Chapter 2136: Fei Kexin

Fei Kexin's resounding words caused an uproar at the scene.

No one expected that the Fei family would change to a new chairman at this critical moment.

And what was even more unexpected was that this new chairman was actually a woman.

You know, even in the United States, the idea of valuing men over women in those big families is extremely serious.

There are so many big families in the United States with assets of over ten billion, and almost no family would hand over the position of leader to a woman.

And, such a young woman.

However, look behind Fei Kexin: the previous head of the family, Fei Shanhai, and the head before him, Fei Jianzhong, were both on the list.

This meant that the young Fei Kexin was not joking with everyone.

With the previous two heads of the family standing for her, she must be the new generation leader of the Fei family.

Everyone was shocked.

They really couldn't understand why the Fei family would make such a decision. At a time like this, even if they needed to find someone to take the blame or find someone to be a shield, there was no need to give away the position of head of the family, right?

If one could become the head of the Fei family, which had assets of nearly one trillion US dollars, after taking such a blame, then probably no one would refuse.

Just when the media reporters were shocked, Fei Kexin went straight to the point and said, "I believe that everyone here should have seen the series of videos exposed on the internet yesterday. I, as well as other members of the Fei family, like all of you, only learned yesterday about the unforgivable crimes committed by Fei Haoyang."

Many people, upon hearing Fei Kexin say they only learned about these things yesterday, immediately felt that Fei Kexin was starting to shift the blame.

A young male reporter said to the people around him, "I bet she will say next that we didn't know anything, that Fei Haoyang's actions were his personal behavior and had nothing to do with us, and that we are also victims, and other such bullshit! Damn it!"

And the audience watching the live broadcast in front of televisions, computers, and mobile phones also had similar thoughts in their hearts.

They had seen too many such behaviors of big families shifting the blame at critical moments.

Therefore, they also expected that the Fei family would definitely use this method to whitewash themselves.

However, no one expected that Fei Kexin would immediately follow up and say with incomparable sincerity, "Although we also just learned about all this last night, for Fei Haoyang's actions, our Fei family still bears an unshirkable major responsibility!"

As soon as Fei Kexin said this, it immediately made the reporters at the scene and the audience watching the live broadcast feel a jolt.

This sentence, "bears an unshirkable major responsibility," was considered extremely rare wording in the eyes of reporters and the audience.

Because, usually when encountering similar situations, even if the big family's attitude toward admitting mistakes was good, they would at most admit a secondary responsibility, such as their own lack of supervision.

It was extremely rare for someone like Fei Kexin to come up and directly put the four words "major responsibility" on herself.

At this time, everyone put away their previous disdain and began to listen attentively to Fei Kexin's subsequent speech.

At this time, Fei Kexin said seriously, "The reason why I say our Fei family bears an unshirkable major responsibility is mainly due to the following aspects;"

"First, the Fei family's education of Fei Haoyang was indeed extremely improper! The Fei family failed to establish a healthy, kind outlook on life, the world, and values for him, causing his personality and style of conduct to move toward extremes, and even bringing such major harm to society. This is the Fei family's fault!"

"Second, the Fei family had great negligence in supervising Fei Haoyang's actions! Fei Haoyang has been doing evil for so many years, and we didn't know about all this until yesterday. This is a clear dereliction of duty and incompetence within the Fei family! If we could have discovered his problems earlier, he wouldn't have been able to harm so many innocent women. So, this point is also the Fei family's fault!" ===== CHAPTER 2137 =====
