Chapter 44: You will suffer retribution for offending me!

Kaifeng Prefecture, Heavenly Realm.

Led by the Minister of the Court of Diplomatic Reception, a group of Liao people arrived here.

Looking at these things they had never seen in the Liao Kingdom, their eyes were full of astonishment.

"This lamp, it can actually make the night so bright, it is simply amazing!"

Walking up, Yelu Xi couldn't help but look up.

But just a moment later, he felt a burning pain in his eyes.

"Ah, my eyes!"

Hurriedly covering his eyes, Yelu Xi immediately retreated.

"Envoy, this thing cannot be looked at too much!"

Pulling Yelu Xi, the people from the Court of Diplomatic Reception hurriedly advised.

"Ah hahahaha, I see this thing, I just like it too much!"

Opening his eyes, Yelu Xi, who was shedding tears, explained.

And just at this moment, Yelu Xi looked at the person passing by smoking a cigarette and asked curiously: "What is this?"

"Oh, the envoy is talking about this? This is smoke, it can be used for refreshment!"

Explaining to Yelu Xi, the Minister of the Court of Diplomatic Reception hurriedly took out a pack of cigarettes and handed one to the other party.

Looking at the cigarette with curiosity, the Minister of the Court of Diplomatic Reception helped him light it and said, "It's like this!"

"Hmm?"

Taking a puff, Yelu Xi coughed violently and said, "This thing is truly powerful!"

However, in the following time, Yelu Xi gradually began to get used to it.

And just when the singing and dancing performance began, Yelu Xi was even more surprised and said, "You actually have foreign Hu girls here?"

"Hahahaha, these are all the masterpieces of the Prince Consort!"

Hearing Yelu Xi's words, the Minister of the Court of Diplomatic Reception smiled and explained, but a look of disdain appeared in his eyes.

Because this group of Liao people is truly barbarian enough!

Isn't it just black-haired and green-eyed Hu girls? What's the big deal! The Heavenly Realm also has many women with skin as white as snow!

Thinking of the process of coming to the Heavenly Realm to learn "foreign languages" last time, the Minister of the Court of Diplomatic Reception felt a burst of joy.

Because nothing else, the teaching ability of that group of women was truly breathtaking!

"I like this one, I like this one!"

Pointing at the woman on the stage, light flickered in Yelu Xi's eyes.

"This one probably won't work, because the Prince Consort has never sold these Hu girls to the outside!"

Looking at Yelu Xi, the Minister of the Court of Diplomatic Reception hurriedly explained.

"Could it be that I am the Liao envoy and it still won't work?"

Looking at the Minister of the Court of Diplomatic Reception angrily, Yelu Xi scolded.

"Don't say you are the Liao envoy, even if you were 'born', it wouldn't work!"

Just when Yelu Xi was full of dissatisfaction, a cold voice came from behind.

"Who are you? Actually daring to talk to me like this!"

Looking at Zhang Cheng in anger, Yelu Xi scolded.

"Who am I? You don't even know who I am, then you are talking nonsense!"

Looking at Yelu Xi with disdain, Zhang Cheng turned and walked toward a place not far away.

And just at this moment, Yelu Xi looked at the guards beside him and said, "Stop him!"

Walking up, the sturdy Liao person immediately intended to grab Zhang Cheng.

Turning around, Xiong Jizong stared at the other party without showing any weakness and said, "Come, you try coming up, Grandpa Xiong will hammer you to death immediately!"

"Liao envoy, calm down, calm down, this is the current Emperor's brother-in-law, Prince Consort Zhang Xinzhi, this Heavenly Realm is his!"

Watching Yelu Xi have a conflict with Zhang Cheng, the Minister of the Court of Diplomatic Reception hurriedly explained.

"You are Zhang Cheng?"

Looking at Zhang Cheng not far away, Yelu Xi roared.

"What do you want, Grandpa!"

Turning to look at Yelu Xi, Zhang Cheng stared at him with disdain.

"You actually dare to humiliate me!"

