Chapter 285: Roommate

~6 min read 1,194 words

“That’s not necessarily true—we haven’t seen each other all summer.”

The petite performer had long hair, her back hair pinned into a bun tied at the nape, two strands of black locks falling to her shoulders; the bangs on either side of her face had a cute princess-cut style. On her pale, delicate face was an expression of fear:

“You don’t know how terrifying Ni Tong is—you know where I’m from. I know them better than anyone. I just hope our sisterly bond never changes.”

As she spoke, the performer looked utterly pitiful, her baby-fat cheeks trembling as if on the verge of tears—making it easy to forget she was a college student and mistake her for a middle-schooler, heartbreakingly vulnerable.

【Sigh. When I first came to school, I saw Mo Mo in sexy lace underwear, posing seductively by the bed while drying her hair. Yu Xueqing and Tang You were giggling in the bathroom and invited me over—I fled overnight to Kongtong Mountain. Three years later, everyone else is straight!—The performer sighed, remembering the past.】

【Wish fulfilled: Friendship corrupted】

“???”

“Besides me, they’re all straight?” The fox opened the flickering wish list, read the newly received wish details, then stared wide-eyed at Yu Xueqing’s roommate:

“Holy shit! Your tree-climbing skill—wasn’t that honed when you were Old Wang?”

As the performer spoke, her tone was utterly natural, and her contempt for Ni Tong was unreserved.

But.

She’s the traitor!

“Hssss”

An Sheng sucked in a sharp breath and quickly turned to Yu Xueqing. “Yu Xueqing, snap out of it! You don’t even know there’s a traitor in this dorm! Sure, the traitor won’t dare speak up for fear of exposure—but fundamentally, she’s against you!”

“Huh? Is Xiao An hungry? Sorry, I don’t have any snacks in my suitcase.”

Just after calming the two pandas, Yu Xueqing heard Xiao An’s call. She paused, then looked at the performer. “Did you pack any snacks in your suitcase? Xiao An says he smells a very strong scent coming from you.”

“Snacks? I didn’t bring any snacks!” The performer glanced at her suitcase. “Inside are ropes, sickles, and whetstones—for climbing.”

“What are you all talking about? It’s sweltering—let’s get back to the dorm and turn on the air conditioning!”

Mo Yiqing dragged two suitcases, with a travel bag stacked on top.

Seeing the performer had escaped danger and was speaking to Yu Xueqing, she called out.

“Ah! Mo Mo! It’s been a whole summer—let’s hug!”

“No.”

“Okay!”

The performer’s eyes lit up at the sight of Mo Yiqing—she wanted to rush over and hug her sister—but Mo Yiqing’s gaze seemed to pierce through everything, and she snapped:

“Hug in thirty-degree weather?”

“I’d break your crisp cookies just by looking at you.”

………

They walked into the shaded dormitory area.

The three headed up to the third floor of the dorm. The new Agricultural Science campus layout was uniform—the dorms were identical to before: downstairs, call the counselor to get the password box key from the dorm supervisor, then return to your room and unpack.

“Ying ying—”

As they walked up the stairs, the performer fixed her gaze on Yu Xueqing’s shoulder and mimicked the Arctic fox’s call to greet Xiao An.

Yu Xueqing frequently posted photos and videos of Xiao An in the dorm group chat.

And during her livestreams, Yu Xueqing always brought him along—the performer wasn’t unfamiliar with An Sheng.

“Nope, don’t touch,” An Sheng replied lazily, waving his paw. “I haven’t even eaten enough. What’s the point of playing?”

Xiao An lifted his tiny paw and slapped the performer’s outstretched hand.

“Wow! Yu Xueqing, look—Xiao An likes me! Didn’t he just say he wants to come home with me?”

Seeing Xiao An’s high interactivity—how he even high-fived her and said “hi”—the performer’s eyes lit up, reaching out to hug the fox on Yu Xueqing’s shoulder.

“Xiao An says you’re not a good person—you never give him anything to eat, and now you want to touch him.”

Yu Xueqing spoke gently, omitting Xiao An’s internal grumble.

For example, the fox call the performer just mimicked was a vulgar insult among fox kin.

“Impossible—look at his little paws, waving so excitedly!”

“He says not to touch you—he says you’re as hairy and clumsy as a mountain kiwi.”

“What?! My sister’s adorable—so many male students pined for me and never got me!” the performer protested.

As they chatted and laughed, they reached the dorm. Mo Yiqing, who had been fumbling for her key, suddenly heard typing from inside. She froze, then twisted the doorknob and pushed the door open.

As the door swung open, cool air from the air conditioner and a scent like incense wafted out.

“Yes yes yes! Fuck! You’re useless too!”

Leaning against the door, a comfortable fabric sofa stood before the bunk bed. A girl sat on it, hugging a baby panda, headphones on, eyes locked on the computer screen displaying a lottery page.

One hand gripped the panda’s paw, placing it over the mouse—betting the national treasure’s lifespan for gold.

“Wang wang wang—”

The baby panda clearly understood Tang You’s words and erupted into a furious barking, as if protesting.

“Holy shit?”

Mo Yiqing stepped in, stunned by the scene, and blurted out an exclamation.

“Huh? You’re finally here? I already set up the computer and cleaned the AC filter…”

Seeing her roommates return, Tang You, who had been sitting cross-legged on the fabric armchair, pulled off her headphones, stepped barefoot onto the tile floor, and strode forward.

“Hssss”

At that moment, both Xiao An and the performer let out a quiet, sharp intake of breath.

Tang You stood up, wearing shorts and a T-shirt—her waist was slender, her thighs and hips plump, her upper body full and rounded.

“No wonder she’s the legendary pear-shaped figure,” the performer muttered under her breath. “So damn commanding.”

“What’s a pear-shaped figure?” An Sheng felt as if something had clouded his vision. He glanced sideways at the performer and let out a soft whimper. “Explain.”

Tang You was very tall—barefoot, she likely stood no less than 1.82 meters.

To An Sheng, she was simply: a big sister with a full chest.

But to the performer, it was different: first praising the pear shape’s elegance, then marveling at its commanding presence.

A pear-shaped figure simply means an upper body slim like normal, while the lower body is noticeably thicker—appearing especially plump and soft, not a term for obesity.

Above this pear shape, Tang You’s chest—resembling Li Yuanbao’s gong drum golden hammer—was like a divine thunderclap.

It nearly made the performer faint from breathlessness.

“Hehe… Xiao Fox!”

Facing her returning roommates, Tang You rushed straight to An Sheng, took his paw, and shook it. “Want some milk cake?”

“Come here—I’ll treat you to milk cake…”

“But you’ve got to help me with a small favor—use your fox’s lucky paw to click the mouse for me.”

“If you get gold or red, I’ll treat you to a full meal!”

While An Sheng was still staring, Tang You quickly scooped him into her arms and dashed toward the computer.

“Come on! My red box! My gold box!”
