Chapter 1816: Passing Information
Many Wahala Tribe Warriors followed Nashadier.
With Henry, the Young Chieftain of the Wahala Tribe, there were many followers; their goal was simple: to drive the French out of Egypt.
"Nashadier, what do we do next?" Henry asked loudly.
Nashadier replied: "Unite all the tribes. The Longyan Army is already fighting the French Army, and what we must do is harass the French troops behind enemy lines."
"Leave them without enough forces to deal with the Longyan Army's offensive!"
Henry nodded: "I have already notified the small tribes attached to the Wahala, and I believe it won't be long before they rendezvous with us."
"What is our next target for attack?"
Nashadier took out a map of the French Colonial Area in Egypt; this map was obtained when he raided Ika.
It was marked in detail with the key locations of the French Colonial Area.
Nashadier's finger landed on a plain, and he nodded, saying in a deep voice: "This is the French Army's grain warehouse."
Henry looked at the spot where Nashadier's finger had landed; the map marked it as a plain.
They now possessed numerous Cavalry, and while they lacked Muskets and Cannon, fighting on a plain offered a huge advantage; if they attacked the plain, it was indeed a good choice for them.
However, the grain warehouse was vital to the French Army and would certainly be heavily guarded.
"Nashadier, have you thought through how to attack?"
"We only have about two thousand troops now; if we attack rashly, it is very likely we will be wiped out."
Nashadier grinned and said: "Henry, look at the map again and see what is nearby."
Henry looked at the map carefully; this grain warehouse was located on a plain, suitable for their attack, and there was nothing else special about it, until his gaze shifted and he saw the tribe stationed nearby.
"Sugela Tribe?"
Nashadier nodded and said: "The latest news is that Shawn has already formed an alliance with the surrounding tribes to resist the French."
"This is good news for us."
"If we join forces with Shawn's alliance, we will have enough troops."
Henry suddenly realized; no wonder Nashadier wanted to attack from here.
"How should we communicate the intelligence to Shawn? Whether they will unite with us is another question."
Nashadier
shook his head: "Don't worry, Shawn's alliance was just established and also needs a victory to build prestige. Moreover, there is a French grain warehouse so close to the Sugela Tribe."
"Like a thorn stuck in the flesh, wouldn't Shawn want to pull it out?"
"No one wants to feel uneasy when they sleep."
Henry pondered for a moment and nodded; what Nashadier said made a lot of sense.
This grain warehouse was too close to Shawn, and since both were on the plain with no defenses to hold, the French grain warehouse here was like a thorn, deeply embedded in Shawn's flesh.
It made him afraid to move, yet he had no choice but to move.
He certainly wanted to pull this thorn out. Henry asked again: "But how should we negotiate with him?"
"Ever since you raided Ika last time, the entire French Colonial Area has entered a state of high alert."
"Now, communication between regions is not allowed at all; we can't just fight our way there, can we?"
Nashadier glanced at Henry and smiled faintly: "Naturally not, I have a better Method."
Henry looked at the newspaper Nashadier took out, his brow furrowed and then smoothed out.
Newspapers were not like other merchants; the French government also needed the post to tell everyone their orders.
Therefore, newspapers were the best way to pass on information, bar none.
That afternoon, Nashadier, in simple disguise, came to a newspaper office.
The owner of this newspaper office was a French man; because he had a permit issued by the French, he could publish news, and his newspapers also needed to be distributed across regions.
But in fact, his wife was Longyan, and for various reasons, this French man eventually maintained a fairly good relationship with the Longyan, and even had cooperation with the Longyan regarding intelligence.
"Respected Mr. Yalabahan, hello." Nashadier leaned forward and smiled.
The man called Yalabahan smiled and returned the gesture; Nashadier revealed the sword at his waist, manufactured by the Longyan.
Seeing the unique Longyan mark on the hilt, he immediately understood the visitor's identity.
"Please follow me." Yalabahan calmly led Nashadier to the second floor.
No one felt anything unusual; they all thought Nashadier was a good friend of Yalabahan, as only good friends of Yalabahan were brought up to the second floor when they visited.
They had already seen this happen many times and did not
find it strange.
After going up, Yalabahan closed the door tightly, looked at Nashadier, and asked:
"Sir, you have come to see me; what is the matter, and what can I help you with?"
Nashadier got straight to the point: "I have a piece of information that needs to be passed on to Shawn of the Sugela Tribe for me."
"What information?"
Nashadier took out a folded note and handed it to Yalabahan.
"Please."
Yalabahan looked at the note and nodded slightly: "As you wish."
Nashadier stood up, bowed slightly, and turned to leave.
By the next day.
The newspaper office established by Yalabahan had indeed delivered this information to the Sugela Tribe.
The whole process went without any accidents.
But if things were to go without accidents, there would still be an accident.
Shawn did not have the habit of reading newspapers; after Ailina received that newspaper, she just placed it on the table.
Shawn hurried out that day.
He needed to prepare for what was coming; there was a French granary near his territory, and it was far too close to the Shawn Tribe.
A large number of French Soldiers were stockpiled there, which made him unable to eat or sleep in peace.
He racked his brains trying to find a way to eradicate this French granary, but they did not have enough military strength.
Moreover, the defenses there were extremely strict.
To control them from rebelling, the French strictly regulated iron and horses; the Shawn Tribe could not even scrape together a single unit of thirty Cavalry.
This made Shawn very annoyed.
Arriving at the conference room, the tribal chiefs who had formed an alliance with Shawn were already waiting there.
They looked at Shawn, their tone carrying a hint of surprise: "Shawn, are we really going to make a move?"
"With their help, there will absolutely be no problems."
Shawn was taken aback, not understanding what they were talking about: "What are you talking about?"
"We don't even have any Cavalry, how can we fight the French troops?"
The group was stunned; they took out a piece of paper, placed it in front of Shawn, and pointed at the content on it: "Wasn't this news meant for you?"
"I have to say, doing this is truly too reckless; the French will definitely notice, but it doesn't matter anymore."
"In my opinion, we should act now and catch the enemy off guard!"
Shawn was stunned; he took the newspaper and looked at the content on it: According to reliable sources, the French granary may face a major attack, and experts point out...
