Chapter 327, didn’t you say give it a try (third watch)?
While they were noisily enjoying the hotpot, the outside world was already thrown into complete chaos because of the two consecutive Weibo posts from Ye Jiuliang.
The idle troublemaker, Ye Jiuliang, was actually the mysterious Black J, and also the niece of the chairman of the Ming Group. Each of these identities was shocking enough on its own to take one’s breath away.
As dusk fell and the lights began to shine, the oppressive atmosphere at the Ye Family had not dissipated since Ye Jiuliang left.
During dinner, the old Master Ye did not come downstairs to eat.
Xiang Zhen made several trips to the study to plead with him, but he only responded with a lack of appetite.
Ye Yu exited the study with a tray in hand, the food on it untouched.
When she came downstairs, everyone, including Ye Xin, turned to look at her, "Aunt, how did it go?"
"Still not eating. He says he has no appetite," Ye Yu said helplessly as she handed the tray over to a servant to take away.
"It’s all Ye Jiuliang’s fault for going too far, breaking into Grandpa’s study and tearing up his album. She’s completely out of line," Ye Xin cursed.
"Now that she has Mingchong as an uncle, isn’t she going to climb even higher into the sky?"
She simply couldn’t stand Ye Jiuliang, who seemed to have all the good fortune fall into her lap.
"Xinxin, stop talking about it," Ye Lei scolded.
No one had expected that Mingchong would be Ye Jiuliang’s uncle, nor that Ye Jiuliang was also the racecar driver Black J.
Xiang Zhen cast a furtive glance at Ye Yu, her younger sister-in-law always had a soft spot for Ye Jiuliang, but it wasn’t as if Ye Jiuliang had ever done much for her. There must be something fishy going on.

After they finished hotpot and stayed in Mo Garden until after ten, Mingchong finally left reluctantly.
In the bedroom, the wall lamp cast a soft glow.
Ye Jiuliang lay on the bed scrolling through her phone, hoping to find another red motorcycle just like the one she had lost.
Too much time had passed, and the motorcycle, which had been a limited edition to begin with, was now out of production and could not be found on the market.
In the bathroom, the sound of the hairdryer suddenly stopped.
The door opened, and steam billowed out.
Li Mochan walked out in a bathrobe, "What are you looking at?"
He flipped the blanket aside and sat down beside her, his arm wrapping around her and pulling her into his embrace.
"A motorcycle." Her muffled voice carried a hint of frustration.
Li Mochan glanced at the screen of her phone, then took it and casually placed it on the nightstand.
"Why?" Ye Jiuliang looked at him with a puzzled gaze.
Li Mochan leaned in and pecked her lips lightly, "Stop looking. I promise you’ll see that red motorcycle in a few days."
"What do you mean?" Ye Jiuliang’s eyes lit up, and she eagerly pressed for an answer.
Li Mochan smiled mischievously, deliberately teasing her.
"You’ll find out in a few days."
"Tell me now," Ye Jiuliang lifted her hand to hold his neck, leaning into his embrace.
Li Mochan raised an eyebrow, his smile turning more intriguing, "Not sleepy?"
Ye Jiuliang bumped her head against his shoulder, "Scram."
He never acted properly at night.
"You seemed to enjoy chatting with your uncle tonight, hm?" Li Mochan chuckled lowly, his voice tinged with a hint of resentment.
All evening, she had only been engaging with Mingchong, hardly giving him any attention.
Ye Jiuliang looked at him with a smile, "After being jealous of the little brother, are you now jealous of my uncle?"
The hand that Li Mochan had around her waist tightened, pulling her closer into his embrace, his tone growing sourer, "You’ve never posted on Weibo with me."
"Pfft."
Ye Jiuliang burst into laughter.
Did he really have to talk to her in such a woeful tone? He sounded like a wronged little wife.
Clearing her throat teasingly, she played with him, "Just now, uncle said I should stay at his place for a few days when I’m free. Should I go tomorrow?"
"You dare?" Li Mochan’s gaze was heavy as he watched her.
Ye Jiuliang laughed arrogantly, "Why don’t we try?"
"Fine," he said with a cold, slightly hoarse voice.
Ye Jiuliang had a bad feeling and before she could escape, the lights in the bedroom suddenly went out.
It was pitch black, and she couldn’t see her hand in front of her face.
"Li Mochan, your hand..."
"Wolf cub, why hide? Didn’t you say to try?"
"... "
Master Jiu wept bitterly.
She didn’t say to try it like this.
This bastard.

The sky was clear, and a gentle breeze was blowing comfortably.
The photography studio was bustling with activity.
The filming that had been delayed for a few days was finally back on the schedule.
"All right, Mr. Yisheng, take a break. You can change into the next outfit soon," the photographer stood up and checked his camera, speaking in a hearty voice.
"Yisheng, have some water first." Wen Rang came over and handed him a thermos cup.
Jiang Yisheng twisted open the lid of the thermos cup and sipped the tea slowly, the faint fragrance lingering on his lips and teeth.
He spoke softly, "Let’s postpone the meeting until tomorrow. Don’t let the rest of the team wait too long. It’s going to be a while before we finish shooting here."
After finishing his solo shots, they were supposed to shoot with another person, but since he hadn’t heard him come to the studio, he probably wouldn’t be here today, and they’d have to reschedule for another day.
Wen Rang looked at his watch and nodded, "Okay, I’ll go inform them. The assistant is over there; I’ll be back soon."
Jiang Yisheng hummed a response and went to sit on the nearby sofa to rest.
As Wen Rang approached the door, he saw someone coming towards him and his eyes registered a hint of surprise.
Wasn’t it said that he couldn’t make it for today’s shoot?
Having been in the entertainment industry for years, he had developed quick reflexes.
"Mingqian."
Ji Mingqian recognized him as Jiang Yisheng’s agent and nodded slightly.
Chen Xin, seeing Wen Rang, greeted him familiarly; they were from the same circle and ran into each other occasionally. They weren’t close, but they weren’t strangers either.
"Wen, are they shooting inside?"
Wen Rang smiled, "Yisheng is filming inside. You’ve come just in time; it looks like we can proceed with the couple’s shoot as well."
"Mingqian bought drinks for everyone; have one," Chen Xin said.
"Then, I’ll thank Mingqian. I’ll come back later, I need to explain some things first." After saying that, Wen Rang nodded politely to Ji Mingqian and then walked away.
"Boss, you go in first. I’ll distribute the cold drinks with the assistant," Chen Xin said.
Ji Mingqian took off his mask and sunglasses, handed them to her, and walked into the studio with measured steps.
"Mingqian is here."
"Hello, Mingqian."
"Hello, Mingqian."
The studio staff greeted Ji Mingqian warmly as they saw him.
"Mingqian brought drinks and snacks for everyone; come get them, there’s enough for everyone!" Chen Xin’s loud voice was fully utilized at this moment.
After her announcement, a lively crowd gathered around.
Ji Mingqian’s eyes scanned the studio, and his gaze suddenly settled on the figure on the sofa.
He walked over, and upon approaching, he saw the person with headphones on, resting with eyes closed.
Jiang Yisheng, immersed in the music, hadn’t noticed someone approaching; he had drunk too much tea the night before and stayed up writing songs until the wee hours, so he felt a bit groggy this morning.
