Chapter 607

~3 min read 505 words

"Yes, we succeeded," Marco said with a smile. "This is our team's victory."

Locke and Marco shook hands to celebrate their victory; they knew what this battle meant. They proved their strength and showed their team's tacit understanding and collaborative ability.

Locke and his team successfully defeated Blackbeard, but this did not mean their mission was completed. Blackbeard left behind many problems and dangers that needed Locke and his team to resolve and handle.

"Now we need to judge Blackbeard," Locke said. "We need 427 to make him pay the price for his crimes."

"Then how should we judge him?" Marco asked. "We have no court and no judge."

"We can establish a court ourselves and conduct a fair trial," Locke proposed. "We can invite some independent observers to supervise the trial process to ensure its fairness."

"Good idea," Whitebeard agreed. "We need to make Blackbeard responsible for his crimes."

Thus, Locke and his team began the process of judging Blackbeard. They established a simple court on a desolate island and invited some independent observers to supervise the trial process. Blackbeard was brought to the court, facing Locke and his team.

"Blackbeard, you are accused of committing multiple crimes, including murder, terrorism, and disturbing the peace," Locke said. "Do you have any defense?"

Blackbeard was silent for a while, then spoke: "I admit I committed these crimes, but I did it to realize my goals."

"What is your goal?" Locke asked.

"I want to break the balance of the world and create a new order," Blackbeard said. "I believe that only through destruction can new things be created."

"Your idea is wrong, Blackbeard," Locke said. "Your actions will only bring pain and disaster to humanity and the world."

"You can disagree with my point of view, but you cannot deny my strength," Blackbeard said. "I have the ability to control the power of the Dark-Dark Fruit; I can create endless darkness."

"Your strength is not invincible, Blackbeard," Locke said. "We have already proven that unity and faith are the powers to overcome darkness."

"Then how do you intend to punish me?" Blackbeard asked.

"We will make you pay the price for your crimes," Locke said. "I will judge you and determine your sentence."

Locke began to judge Blackbeard; he listened to all the witness testimonies and evidence and finally made a verdict: "Blackbeard, you have committed multiple crimes; you will be sentenced to life imprisonment."

Blackbeard did not resist; he was taken to a remote island and imprisoned in a specially made cell. He was deprived of his power and could not use the Dark-Dark Fruit.

"Blackbeard has been imprisoned; this has brought peace to humanity and the world," Locke said. "But we still need to handle the dangers he left behind."

"Are you referring to the Dark-Dark Fruit?" Marco asked.

"Yes, the Dark-Dark Fruit is a very dangerous Imperial Tool; it must be destroyed," Locke said.

On the remote island where Blackbeard was imprisoned, Locke brought Whitebeard and the Phoenix to an ancient temple.
