Chapter 1151

Seeing Su Xinghui's solemn face, President Cai quickly said, "Town Mayor Su, you must not treat me as an outsider."

Su Xinghui said, "You tell your Director Zhang that this loan must not be granted."

President Cai was shocked, "You mean they have problems?"

Su Xinghui said, "It cannot be said for sure what problems they have now. However, if you believe me, you can tell your Director Zhang like this."

President Cai said, "But this is something Provincial Governor Tian personally greeted. If this loan is not granted, will it offend Provincial Governor Tian?"

Su Xinghui said, "This is easy. You let Director Zhang not say that he won't grant the loan, just drag this loan out. If he drags it out for ten days or half a month, there should be a result."

President Cai pondered for a long time and nodded, "I'll listen to you. However, can you reveal to me what exactly is going on? Could it be that their electrolytic aluminum plant project is going to have some problems?"

Su Xinghui said, "President Cai, believe me, knowing too much now is not good for you. As long as you stop this loan and let your provincial branch avoid losses, you might be a great achievement by then."

President Cai's eyes froze, and he nodded, "I know. Come, let me toast you again!"

On Sunday afternoon, Su Xinghui returned to Pengjiawanzhen in advance. As soon as he arrived in Pengjiawanzhen, he found Mi Xiuyuan and Xie Junqiang and invited them to eat at the Chaochao Restaurant.

After the two arrived, Su Xinghui let the waiter serve wine and dishes, filled their wine glasses, raised his own wine glass and said, "Come, President Mi, President Xie, I invited you to dinner today because I have something to ask for your help."

Mi Xiuyuan and Xie Junqiang looked at each other. Su Xinghui's solemnity made them feel that today was a bit unusual.

The two raised their wine glasses together and drank this glass of wine with Su Xinghui. Mi Xiuyuan said, "Town Mayor Su, if you have anything, just say it. As long as it's a favor we can help with, we definitely won't refuse."

Su Xinghui took out a document. This document was an introduction to some situations of Hong Kong Global International Investment Co., Ltd., including photocopies of their various certificates and photocopies of the identity documents of Qu Chengan, Julie, and others. He handed it to Mi Xiuyuan and said, "President Mi, you guys take a look at this first."

The two finished reading the document quickly. They looked at each other, and Mi Xiuyuan asked, "Town Mayor Su, is this the company that is preparing to invest in an electrolytic aluminum plant in Shangjun County recently?"

Su Xinghui nodded, "Yes, it's them. I hope you two can help me check their background."

Xie Junqiang said, "This is easy. Do they have any problems?"

Su Xinghui said, "I feel they are a bit wrong. They said they were investing in Shangjun County, but now not only has the investment capital not arrived, but they have started fundraising in Shangjun County and are preparing to apply for a loan in our province. I suspect this is a scam, so I want to ask you two to help us investigate their background."

Mi Xiuyuan said, "I haven't heard of this company's name. However, there are quite a few invisible rich people in Hong Kong, and there are also companies that specialize in helping people manage assets, so it doesn't necessarily mean they are a scam. However, Town Mayor Su's suspicion is also reasonable. I think from their style of doing things, it is more likely that this is a scam."

Xie Junqiang also nodded, "Xiuyuan is right. From their style of doing things, it is more likely that this is a scam, and it is a typical Ponzi scheme."

Su Xinghui asked, "Then how long will it take for you to get the results?"

Mi Xiuyuan said, "We will fax this document back tonight. It should be out in two or three days."

Su Xinghui nodded, "Then I'll leave this matter to you two. I hope to get the results as soon as possible."
