as the main colors, and with tentacles like ribbons, slowly fell from the air.

And the moment Eevee evolved into Sylveon and landed gracefully, the audience at the scene also offered the warmest cheers at this moment and raised the voting sticks in their hands, crazily voting for Serena and Eevee.

The audience voting for the Pokémon Showcase can be repeated.

In other words, every audience member can vote for multiple Performers and their Pokémon they like.

And because of the unexpected performance of Eevee suddenly evolving into Sylveon, Serena's support rate skyrocketed in a short time and surpassed Shauna and Jessie, who had appeared on stage before, in a short time.

Regarding such a change, Serena was both surprised and happy. After all, she hadn't expected Eevee to suddenly evolve into Sylveon and add a lot of points to their performance.

"It's really too surprising. I didn't expect contestant Serena's Eevee to evolve into one of the most beautiful Pokémon, Sylveon, at the moment when the performance was about to end."

"You must know that Eevee's various evolutionary forms all need to meet specific evolutionary conditions."

"And among them, the evolutionary condition for Sylveon is that it needs to have extremely high intimacy with its trainer to evolve."

"Let us thank contestant Serena and Braixen, as well as Eevee... oh no, it's Sylveon, for their wonderful performance."

"In this performance, contestant Serena and her Pokémon not only showed us graceful dance moves but also let us see the deep bond between her and her Pokémon."

It must be said that Pierre, as the resident host of the Pokémon Showcase, has quite a lot of substance in his commentary level and is also quite good at driving the audience's emotions.

"Great, I didn't expect Serena and Eevee's performance this time to be so good."

"I just checked, the support rate Serena and the others obtained this time is almost 80% of all the audience at the scene."

"With this kind of data, even if the opponent is Ms. Diantha, they might not necessarily lose."

Hearing the conversation between Ash and Clemont and the others, Palermo, the "Kalos Queen," who was sitting nearby, also understood that Ash and the others were friends of the girl on stage.

Regarding Serena and Eevee's performance just now, Palermo was also quite optimistic.

So she couldn't help but interject: "If the opponent were someone else, then the girl on stage would basically have locked in the winner of this Anistar City Showcase."

"But since the opponent is Diantha, then we can't take it lightly."

"Although Diantha's Pokémon haven't undergone corresponding performance training, don't forget that as a popular actress, she is originally the most excellent Performer."

As if to verify that what Palermo said was true, soon Pierre, after looking at the contestant list in his hand.

His face also instantly showed an excited expression, and holding the microphone, he said excitedly: "The next contestant to appear, although it is the first time participating in the Pokémon Showcase, is a heavyweight existence."

"Now let us welcome with applause the Kalos League Champion, super popular actress, possessing both beauty and strength, Ms. Diantha, and her Pokémon to perform!"

Accompanied by Pierre's voice falling, the scene of the Anistar City Showcase instantly rang out with extremely huge cheers.

And listening to the deafening cheers from the audience, Ash and the others only then knew how terrifying Ms. Diantha's popularity in the Kalos region was.

Diantha didn't deliberately dress herself up; after all, the white gown she usually appeared in was enough to set off her beautiful and elegant temperament.
