Chapter 656: Zhang Cheng

King's Landing, Red Keep.

At the tournament grounds, cheers resounded through the clouds.

Having witnessed Zhang Cheng from the North single-handedly topple the Mountain, Gregor Clegane, people were completely crazy.

Walking down from above, Robert looked at Zhang Cheng and immediately embraced him excitedly, "Buddy, I knew you would win! That was awesome! I'm proud of you!"

Looking at Robert's appearance, Zhang Cheng tilted his head and said, "How much did you win? You're so happy!"

"Twenty thousand!"

Looking earnestly at Zhang Cheng, Robert leaned into his ear and said, "Tonight, pick any lady in King's Landing you want! I'm paying!"

Looking at Robert in surprise, Zhang Cheng couldn't help but look at Eddard and say, "You bought in too?"

"Bought a little, not much, but the same as Robert!"

Laughing, Eddard was also very happy. After all, Zhang Cheng had brought them such a big surprise in his first battle; wouldn't he be able to win the tournament championship all the way through?

And just as the three were talking and laughing, Lyanna appeared with a face full of collapse.

Looking at her appearance, Zhang Cheng immediately said, "I can tell, Lyanna definitely bet on the Mountain!"

"Damn it, three thousand gold dragons, do you know how long I need to save for that?"

Speaking with an angry face, Lyanna's face was full of resentment.

Facing Lyanna's words, Eddard and Robert both turned their heads.

However, just at this moment, an attendant walked over and said, "My lord Count, Lord Lannister is looking for you!"

Speaking to Zhang Cheng, the attendant gestured toward the person not far away.

Looking at the person wearing lion armor, Zhang Cheng immediately smiled and said, "I'll go over there first!"

"Be careful, the Lannisters are probably furious!"

Speaking to Zhang Cheng, Robert explained.

Because before the War of the Usurper began, Robert's reputation was actually quite good, possessing the gentlemanliness of a noble and the justice of a knight.

But ever since Lyanna was snatched away by Rhaegar, he had gone completely crazy!

Following the Lannister family member, Zhang Cheng arrived at a box at the tournament.

When he saw the young Tywin, he immediately revealed a smiling expression.

Because the young Tywin had already demonstrated the true methods of a Lannister.

During his father's time, the Westerlands actually had two lion houses, the Lannisters and the Reynes!

The yellow lion and the red lion!

However, Tywin's father was too weak, causing the Lannister family to gradually become a target for bullying.

But Tywin used iron-blooded means to prove one thing: that there was only one lion in the Westerlands, and that was the Lannisters.

As for the Reyne family, they were completely wiped out by him!

This is the source of the famous song on the continent of Westeros, "The Rains of Castamere"!

Looking at Zhang Cheng before him, Tywin sat in his chair and smiled, "Count Count Count Celingen is so brave, why not consider becoming a member of the Kingsguard? I can recommend you to His Majesty!"

Hearing Tywin's words, Zhang Cheng smiled and said, "The Count Count Celingen family is now left with only me, so I'm afraid I cannot serve His Majesty at court!"

Narrowing his eyes, Tywin looked at Zhang Cheng and said, "In your battle with the Mountain, were you sure you would win? You actually bet a full twenty thousand gold dragons!"

"Of course, because I have never lost!"

Looking earnestly at Tywin, Zhang Cheng couldn't help but raise his eyebrows, displaying his youthful vigor to the fullest.

Hearing Zhang Cheng say this, Tywin frowned and said, "Then what if I said I want you to lose a match?"

Looking at Tywin, Zhang Cheng immediately scolded seriously, "As a knight, the Count Count Celingen family follows the motto: 'I am honor.' So, if you want me to throw a match, you have to... pay me a lot more!"

Suddenly hearing Zhang Cheng's words, Tywin and the Lannisters present were dumbfounded.

Because they heard the first half and thought Zhang Cheng would refuse, but they didn't expect this guy to change the subject and actually ask for more money!

"Is there a problem?"

Seeing Tywin and the others not react for a long time, Zhang Cheng immediately became puzzled.

"No, I'm just a bit shocked!"

Raising his hand, Tywin hesitated for a moment, then couldn't help but say, "How much do you want?"

"I want sixty percent of the profits! After all, no one would think the Mountain would lose!"

Looking earnestly at Tywin, Zhang Cheng couldn't help but become serious.

"Too much, and this is very unreasonable!" Staring at Zhang Cheng, Tywin immediately refused.

After all, the Lannister family had money, but they weren't idiots. If Zhang Cheng wanted so much, what would they earn?

However, looking at Tywin, Zhang Cheng said, "I can demonstrate even greater strength!"

"Oh? Is that so?"

Looking at Zhang Cheng with suspicion, Tywin couldn't help but frown.

"In the next melee, I will prove that I am worth this much money!"

Looking earnestly at Tywin, Zhang Cheng couldn't help but smile.

"If you can do it, I can give you forty percent of the profits! However, you must guarantee that there won't be any problems!"

Staring at Zhang Cheng, Tywin became serious.

"Rest assured, I certainly know that a Lannister always pays his debts!"

Revealing a smile, Zhang Cheng turned and walked out of the box, then left gracefully!

Looking at Zhang Cheng's back, Tywin's brother Kevan asked, "Is he worth that much money?"

"Whether he is worth it depends on our prince. If his momentum surpasses Rhaegar's, wouldn't that mean we can earn even more?"

Revealing a smile, Tywin picked up his wine glass and said, "If it weren't for that trash, the Mountain, why would we need to seek cooperation with outsiders!"

Hearing Tywin's words, Kevan also didn't speak.

As someone who had witnessed his big brother pacify the Reyne family with his own eyes when he was young, he knew clearly that Tywin's strategy was something he couldn't compare to!

Leaving the Lannister family, Zhang Cheng was found by Eddard.

Looking at Zhang Cheng, Eddard couldn't help but say, "Did Tywin threaten you?"

"No, on the contrary, I had a very happy chat with him!"

Revealing a smile, Zhang Cheng certainly wouldn't talk about the details of his deal with Tywin.

After all, to him, knightly honor was all nonsense; only gold dragons were things he could see and touch!

However, the only difference was that Zhang Cheng needed to play a few small tricks!

As for who Tywin wanted him to lose to, Zhang Cheng already had a guess: Prince Rhaegar!

But before that, he needed to raise his reputation even higher.

As for losing one tournament match, Zhang Cheng wouldn't care at all. After all, he would personally cut off Rhaegar's neck in the War of the Usurper in the future!

He also wondered if the Targaryen bloodline could enhance his blood magic.

After all, everyone is "of the same source of blood and fire"!

"Next is the group battle, please have the contestants enter!"

"'The Bold' Ser Barristan!"

"Sword of the Morning, Ser Arthur Dayne!"

"Jaime Lannister!"

"Robert Baratheon!"

"Count Rosé von Count Count Celingen!"

"."

Just after the referee above read the names, many people walked into the arena from all directions.

Looking at so many people, Zhang Cheng also couldn't help but look up toward Tywin's direction.

Nodding at Zhang Cheng, Tywin was clearly very concerned about his performance in this match. After all, this involved a business of over a hundred thousand gold dragons!

Putting on his helmet, Zhang Cheng turned his head and smiled at Jaime Lannister beside him.

Looking at Zhang Cheng's gaze, Jaime didn't know why, but he suddenly felt a huge character for "danger" appear on his forehead!
