Chapter 494: Treating Everyone Equally

"This is a Yang plot!" He hammered the table hard.

Their goal is to ignite conflict and make Black Feather the target of everyone's arrows.

Now, no matter how Black Feather responds, a large number of people will be offended.

Continue granting privileges to Great Wall Watch? That would cement discrimination and faction‑building, inevitably provoking collective hostility from other forces in the Eastern Great District, possibly even a siege.

Cancel Great Wall Watch's privileges, treat everyone equally? That would not only chill the allies' hearts, sinking previous goodwill and investment, but also make Black Feather appear weak and easy to bully, so who will take their words seriously later? Moreover, allowing all forces to transfer supplies in? The safety zone couldn't bear it, and management would spiral out of control.

Shut the safety zone down completely? That's worse, essentially pushing everyone into opposition, and Black Feather would instantly become a public enemy of all.

The problem lies with Great Wall Watch; the most urgent matters now are: first, locate Wu Ya, and with sincerity have this boss apologize personally. Second, find out how this screenshot spread! Who is the traitor? Who is this No‑Man's Land?

War Wolf took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down.

Rage can't solve the problem; it only lets those in the shadows gloat.

He quickly sent an urgent message to Xin Xue Chuji: "Sister Xue, have you seen the matters of the district and the World Channel? It's our side's slip‑up, someone screenshotting to stir trouble. I'm bringing people over immediately to explain the situation in person and discuss countermeasures. This all stems from our internal management negligence; Great Wall Watch will take responsibility."

After sending, he didn't wait for a reply, immediately posted a command in the faction channel, his tone unprecedentedly stern:

【War Wolf Soul Unfading】: Everyone, cease speaking on any external channels immediately! Violators will be kicked out of the faction! Langya, start an internal sweep now! Find that traitor! Everyone cooperate fully, don't waste time.

【War Wolf Soul Unfading】: Additionally, organize combat squads, stand by at all times. We may have to face the worst‑case scenario.

The faction channel fell silent instantly.

A traitor emerged in our own channel, even roasting allies on the fire; that's more infuriating than an external enemy's provocation.

He closed the noisy channel, preparing to set off for Black Feather's safety zone.

Regardless, he must go himself to apologize to Wu Ya.

Having paid triple the entrance fee, War Wolf stood at the doorway, watching the crowded throng beside him, and suddenly felt bewildered.

So many people… if he honestly queued, how long would he have to wait?

But if he declares his identity outright and demands fast entry, it would only spark a larger outcry against the privileges.

War Wolf stood his ground, nudged forward a few steps by the crowd behind him, unsure what to do, when a private message suddenly arrived.

It was from Wu Ya!

War Wolf, as if he'd grasped a lifeline, hurriedly opened the private message.

【Wu Ya Zuo Fei Ji】: Are your faction's messages being sent in the faction channel?

That question was oddly phrased.

War Wolf was even more confused, but out of trust in Wu Ya, he replied immediately.

【War Wolf Soul Unfading】: Yes, it's the faction channel. Wuya Lao Da, what does that mean?

The message went out, and Wu Ya's reply arrived almost instantly.

【Wu Ya Zuo Fei Ji】: It means your Great Wall Watch faction channel may have been infiltrated.

Cheng Shuili briefly told him about the incident with Potato bro when Black Feather was first founded, and War Wolf felt a chill surge from his feet to the top of his head, his scalp tingling.

There really is such a thing…

No, what's more shocking is that Black Feather was attacked that early… and Wu Ya realized it at the time and dealt with it immediately.

This realization raised War Wolf's assessment of Wu Ya again, while his heart grew heavy.

If Great Wall Watch's channel had long been infiltrated by other forces' spies, then many things they discussed there before…

Wouldn't that mean they were exposed to unknown enemies long ago?

【Wu Ya Zuo Fei Ji】: You needn't worry about the regional channel; the important thing is to handle internal faction matters. I don't want my ally's faction to be a front‑fence stray cat and a back‑fence watchdog.

Isn't that saying their faction channel is riddled with holes…

War Wolf felt deeply pained, but considering Black Feather's safety zone situation, and that Wu Ya personally spoke up so he needn't intervene, he could only give up.

While War Wolf was pondering how to repay Wu Ya's favor this time, Wu Ya sent another message.

【Wu Ya Zuo Fei Ji】: Additionally, your treatment remains unchanged; enter the safety zone as soon as possible.

War Wolf looked at the directive, his eyes slightly hot, his nose tingling, his heart heavy.

Wu Ya… can handle it.

He harshly wiped his face, suppressing the surging emotions, and replied:

【War Wolf Soul Unfading】: Understood. Great kindness needs no thanks, boss, watch our actions from now on.

Cheng Shuili looked at the reply, feeling something was off; after a while she realized that War Wolf had also started calling her 'boss'.

Qin Wen used to call every Wuya Lao Da a 'boss' one after another; during the Chen Huan period, it turned into calling everyone 'boss', even crying and making a fuss (in Cheng Shuili's eyes) to join Black Feather.

War Wolf now is…

Allies are really becoming our own people.

Cheng Shuili lifted her hand to her chin, suddenly feeling a surge of pride.

It turned out she didn't lack charm before; her charm was focused on recruiting junior sisters and brothers, leaving no room to shine, so it was buried.

Look at now~

Truly worthy of her!

But now isn't the time to be smug.

She pushed that little pride back, her gaze returning to the Eastern Great District and the World Channel.

This time the vehicle‑entry privilege to the safety zone isn't just for Great Wall Watch; Great Wall Watch and other Long Guo alliance forces aren't much different, so how could Cheng Shuili open a backdoor for them alone?

All forces that established cooperation with Black Feather early can now enter Black Feather's refuge.

For Cheng Shuili, this is a perfect moment to win hearts; offering a little space can earn a devoted comrade, like War Wolf.

Who wouldn't want it?

As for the outside clamor and attacks…

Cheng Shuili smiled faintly, not taking it to heart, because naturally those who benefit will argue on her behalf.

In the regional channel, the uninhabited realm was still jumping up and down, but the voices of agreement began to show a subtle division.

After arguing for half a day, how come Black Feather doesn't even bother with you?

It's not that only the Great Wall Watch has privileges! How can Yanhuang people also get in?

Haven't you heard of the Long Guo Alliance? All forces within the Long Guo Alliance can enter the Black Feather Refuge; people enter for free, and vehicles only incur a small maintenance fee.

It's true. I'm from the Little Azure Dragon; we've always been in cooperation with Black Feather, and I also count as half a Black Feather member. Please, how could anyone abandon their own people to help you lot, who have no connection whatsoever?
