Chapter 132: Bathroom Fight Battle [Request Subscription]

~7 min read 1,356 words

"Someone found the lion pride's location—Fuli Lao Ye is here!"

An Sheng hurried along the street, barking loudly to ask for the lions' exact position.

"Woof woof woof—"

A slender black dog perched on the eighth-floor windowsill barked loudly to point out the location: three female and one male lion from the tropical continent lay panting heavily beside a truck, as if suffering from heatstroke.

"So they're hiding here?"

An Sheng heard the dog's barks, looked up, waved to it, and signaled that if it had time later, it should report to Bai at the seafood wholesale market.

"Huh?"

The lions lying in the shade, panting, saw a strange creature approaching and growled irritably and hotly, telling the fox to stay away.

But.

"Slap—"

The little fox raised its paw and slapped the male lion's face, whose growl had sounded like a V8 engine.

The male lion, stunned by the pain, lifted its paw to cover its cheek, stung by the fox's blow.

The fox's slap left it dazed—this creature was so tiny, yet it dared hit him?

Seeing this, the female lions, who had been lounging lazily, instantly grew hostile.

"Ying!"

The little fox stood upright, swung its paw in a straight line, and slapped all three female lions across the face.

The three females didn't even react in time—their cheeks were already slapped to the side.

When they finally came to their senses, they instinctively raised their paws to cover their faces, utterly incredulous.

"Roar!"

The male lion snapped back to awareness, spread his powerful arms, his shoulder and back muscles bulging, snarling as he lunged one paw toward the fox.

The little fox darted forward, slipped behind the male lion through its armpit, spun around sharply, hooked its claws around the lion's waist and belly, pulled hard, and lifted the lion clean off the ground in a full-body throw, slamming him into one of the females.

"?"

Seeing the male lion's massive head hurtling down, the three females scrambled to dodge—but the speed of his fall exceeded their reaction time.

"Huh?"

The male lion landed on top of the three females, all four paws in the air, his round belly exposed, his head still hanging with a question mark.

"Ying!"

The little fox shook its head, signaling all four lions to follow—it would take them for a drink first.

The lions from the tropical continent had escaped from the zoo in Xia Country and suffered heatstroke in under twenty minutes.

An Sheng didn't know what to say.

"Mmm"

The four lions, eyes flickering, heads bowed, swayed dizzily behind the little fox, avoiding crowds, winding through alleys until they reached the seafood market.

"Ying ying ying"

An Sheng raised his hand, pointed to the cool water bubbling in the fish tank, and signaled for them to stay put there—he'd be back to collect other wild beasts.

The fish in the tank could be eaten, but the crayfish and abalone the size of faces in the nearby tanks were off-limits.

Otherwise, I'll peel your hides later.

"By the way! Don't even think about running—or even if I have to buy a ticket to the zoo, I'll knock you all down!"

The little fox reminded them before leaving.

In less than five minutes, the little fox returned riding two Xia Beihu tigers, their cheeks swollen, and cradling a unconscious giant python.

For these two tigers, originally Siberian wild ones who crossed the border to become Xia Beihu,

the fox was practically an old neighbor.

The fox was sly, and tasty.

Old neighbors meeting meant the Xia Beihu's mouth was full.

"Huh?"

The male lion nudged the tub full of shrimp, smiling amiably at the Xia Beihu.

The Xia Beihu, cheeks still swollen, blinked, lowered its head, and drank a few sips of cool water to calm its nerves.

Then.

Three leopards, their tails tied together with zip ties and their cheeks swollen like pig heads, were tossed in by the little fox.

The four lions and two tigers stared, murmuring in amazement at the three leopards, their tails bound as one.

Moments later.

A juvenile brown bear, its head swollen like it had been bashed with a club, staggered in carrying two penguins.

Behind them, the little fox dragged a crowbar in its mouth.

The bear panted heavily as it reached the market—the two penguins were too hot to speak.

An Sheng dunked the penguins in icy water, then gave the bear another solid whack on the head, knocking it into a crouching, dazed silence before turning away.

The brown bear had been raised in a cage since birth, its temperament vicious and violent.

Had An Sheng not happened upon an iron bar, he might not have subdued it so easily.

"Woof woof woof—"

An Sheng sprinted across the rooftop to his final destination.

As soon as Fuli Lao Ye arrived, a classic golden retriever, face beaming with flattery, dragged out a metal cage containing a bewildered leopard cat and a rattlesnake sealed in a plastic box.

"Woof—"

The golden retriever, grinning, patted Fuli Lao Ye's shoulder with its paw.

Brother Fox, I got the rattlesnake for you.

And this little leopard cat—could you take it too?

"Is that really okay? Aren't you afraid your owner will pluck all your fur?"

An Sheng glanced at the dazed leopard cat, then looked at the golden retriever with a strange expression.

"Woof woof woof—"

The golden retriever waved it off, explaining to Fuli Lao Ye:

This leopard cat was picked up off the street—it broke three vases, two basins, five plates, scratched its owner's parents, and defecated in its own bed.

The golden retriever had tolerated all that.

But last night, this filthy cat peed right into the owner's bed while they slept, framed the dog, and nearly got its mouth slapped crooked.

Enough was enough—it was time to get rid of it.

"That bad? No problem. Later, it'll meet some good buddies—they'll teach this leopard cat some manners."

An Sheng nodded slightly and agreed to take the leopard cat.

"Woof woof woof—"

The golden retriever, overjoyed, sat on the ground, stood upright on its hind legs, placed its paws together over its chest like a human praying, as if celebrating the departure of a demon.

"No wonder they're the dogs of Xia Dong."

An Sheng muttered, knocked the rattlesnake unconscious with a punch, then grabbed the leopard cat by the nape and walked off.

An Sheng returned to the market, tossed the leopard cat into the pile of leopards, slapped the feigning-dead rattlesnake awake, and threw it over to the python's table.

"Stand at attention! Calm your breath!"

The little fox yipped: "Time is tight, the mission is urgent—I won't waste words. You all will line up orderly and go to the restaurant across the street to act cute and adorable!"

"After you're done, you're free. But if any of you refuse to obey, don't bother going back to the zoo—tonight, you'll sleep in my bed."

"!?"

The wild beasts, hearing that poor performance meant living with the fox, all looked grim.

Especially the two Xia Beihu, who were now terrified.

"Go!"

The little fox's face turned stern, pointed toward the restaurant where Qing and the others were, and watched the beasts trudge over.

"Heh! Half an hour of post-meal exercise—scored a wish point for free."

The little fox grinned, circled around, and slipped into the restaurant's restroom.

But.

When An Sheng returned to the restroom and opened the door beside the window, he saw Yin Pengfei inside, holding a stainless-steel syringe meant for pig injections.

The needle's thickness rivaled that of a ballpoint pen refill.

Yin Pengfei, startled by the door opening and seeing the fox emerge, froze.

The two locked eyes.

Yin Pengfei suddenly smiled, picked up a muzzle and a tie strap from the sink, and said:

"Hey little fox, don't be afraid—Pengfei Brother means no harm. I just want to give you a shot."

"Suck suck suck—"

An Sheng: "."

You're going to give me a shot?

Why don't you try the needle first? Sharpen it first?

"Ying ying ying!"
