Chapter 558

~3 min read 564 words

Locke's movements were agile, his moves were sharp, and every move made the pirates have to retreat. Kaido was immensely strong, and every punch and kick could knock the pirates down.

The pirates were gradually suppressed by Locke and Kaido and began to flee. Locke and Kaido did not pursue them but walked toward the two girls, asking if they needed help.

The girls looked at Locke and Kaido gratefully, saying they needed to go home but were worried that the pirates would cause trouble again. Locke and Kaido decided to escort the girls home; they were very careful and cautious along the way and did not encounter any more trouble.

After sending the girls home, Locke and Kaido returned to the tavern. They sat down, had a drink, and began to talk about the battle just now.

"Those pirates are really abominable!" Locke said indignantly, "Why do they bully innocent girls?"

"Yeah, these people really have no conscience," Kaido also expressed indignation.

Locke pondered for a while and then said, "Maybe we should educate these pirates and let them know what justice is."

Kaido nodded in agreement. The two decided to find those pirates and give them a good education.

They soon found those pirates; these pirates were a bit scared when they saw Locke and Kaido. However, Locke and Kaido did not attack but began to talk to them.

"Why did you bully those two girls?" Locke asked.

"We just wanted to tease them," one of the pirates replied in a low voice.

"Tease them?" Kaido asked rhetorically, "Do you know that this is hurting the girls, and it is immoral?"

"We didn't think that much," another pirate said.

"Then you should think," Locke said, "You are pirates, but you should also have a conscience and morality."

Locke and Kaido's words made those pirates feel a bit guilty, and they began to reflect on their behavior. However, one of the pirates suddenly drew his sword and rushed toward Locke and Kaido.

Locke and Kaido reacted quickly; they dodged the pirate's attack and began a fierce battle with the pirates. The pirates were frightened by the strength of Locke and Kaido; they did not dare to approach rashly but tried to attack the two with long-range weapons.

Locke and Kaido soon discovered that one of the pirates was the key to this battle; his attacks were the most vicious, and his reaction speed was also very fast. Locke decided to attack him first, and Kaido provided cover for him.

Locke rushed toward that pirate; his speed was extremely fast, making it difficult for people to see his movements clearly.

That pirate did not expect Locke's attack to be so fast, and his defense was easily broken by Locke. Locke punched that pirate in the chest, and his body flew backward and fell to the ground.

The other pirates saw one of their comrades defeated and began to panic. Locke and Kaido took the opportunity to launch an attack; they coordinated tacitly and defeated the remaining pirates one by one.

After the battle, Locke and Kaido returned to the tavern. They sat down and began to talk about this battle.

"That pirate's reaction speed was really too fast," Locke said, "If it weren't for him, we might not have had so much trouble."

"Yeah, we need to be more careful and cautious," Kaido agreed.
