Chapter 2137: Breaking and establishing

"One billion US dollars?!"

Fei Kexin's words caused an uproar in the world in an instant.

In third-world countries, the civil compensation attached to a human life is only a few thousand dollars;

In developing countries, it is only tens of thousands to at most hundreds of thousands of dollars.

In developed countries, there are indeed often precedents with high compensation, but tens of millions of dollars is the limit.

Moreover, that kind of compensation as high as tens of millions of dollars is generally fought for by top lawyer teams racking their brains.

Therefore, the victims can only get a small part of it, while a large part almost goes into the lawyers' pockets.

And Fei Kexin opened her mouth and said one billion US dollars each. What kind of concept is this?! It is almost equivalent to giving each victim's family a listed group!

Video data shows that there were at least twenty or more girls who died at the hands of Fei Haoyang.

This meant that the Fei family had to take out at least more than twenty billion US dollars to solve this matter.

This... this can no longer be described as wealthy and imposing.

This is simply sparing no cost and at all costs!

Therefore, at this moment, Fei Kexin's image became exceptionally tall in everyone's eyes.

What kind of courage allows this woman to open her mouth and offer one billion US dollars for each person?!

Moreover, one billion US dollars is enough for any family to live a top-level luxurious life anywhere in the world, and they wouldn't be able to spend it for several generations.

This method of compensation is simply unheard of! And impeccable!

I don't know who started clapping first, so the entire press conference hall was filled with thunderous applause that lasted for a long time!

Fei Haoyang's actions indeed made everyone gnash their teeth, but the attitude Fei Kexin just showed and the solution she proposed also made everyone convinced.

Not shirking any responsibility, not avoiding any sensitive factors, and at the same time sparing no cost to make up for mistakes, Fei Kexin's solution has made it impossible for anyone to find any fault.

Therefore, at this moment, everyone's negative emotions toward the Fei family vanished instantly.

However, Fei Kexin hadn't finished yet.

She waited for a few minutes and didn't wait for the applause to stop, so she could only raise her hand to signal everyone to stop clapping.

After waiting for about a minute, the applause finally stopped gradually.

Fei Kexin continued, "Regarding the payment of this money, we will first communicate fully with the police. After confirming the identity of the victims, we will take the initiative to contact the immediate family members of the victims and pay the compensation to them; if the victims have no immediate family members, we will donate this money to the women and children's rights protection organization in the victim's birthplace. At that time, we will disclose the donation details to the whole society and accept the supervision of the whole society."

When Fei Kexin said this, thunderous applause broke out again in the audience.

So far, everyone hadn't seen any wealthy family handle their own scandal so far beyond expectations.

In the past, those wealthy families, after making mistakes, the first thing they did was to clear their relationship. If they couldn't clear it, they would find a lot of reasons to argue for themselves, or simply pretend to be deaf and dumb and not respond.

However, Fei Kexin's handling of this matter can be called perfect in everyone's eyes, and for all top families, it is a textbook-level crisis public relations.

It's just that the cost of this public relations is really high, starting with compensation of twenty or thirty billion US dollars. Even top tycoons may not necessarily have such courage.

Seeing that everyone praised her solution, Fei Kexin finally breathed a sigh of relief.

She knew that this crisis public relations had succeeded.

Although she represented the Fei family and took most of the responsibility on the Fei family, because her attitude was sincere enough and the plan was reasonable enough, she instead gained the tolerance of the public.

This is what Ye Chen said: finding life in death. ===== CHAPTER 2138 =====
