Chapter 2: Get me drunk, and I'll let you sleep with me

"Putting on an act."

Hearing the cursing behind her, Shen Li didn't say anything; she didn't want to cause trouble.

Shen Li couldn't stand the smell of smoke permeating the enclosed air-conditioned room; the smoke was getting thicker and wouldn't dissipate for a while.

After eating a few bites, she dragged her suitcase and left the shop.

Shen Li walked out the front door, and just as she exited, a group of male college students who had just come from the school basketball court entered through the back door.

"Damn it, those idiots from the Civil Engineering Department actually played dirty during the game. I almost got taken out by them."

"Their main basketball team went to the same high school as Brother Qin before and has always been fighting Brother Qin for the position of boss of the Fourth High School. Last time there was a group fight, that sissy chickened out and ran away himself. Society's Brother Qin got slashed with a knife and didn't even make a sound."

The one wearing the black number 7 jersey was Xie Qin.

Xie Qin was tall, 1.85 meters, and nearly 1.9 meters in his sneakers, standing out from the crowd among his brothers. Xie Qin, who was in the lead, had his hands in his pockets, a lollipop in his mouth, looking lazy, playful, and uninhibited. His slightly raised chin and narrowed, long eyes caught a glimpse of that slender, tall figure in his peripheral vision, and he squinted at her.

Outside, the sun was at its hottest, and Shen Li couldn't help but open an umbrella, dragging her suitcase out of the shop, which just happened to block his line of sight.

The door was built a bit low; every time he came, Xie Qin was used to subconsciously tilting his head.

Seeing who it was, Song Yuewei raised her hand and called him: "Xie Qin, over here."

Xu Zhouyuan: "Brother Qin, want two cans of wheat juice?"

Xie Qin's voice was filled with the coldness of youth: "Whatever."

Seeing Xie Qin arrive, the girls around Song Yuewei all tactfully gave up their seats.

Xie Qin stepped over the long wooden bench and sat beside Song Yuewei. The table was too small for him, so he couldn't stretch his long legs and could only sprawl them out.

Song Yuewei thoughtfully used a plastic menu to fan him. "Did you win the game?"

Xu Zhouyuan: "With Brother Qin there, what championship can't we win?"

Song Yuewei: "It's such a pity. If I hadn't been tied up with the Student Union, I definitely wouldn't have missed your game."

Seeing Xu Zhouyuan come over after ordering, Song Yuewei asked the girl sitting on the other side of Xie Qin to move over a bit.

Xu Zhouyuan took two cans of iced beer and placed them in front of Xie Qin. "You're a real housekeeper, not letting any woman sit next to Brother Qin. Your sense of precaution is quite strict."

Song Yuewei: "I know you and A-Qin are close, so I just thought I'd let you sit together."

"He's pretty good like this."

Someone on the side laughed. "I've lived long enough to see this, Brother Qin. Someone actually saying you're good these days—isn't that just a roundabout way of insulting someone?"

Xie Qin curled his lips and smiled, holding the can of beer with one hand and opening it with a hiss. "Tell me, what's good about me?"

The word 'good' simply didn't fit Xie Qin.

Whether going out to fight, one-on-one or in a group, he fought the fiercest.

No one could outdrink him either.

Once, when teasing the school beauty of the art school, Xie Qin said: "Want to sleep with me? Get me drunk, and I'll let you sleep with me."

Xie Qin didn't get drunk, but that school beauty drank so much she was sent to the hospital by an ambulance.

Skipping classes for puppy love in high school, by the end of the semester, the math teacher saw him and thought he was still a new transfer student.

When they heard someone say he was good, the brothers who were close to him felt it really sounded like an insult, and a pretty nasty one at that.

Song Yuewei really thought about it carefully: "Hmm… your personality is very special, independent. In short, out of all the people I've met, you're the most special one."

Xu Zhouyuan: "Oh my, Brother Qin, do I still need to eat my meal?"

Qiao Lang pointed to his arm. "Look at this praise, I've got goosebumps."

"But you have to be careful, our Brother Qin doesn't like being managed by others."

Xu Zhouyuan: "Exactly, the last one, Wang Yina, damn it, really took herself seriously, trying to manage Brother Qin in everything."

Song Yuewei didn't really want people to mention other names in front of Xie Qin, so she changed the subject and asked Xie Qin: "What are you eating? Is it good?"

Xie Qin: "Candy."

Song Yuewei asked him: "Is there any more? I want some too."

Xie Qin tilted his head, raised his eyebrows slightly, and curled his lips: "Yes. If you want to eat it, when would you ever not be able to?"

As soon as this sentence came out, before the others could recover, the brothers here with Xie Qin, who had accompanied him from high school to Chengde University to study at a vocational college, had already started laughing uncontrollably.

Xu Zhouyuan laughed the loudest. "Hahaha… I'm truly convinced, Brother Qin can drive any kind of dirty car."

When Xie Qin talked dirty, he had a kind of ruffian-like, rogue charm—evil, dissolute, and his laughter was deep and pleasant to hear.

Those with Song Yuewei were all good students from high school with excellent grades. When they realized what he meant, they all lowered their heads, blushing and not saying a word.

Song Yuewei: "Xie Qin, if you do that again, I'm going to ignore you."

"You're so bad."

In order not to let the conversation fall silent, a girl beside Song Yuewei mentioned: "Did you notice that person when you came in just now?"

"Dragging a Chengde University suitcase with your school's emblem on it."

Xu Zhouyuan: "Didn't notice. Why?"

The girls recounted what had just happened, with a bit of embellishment.

Xu Zhouyuan: "Brother Qin, your girlfriend was bullied like that, aren't you going to show some reaction?"

Xie Qin took a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, pulled one out, and threw it into his mouth, but before he could ignite his lighter.

Song Yuewei took the lighter from his hand. Xie Qin raised his eyebrows slightly, glanced at her hand, and Song Yuewei blocked the wind to help him light the cigarette.

Xie Qin exhaled the smoke, which spread and lingered around: "What's her name?"

Just then, the landlady came out of the kitchen to clear the table and saw the student ID card left on the table. ===== CHAPTER 3 =====
