Chapter 3061

"In addition to this stadium, Yinshan County is also preparing to build an indoor stadium, because the city plans to hold a comprehensive sports meeting for the whole city regularly in the future. The first sports meeting will be held in three to five years, and Yinshan County strives to bid for the first Baozhou City Sports Meeting."

Wang Jialiang suddenly became interested: "County Magistrate Xing, what you said is true? Baozhou City also plans to hold a comprehensive sports meeting for the whole city?"

Xing Guodong said, "Yes, this was proposed by Mayor Su."

Wang Jialiang looked at Su Xinghui. Su Xinghui nodded and said, "The city does have this plan, preparing to hold a city-wide sports meeting, and it will be kept as a tradition, held every two years in the future, with each county and district taking turns to be the host. I think holding such a sports meeting can allow the people of Baozhou to improve their awareness of national fitness, cultivate their competitive awareness, and make them full of vigor. This is also beneficial to improving work enthusiasm and efficiency."

Wang Jialiang nodded and said, "Mayor Su, this idea of yours is very good. I hope that this idea of yours can be successful. Vice Governor Wang, you must vigorously support Mayor Su's idea."

Wang Guoxiong nodded and smiled, "That's for sure. This is also my duty. If Baozhou City's sports meeting is held successfully, this experience can also be promoted to the whole province. This is also the responsibility of a national fitness pilot city, which is to provide successful experience for other places. Of course, I don't hope that Baozhou provides failed lessons for other places."

Wang Guoxiong's words made everyone laugh.

Xing Guodong said, "Vice Governor Wang, I think it will definitely be successful. Mayor Su has really spent a lot of energy in this regard. Now our whole county's awareness of national fitness has also been greatly improved. This year, our whole county held a comprehensive sports meeting."

Wang Guoxiong said, "Is that so? What kind of events are there?"

Xing Guodong said, "Mainly some competition events that the masses love to see and hear, such as basketball, football, badminton, table tennis, and some track and field events. This sports meeting was held very successfully, and each delegation played to their level."

Ma Changeng smiled and said, "County Magistrate Xing himself also participated in the competition."

This made Wang Guoxiong and Wang Jialiang even more interested. They both asked Xing Guodong what events he participated in. Xing Guodong said, "It's embarrassing to say, I'm not young anymore, and I can't compete with young people, so I signed up for table tennis, but I didn't even make it out of the group stage. It was purely about participation."

Xing Guodong not even making it out of the group stage made Wang Guoxiong and Wang Jialiang a bit surprised, because he is a county magistrate. Generally speaking, his opponents would always let him win a bit. If Xing Guodong finally won the championship, they wouldn't be surprised, but not even being able to make it out of the group stage made them a bit surprised.

However, such things certainly cannot be asked in public. Wang Jialiang said, "That shows that the competitive level in your county is still very high. However, the spirit of sports is originally about participation. You, as a county magistrate, being able to take the lead, this is already not easy."

Wang Guoxiong nodded and said, "Hmm, such a sports meeting is very meaningful. I hope you can persist."

Xing Guodong said, "We will definitely persist. Please rest assured, Vice Governor Wang."

Yinshan County's current situation and future planning for national fitness made Wang Jialiang and the research group very satisfied. Wang Jialiang let several members of the research group go to other communities in the county to conduct research, and he went to the townships below with Su Xinghui and the others to conduct research on the implementation of the village-level reading room work.

Su Xinghui then let Xing Guodong take them to Niutouyu in Funiu Township. That is the village with the best construction in Yinshan County, and it is also Yinshan County's model village. The places the research group can go to in a county are also limited. Of course, they must present the best side to the research group. This is also an understandable way of doing things.

Wang Guoxiong was also a bit curious. He came to Niutouyu in February. What changes does Niutouyu have now?

When the motorcade arrived at Funiu Township, the eyes of Wang Guoxiong and Wang Jialiang were attracted by the Funiu Township Public Welfare School, which is in the most prominent position. They let the motorcade stop, got out of the car, and looked at this public welfare school.

The Funiu Township Public Welfare School has not been completely built yet. Now the completed ones are two teaching buildings, as well as a track and field field and several basketball courts. The other buildings are still under construction, but the two completed teaching buildings can already be put into use.

Wang Guoxiong and Wang Jialiang walked into the gate of Funiu Township Public Welfare School. As soon as they entered the school gate, they heard the sound of reading coming from the two teaching buildings. Wang Guoxiong said, "Is this the school where I came to attend the foundation-laying ceremony in February? Built so fast? Now it's already put into use?"
