Chapter 326, Group Photo (Second Update)
It was a Weibo post by Ye Jiuliang posted a few minutes ago.
It was a photo of her winning the championship at the MZC competition.
There was also a sentence attached to it—Just like this.
Those four blunt words couldn’t be more succinct.
Domineering and flamboyant.
In less than ten minutes, the post’s share count had already broken one million, and the comment section was bustling like a pot of boiling water.
The funniest part was the comments from Xiang Tian and his gang.
Their formation was neat and uniform, each posting only one sentence, "Boss, we’re waiting for the red envelope."
"These money-grubbers." Ye Jiuliang also took out her phone to play with Weibo, and upon seeing the comments from Xiang Tian and the others, she whispered a complaint, "Only thinking about red envelopes."
"Jiuliang, your Weibo followers are skyrocketing. Have you considered switching careers to join the entertainment industry?" Feng Yi invited her with a smile, "The offer from Fengshao Group is very generous."
Ye Jiuliang glanced at him, her smile tinged with sarcasm, "You can go talk to Li Mochan about that."
Feng Yi touched his nose, "Ah, that was just a joke."
Asking her to join the entertainment industry would probably lead to that superficial Li Mochan slapping him to death.
"That said, why did you suddenly decide to go public?" Feng Yi circled back to the main topic, asking with curiosity.
Ye Jiuliang replied, "News leaked from the MZC event, denying it would be pointless."
"Is it because of the hit-and-run incident?" Feng Yi, not one to mess around in the business world, had a quick mind and could guess part of the inside story.
Ye Jiuliang hummed in acknowledgment.
Feng Yi went on to ask, "That incident has already been mostly cleared up on the outside. Aren’t you planning to reveal your relationship with your uncle to the public?"
Ye Jiuliang had sent the middle-aged couple to the police station, with both witnesses and evidence present. Li Mochan had given the order, and all the major newspapers had published the truth at the earliest opportunity. Ye Jiuliang’s allegation of hit-and-run had been cleared.
The only thing left was Ye Jiuliang and Mingchong’s relationship. Not taking advantage of this opportunity to explain would only leave others feeling their relationship was enigmatic, leading to more misunderstandings.
"Jiuliang, you could actually post on Weibo to clarify this matter. Otherwise, there’s too much gossip outside, which isn’t good for either you or Uncle Ming." Jiang Yisheng suggested.
Ye Jiuliang looked towards the direction of the kitchen, her thoughts swiftly turning.
Suddenly, she stood up and walked towards the kitchen.
"Jiuliang, why did you come in? Are you hungry?" Mingchong was washing vegetables when he saw Ye Jiuliang enter, asking with a warm, smiling voice.
Ye Jiuliang walked over to him, shaking her phone, "Uncle, how about a selfie?"
"A selfie?" Mingchong was taken aback.
Ye Jiuliang nodded, "To post on Weibo."
Mingchong regained his composure, wiped his hands, and stood somewhat awkwardly beside her, "Okay."
Seeing his slightly stiff expression, Ye Jiuliang laughed lightly, slipping her arm through his, "Uncle, smile."
Mingchong lowered his gaze to her, his lips quietly curving into a tender, gentle smile.
With a "click," the photo captured the smiles on both their faces.
Ye Jiuliang let go and, while still beside Mingchong, composed a few words and posted on Weibo.
Seeing the content Ye Jiuliang posted on Weibo, Mingchong’s smile nearly reached the heavens.
"Why did you come in here?" Li Mochan, who had gone out with a bowl of soup, came back and saw Ye Jiuliang in the kitchen, thinking she was hungry.
"Would you like some cake first?"
Ye Jiuliang shook her head, stuffed her phone into her pocket, and rolled up her sleeves, "Do you need a hand?"
"No need, it’s almost ready. Go to the living room and have some fruit, let Feng Yi and the others come to get the bowls and utensils." Li Mochan handed her a bowl of blueberries, then pushed her to leave the kitchen.
