Chapter 123: Isn't This Just Drawing Me a Pie in the Sky

The divine might of a Main God level is indescribable.

Although Lu Zheng's attributes in every aspect had already surpassed those of a Mid God, facing the suppressive aura of a Main God level, even taking a single step was extremely difficult! Fortunately, he could be considered someone who had weathered great storms, and did not panic simply because the target was powerful.

【Deity: Alex】

【Race: Golden Giant Dragon (Demonicized)】

【Level: ***】

Unsurprisingly, Lu Zheng could not see through the Golden Dragon God's basic attributes.

Looking at that sky-rending demonic Qi, Lu Zheng did not hesitate and had Qilin activate its skill.

Heavenly Official's Blessing!

After infusing one billion mana points, a golden light blossomed from Qilin's body and was cast onto Alex.

In an instant, Alex's originally ferocious visage turned vacant and confused.

The pitch-black in his eyes vanished, revealing golden pupils.

The soul blessing succeeded, achieving purification directly.

Before the effect faded, the Golden Dragon God would remain in a lucid state.

Lu Zheng hurriedly seized the time to say:

"I'm here to help you. I'm now going to expel the demonic Qi from your body—cooperate with me!"

Saying so, he directly had Pixiu mobilize seven billion mana points, forming a platinum-white blade of light that was released toward Alex.

Alex was currently in a demonicized state, and Pixiu's 'Exorcism and Evil Purge' skill was precisely for expelling demonic Qi.

And demonic Qi was the source of power for a demonicized Alex.

Therefore, this skill that directly weakened his own strength made him instinctively want to resist! Lu Zheng decisively had Qilin once more release the 'Heavenly Official's Blessing' skill, formed from one billion mana points.

The demonic Qi in Alex's soul was suppressed and stripped away, and the power belonging to the Dragon God actively resisted the demonic Qi.

The exorcism energy from outside was now welcomed by the Dragon God's body.

Seeing that the 'Blessing' was very effective, Lu Zheng had Pixiu strike with five hundred million mana points, releasing at a frequency of once every two seconds.

This ensured that overall mana points were still slowly recovering, while keeping Alex lucid at the same time.

After accumulating enough five billion mana points, he once again released a 'Exorcism and Evil Purge' skill, expelling the massive demonic Qi from within Alex's body.

All of this expelled demonic Qi was gathered around the ten three-legged demonic toads.

They swallowed this demonic Qi in large mouthfuls, their experience values soaring.

The demonic Qi belonging to the Main God level was of exceedingly high quality.

Just a few minutes of devouring made them all collectively rise by one level.

In merely an hour, the ten three-legged demonic toads had all unexpectedly advanced to level four hundred.

Lu Zheng's current immortal-grade spirit pets were all not high in level; the most powerful was only in the three hundreds.

These ten three-legged demonic toads could be said to be latecomers taking the lead.

Actually, if one were to speak of devouring ability, Taotie was of course the strongest! But it had already reached level five hundred, and absorbing more energy would be a waste.

And the demonic Qi energy of a Main God level—this was an enormously huge resource, and absolutely could not be wasted.

So he could only let these ten three-legged demonic toads have the bargain, letting them eat to their hearts' content! Lu Zheng's strategy of sustained attrition was completely viable.

At first it was somewhat strenuous, but later, as the demonic Qi within Alex's body was continuously depleted, he could even converse with the lucid Golden Dragon God.

"Thank you for your help! It's hard to imagine that the demonic Qi erosion I couldn't resist was actually dispelled by you, who haven't even reached the True God level. I can tell that you and these divine beasts are no ordinary life forms.

Although your levels are still very low, your life potential is all very great.

Your ceilings are at the very least at the Main God level.

Truly astonishing!"

Lu Zheng felt he might be able to learn more information from the mouth of this Main God level deity, so he said with a smile, "Thank you for Your Excellency's praise! I was guided here to help you, but I'm very curious—what kind of enemy could have driven you into demonicization?" Alex revealed a bitter expression.

"What turned me into this state was merely an Evil God of the same level as me, but in that war, I sustained injuries too severe to resist this Evil God's demonic Qi erosion.

After returning to the Dragon's Tomb, I kept trying to heal myself. But ultimately I failed—just ten years passed, and I lost my self-awareness.

Fortunately, I had made a preparation beforehand and sealed myself within the altar.

Only then was I able to hold out until now, waiting for your appearance! Thank you again for saving me!"

Lu Zheng pressed further: "Why did that war break out back then? What was the final outcome?

During this time, I've seen many successors of deities, which means they have all fallen.

I've even seen an Evil God plotting to seize an Orthodox God's divine throne.

What kind of disaster will come next? And how should we respond?

I ask Your Excellency to provide guidance!"

Alex began recounting to Lu Zheng the events of the God-Demon War; the content was not much, and the telling was rather general.

As a Main God, he seemingly did not know the true inside story either.

He had participated in the war back then mainly because his affiliated God King, the Life God King, had issued an order.

The accurate information that could be learned was that all the God Kings had fallen in that battle.

There might be a few surviving Main Gods, but half of them had probably, just like Alex, been reduced to demonicized deities.

Alex's situation was still considered relatively good.

His self-awareness had not been completely devoured.

If the demonic Qi had invaded for too long and his consciousness had been completely worn away, then he would have fully become an Evil God, with no possibility of salvation left.

"The Evil Gods have begun seizing Orthodox Gods' divine thrones, which shows that the Main God level Evil God behind the scenes wants to stop more Orthodox Gods from reviving. At this time, successors of divine thrones should be vigorously cultivated so that these divine thrones can be passed on as soon as possible.

After you help me complete the purification, I will make a trip to the Divine Realm.

If you need my help, once I return from the Divine Realm, you can tell me your requests directly!"

Alex finally added.

Lu Zheng upon hearing, this isn't just painting a big pie for me, right!? He won't fall for that.

He hurriedly said:

"I need the help of Your Excellency the Dragon God now! The Evil God is rampant nowadays; although a True God-level Evil God hasn't descended, it has produced a large number of Demigod-level mutated monsters, requiring sufficient strong power to suppress."

"Hope Your Excellency the Dragon God can have the dragon race help us, together to fight the Evil God!"

Alex, upon hearing, thought briefly, then nodded and said:

"Good! This time, if it weren't for your help, after I break the slope seal, it would be the doom of Dragon Valley! You have saved Dragon Valley, from now on you will be its most honored guest! This is my Golden Reverse Scale, containing my dignity."

"With it, you can command all the dragons in Dragon Valley, including those True God-level dragons!"

【Item: Golden Reverse Scale】

【Effect: Upon activation, can release the Main God aura of the Golden Dragon God; all attributes of gods below Main God level are weakened by 10%; dragons below Main God level unconditionally obey the holder's command】

What a great thing!

Lu Zheng couldn't help but show a look of great joy.

With this, after Alex goes to the Divine Realm, he will be equivalent to the Golden Dragon God!

Not only can he freely take the wealth of Dragon Valley, but all the dragons will have to become his lackeys.

"Thank you, Your Excellency! Next I will wholeheartedly help you purify, so you can ascend soon!"
