Chapter 595

When Locke arrived at the hotel, he found the sign read "No Entry." He looked around and found no one lingering nearby. He came to the door, took a deep breath, and boldly began to smash the sign.

Suddenly, the door was pushed open, and a tall, middle-aged man stood at the entrance, clearly the owner of the hotel. He looked at Locke, brows locked, "Who are you? Why are you smashing my sign?"

Locke did not show weakness, looking straight into the owner's eyes. "I came to bring you a gift. Seeing your sign said 'No Entry,' I thought, should I smash the door to deliver the gift?"

The owner frowned and did not speak. Seeing the gift box in Locke's hand, he felt a bit curious and let him in.

When Locke entered the hotel, he saw people noisily drinking. It seemed the guests here were all rude and ignorant, and the owner was not a kind-hearted person.

Locke took out the gift box and handed it to the owner. "This is a gift for you; I hope you like it."

The owner did not expect anyone to give him a gift and was a bit surprised. He opened the gift box, which contained a card and a bottle of high-end red wine. The card read: "You are a very capable hotel owner, but your wine is not good enough. This is a bottle of the finest red wine; let you have a taste."

The owner looked at the card, then at Locke, and his attitude began to change. He realized his wine was indeed not good, but this young man had a good eye.

"Thank you, young man," the owner thanked him.

"You're welcome, I just hope you can improve your wine," Locke said, walking to the door to leave.

When Locke returned to Denzel's place, a group of people were waiting for him. Denzel saw him and smiled, "Did you complete the task?"

"Yes, but I think I did some other things," Locke said. "I gave a bottle of top-tier red wine to that hotel owner to let him improve his wine quality."

Denzel and the others looked at him in surprise; clearly, no one expected him to do that. But they also realized this might be a good idea. They couldn't just rob and loot; they needed to find better solutions.

As the Denzel brothers' reputation grew, their business got better and better. Many pirates began to trade there, including a part of the Luo Jie Pirates. Locke found that this was indeed a good place; if he could go deeper, he might discover more opportunities.

So he decided, as before, to use various means to contact the people around the Denzel brothers and look for opportunities.

One day, he met the first mate of the Luo Jie Pirates, the Dark King, Lei Li, at the pier.

This was an extremely dangerous opponent, and he only showed interest in those who were truly powerful. But Locke still decided to try and approach this legendary first mate.

He followed behind him and saw him walk to the entrance of a tavern. Locke hesitated at the door, thought for a moment, and then followed him inside. The tavern was filled with smoke, and hoarse voices and loud calls for help rang out constantly.

The Dark King, Lei Li, sat at a table in the corner, with many pirates gathered around him, drinking and chatting. Locke pulled up a chair and sat opposite him, hoping to impress this legendary first mate with his wisdom and courage.