Looking at Zhang Cheng in anger, Yelu Xi roared.

"Clang!"

A knife was thrown from Zhang Cheng's hand and landed directly at Yelu Xi's feet.

Watching this scene, not only was the Minister of the Court of Diplomatic Reception dumbfounded, but even Yelu Xi didn't understand what was going on.

"Come, single combat on the stage, let's hack each other, sign the life-and-death contract immediately, decide the winner, and decide life and death!"

Coming to Yelu Xi, Zhang Cheng drew his saber and stared at him seriously, as if he would make a move at any time.

Facing such a temperamental Zhang Cheng, Yelu Xi was also scared into a cold sweat.

Because usually, when Song people face Liao people, aren't they "sheep"? How could this person's temper be so fierce?

Just when Yelu Xi couldn't get off the stage, the Minister of the Court of Diplomatic Reception on the side hurriedly said, "Prince Consort, this is the Liao envoy!"

"I know, that's why I'm fighting him one-on-one, otherwise I would have used a group attack!"

Looking at Yelu Xi with disdain, Zhang Cheng raised his head arrogantly and said, "Go? Order a coffin, whoever dies goes in!"

After saying this, Zhang Cheng reached out and grabbed Yelu Xi.

And watching Zhang Cheng not look like he was joking, Yelu Xi also panicked.

Because he was just here to discuss tribute, and enjoy a luxurious life, not to fight for his life!

Just as Yelu Xi struggled desperately and pried open Zhang Cheng's hand, he immediately shouted, "Are you Song people all so rude?"

"Damn it, you don't even dare to fight one-on-one, are you still a Khitan!"

Looking at Yelu Xi in anger, Zhang Cheng scolded.

Accompanied by Zhang Cheng's words, the Liao people around revealed looks of disdain one after another.

And watching this scene, Yelu Xi also roared, "Just you wait, tomorrow at court, I will definitely question the etiquette of you Song people, is it true that you want to go to war with my Liao Kingdom!"

Watching Yelu Xi make a fuss and intend to raise the matter to the level of two countries, Zhang Cheng said with disdain, "No, does your Liao Kingdom have no one left? How could you send such a piece of trash!"

Just as Zhang Cheng asked the Liao guards on the side, their expressions were also very dissatisfied.

"Liao envoy, calm down, calm down!"

Pulling the Liao envoy, the Minister of the Court of Diplomatic Reception also hurriedly said, "Prince Consort, don't add fuel to the fire!"

"You will suffer retribution for offending me!"

Pointing at Yelu Xi before him, Zhang Cheng left with disdain.

He thought this Liao envoy had a big temper, but he didn't even dare to sign a life-and-death contract.

If you are afraid of death, don't come to be an envoy!

Inside the Imperial Palace,

The eunuch looked at Zhao Zhen who was reviewing memorials and told him about the Heavenly Realm incident.

And hearing that his brother-in-law was so "brave," Zhao Zhen also had a twitching mouth and said, "He really said that?"

"Yes, Your Majesty, that Yelu Xi was scared so much he didn't dare to move!"

Thinking of the envoy's appearance, the eunuch couldn't help but laugh lightly.

"If everyone in my Great Song was like this, how would the Liao Kingdom dare to be so arrogant!"

Speaking with hatred, a lonely look appeared on Zhao Zhen's face.

However, he didn't know that this wasn't because the Song people were "weak," but because the incompetence of the Great Song made the common people have to restrain their fighting spirit!

"Cousin, you are very angry tonight!"

Looking at Zhang Cheng with curiosity, Situ Yaozu asked.

"Nonsense, can I not be angry? What kind of thing is this, actually daring to jump twice in front of me!"

Patting the table in anger, Zhang Cheng was also full of gloom.

Although the Liao Kingdom is strong, it is not invulnerable. What made him even angrier

Zhang Cheng: Zhao Guangyi, you are truly a damn bastard!

Zhao Kuangyin: Prince of Jin, you are truly a damn bastard!

Zhu Yuanzhang: The God of Chariots at Gaoliang River, bah.
