First of all, I'd like to take a day off.

This is the second time I've taken a break; the first was when I finished Volume One.

Taking one day off—this chapter was updated in the early morning hours of the 15th, but updates will resume tomorrow, the 16th, during the day, giving the impression of a formal leave; I scratch my head, since my sleep schedule is still abnormal.

One reason for the break is that I need to integrate the plot.

The entire plot has entered the second half, even approaching the final third; since this isn't a world-hopping, ascension-style progression, the map is largely mapped out, characters have all made their entrances, and what comes next—the clash among heroes—is the hardest part to write.

To write a perfect ending, I must clear my mind and rest, otherwise I won't be able to perform at my best.

Another reason is what everyone jokingly feared before.

My body truly can't hold up anymore.

The prolonged stress, reversed day-night cycle, writing until the early morning—there was one day at five a. m. when I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my heart; I dared not move, sat quietly for a long time before recovering.

I can no longer push my body beyond its limits.

I'm no longer the body I had right after graduation; years of sitting for long hours, deep thinking, have caused me to gain weight uncontrollably, and my spine and wrists now have issues—I could run a half-marathon back then, now I can't even manage five kilometers.

When chatting with friends, they also said: life and health come first.

This break is also to further adjust my sleep schedule.

As for this month's updates, they've mostly been explosive releases.
