What was my name again?

I suppose it doesn’t matter anymore, after all, I already left that life behind.

Now, I dedicate my entire being to serving the Villainess.

Everything else is secondary.

***

A Sociopath, that was the only correct way to describe him.

On Earth, he lived as a quiet observer, one whose days lacked meaning.

Until he found her.

A side character at first, then the final villainess of a cliché fantasy manhwa and thus, his obsession was born.

After a sequence of strange events led to him being hit by a truck.... He died.

But in these type of stories, death was rarely ever the end.

When he opened his eyes again, it was not to heaven nor hell, but to a familiar world, one that had remained only in pages.

But he didn't awaken as the hero, Villain or even a helpful side character.

Instead, he was reborn as a butler, one that died even before the story began, and meant to serve Renelle Ardent.

The woman destined to descend into villainy, to be cast aside by society, and to die beneath the weight of her own obsession.

But this time, she would not stand alone.

He would ensure she stayed alive, and if the story demanded her ruin....

Then he would simply ruin the story first.
