Chapter 474

The two Pokémon Diantha sent out were her ace Gardevoir and Shengzai.

To match the atmosphere of the Pokémon Showcase, Diantha also gave Gardevoir a simple dress-up.

However, when it was Shengzai's turn to be dressed up, Shengzai resisted to the death!

The mainstream of the Pokémon Showcase is to show beauty through performance, so the Pokémon that appear are generally dressed up by trainers to be quite cute and beautiful.

Among many Pokémon, Gardevoir's beauty is not inferior to Sylveon and Milotic.

So just by dressing up a little bit, Diantha's Gardevoir became very dazzling and beautiful.

However, after Diantha dressed up Gardevoir, she seemed to have awakened some strange attribute and actually held a small pink skirt, attempting to make Shengzai wear it.

And the reason given by the other party was also quite sufficient, which was that the Pokémon in the Pokémon Showcase were all dressed like this.

However, no matter how sufficient the reason was, this unreasonable request was naturally resolved by Shengzai in the end.

Just kidding, although he is no longer a human now, he is still a male, okay?

Making him wear a small pink skirt or something, don't even think about it!

Seeing Shengzai resisting more, Diantha became more excited and seduced him by saying that all this was for his sister.

And in human eyes, there is no difference between a male Eevee and a female Eevee; in short, they are all very cute.

In short, although Shengzai is a male Eevee, he can also wear a small pink skirt.

Of course, in the end, no matter how Diantha seduced him, Shengzai didn't take the bait, and he also gave himself a favorable reason for not wearing a skirt.

That was that in the subsequent performance, he would also use evolution, and because the body size would change after evolution, dressing up for the appearance was meaningless.

That's right, letting Diantha participate in the Pokémon Showcase this time was, on one hand, to motivate his sister as a sister-con.

At the same time, it was also to borrow the stage of the Pokémon Showcase to let people in the Kalos region know that the Kalos League Champion is now his, Shengzai's, pooper-scooper, so ordinary small fry shouldn't come to harass him again.

Under the focus of the stage lights, Diantha appeared brilliantly from the air like an action stunt actor.

And following her into the venue was also the elegant and beautiful Gardevoir.

"Eevee, evolve into Glaceon, and use Ice Beam on the stage."

Shengzai, whose body leaped into the air, was wrapped in a burst of white light, and then when the light dissipated, a beautiful Pokémon with a cyan body and ice crystals like a crown on its forehead appeared in front of all the audience.

The blue Ice Beam sprayed from Shengzai's mouth, accompanied by a sudden drop in the surrounding temperature. Under Shengzai's excellent control of the move, an ice castle appeared on the stage almost in an instant.

Accompanied by the beautiful ice crystals falling slowly in the air, Diantha and Gardevoir in the venue began to dance gracefully like performing a duet.

"Eevee, switch form to Umbreon, and use the move 'Moonlight'!"

Diantha, while dancing gracefully in tacit cooperation with Gardevoir in front of the ice castle, gave instructions again to Shengzai, who stood at the top of the castle.

White light enveloped Shengzai's body again, and under the wrapping of the light of evolution, Shengzai's Glaceon posture was also slowly changing.

Until the white light shattered in the end, a mysterious Pokémon with black fur, red eyes, and golden ring patterns on its body appeared at the top of the ice castle.

Accompanied by Shengzai slightly raising his head and looking at the air with his red eyes, the surroundings of the stage instantly fell into darkness, until a phantom-like moon appeared in the mid-air.

The originally crystal-clear ice castle became even more dazzling under the illumination of the moonlight.

The moonlight shone on the ice and produced refraction, which then turned into colorful light, enveloping the entire stage, and this also made Diantha and Gardevoir, who were dancing on the stage, become even more dazzling.

However, just as all the audience at the scene were amazed by the performance of Diantha and Shengzai, and surprised that Shengzai could evolve twice.

Diantha, who was enveloped in light, stretched her hand over her head and smiled: "The performance is not over yet. Umbreon, Mega Evolve!"

On top of the ice castle, Umbreon, looking up at the sky, began to glow as its body was bathed in moonlight.

The golden ring patterns on its body exploded with a burst of dazzling light, and its body was also constantly growing larger.

The night almost instantly enveloped the entire Anistar City Showcase scene. Whether it was the stage lights or the lighting equipment in the hands of the audience, the light seemed to be completely swallowed by the pitch-black darkness.

However, just as the scene fell into panic because of the sudden night, a golden moon slowly emerged in the darkness.

The golden light was like a sword dispelling darkness, not only appearing unusually sacred but also extremely mysterious.

But when the pair of scarlet eyes slowly opened in the night, the audience at the scene was fortunate enough to see under the illumination of the moonlight that it was a mysterious Pokémon that looked like a rabbit, with black fur all over its body, a large number of golden patterns on its body, and three tails.

Its posture was elegant and mysterious, as if it were a monarch in the night—mysterious, beautiful, and powerful!

Its vigorous figure walked in the moonlight, and also pulled the heartstrings of all the audience at the scene.

And when their eyes looked at the figure that seemed to be dancing with the darkness, the audience also seemed to forget the previous fear, and their eyes only had that mysterious and beautiful posture now.

A few minutes later, the darkness around began to recede. When the stage lights were restored, everyone realized in a daze that Diantha had an Eevee in her hand, and everything they had just experienced was like a dream.

Let alone the audience at the scene, even Pierre, as the host, was shocked for a long time after Diantha and Shengzai's performance ended.

Because as the host, he was also standing on the stage just now, so he experienced a wave of 5D special effects at close range, so he could understand how shocking the performance just now was!

"Too amazing!"

"As expected of Ms. Diantha!"

"Was that Umbreon's Mega Evolution? Was everything just now really not an illusion? Why did Ms. Diantha's Eevee change back to its original appearance?"

"Idiot! Haven't you reacted yet? Eevee that can freely change evolutionary forms, do you think there is a second one in the Kalos region?"

"The guardian deity of Lumiose City, that mysterious Eevee in the rumors, has been captured by Ms. Diantha!"

Almost at the same time Diantha bowed to end the performance, the emotions of the audience at the entire Anistar City Showcase scene were instantly ignited as if directly exploded.

The sound of cheers and applause, let alone the Preliminary Round of the Pokémon Showcase, even the Master Class competing for the "Kalos Queen" might not necessarily have such an atmosphere.

Looking at the dazzling Diantha and Shengzai on stage, as well as Gardevoir, even if the audience hadn't started voting yet, Serena knew they had lost this time.
