Chapter 140: Exorcist: God? That's Also My Target
Constantine's side was just finished, and those agents of Coulson loaded a pile of equipment onto the pickup truck, ready to take it away.
A few seconds later, the original owner of the equipment, Jane Foster, ran over in a hurry.
"What are you doing! These are my things!" Jane wanted to stop them as soon as she came up.
Coulson took a step to the right, blocking in front of her, and said that sentence again, "Ms. Foster, I am S. H. I. E. L. D. agent Coulson."
"I don't care what S. H. I. E. L. D. you are! These are my things!" Jane was anxious. What S. H. I. E. L. D. took away was all her hard work for so many years!
Her colleague Erik, hearing the name S. H. I. E. L. D., quickly stopped Jane. "Let him take it, listen to me."
"How is that possible! Put my things down!"
Although Jane tried her best to stop them, she couldn't beat the thigh, and the things were still moved onto the car bit by bit.
In a panic, Jane saw Constantine's personal items piled to the side and seemed to have found the dawn, running to Constantine.
"Boss! This is your hotel, can't you manage it?!" Jane looked at Constantine pitifully, trying to use her charm to persuade Constantine and get his help.
After all, Constantine's things were left behind, maybe their equipment also had a chance.
Inhale~ Exhale~
A smoke ring was slowly exhaled, and Constantine leaned on the door. "They are a violent organization, how could I have the ability to manage it? However, maybe I can give you a suggestion."
"What suggestion?" Jane asked back with some hope in her heart.
"See that person?" Constantine pointed to Coulson who was directing. "Take a gun and top it on his forehead, maybe he will listen to what you say."
Coulson turned around slowly. "Mr. Constantine, please don't make such a bad joke."
Constantine shrugged. They came up to rob by force, so who was the more vicious one?
Jane was really moved by what Constantine said, but she didn't have a gun. This was a temporary research point, they rented it for a period of time, how could they buy a gun here specifically.
"I... I don't have..." Jane looked at Constantine hopefully, hoping he could give another suggestion.
"Sorry, then I can't help. However, I can return the deposit to you, and today's rent can also not count." Constantine said, moving his things to a small room next to him. This room was the utility room here and was not rented to Jane.
The last method also failed, and Jane could only sit on the side in vain, watching all her things being moved away.
After Coulson took people away, Erik sat beside Jane. "Don't be sad, maybe the data has a backup."
"The backup was also taken away, and the backup of the backup too." Jane looked up at the slowly setting sun, her heart full of sorrow.
"They were quite professional..." another colleague, Darcy, interjected.
"They were quite professional. Erik, why didn't you let me stop them at first?" Jane turned her head and asked.
Erik sighed long. "I once had a friend who was an expert in gamma ray research. Later, S. H. I. E. L. D. found him, and I never saw him again."
Jane was silent for a few seconds. "No, I still can't accept it! I must get my things back!"
"Don't be impulsive. I have a friend I knew before who used to be an agent. Maybe I can send an email to ask for his opinion," Erik continued.
"You still have an agent friend?" Darcy was a bit surprised. After all, astronomy and agents didn't sound like they matched.
"Hmm... he once lurked in my laboratory. Later, because his professional skills were too poor, I wanted to drive him out. Finally, we got to know each other after going back and forth," Erik recalled the past. "He is a pretty good person, and he is a part-time agent without a fixed organization."
"Maybe I can give you another suggestion." Constantine suddenly popped up behind the three.
"What? Boss, do you intend to help us get our things back?!" Jane was first scared...
