Chapter 985

On the 25th day of the twelfth lunar month, the approval procedures for the Changjiangdaqiao project between Shangjun County and Xinhe County were finally completed, which made everyone from Yulin and Qingyang who came to run the project happy. Unexpectedly, such a big project was really run down in such a short time.

Of course, they would not be arrogant enough to think that this was their credit. They all knew that this was the result of Su Xinghui's previous work. They were all full of gratitude to Su Xinghui. You must know that once this project is run down, it is a thick political achievement for them, which is equivalent to Su Xinghui giving it to them for nothing.

Su Xinghui was not happy for too long. He was very sober. On the day the project was successfully approved, he went to the World Bank's office in China with Chen Hongfu and Xinhe County Mayor Zhang Lianxi, met Mr. Hackett, and formally submitted the loan application report to him.

Hackett was very enthusiastic to them. After reading their project approval report and loan approval report, he immediately stated that he would start the loan project evaluation procedure after the Spring Festival.

Chen Hongfu and Zhang Lianxi were full of awe for the big brand of the World Bank, especially when facing Hackett, a foreigner. They felt they didn't know how to say a word. Seeing Su Xinghui talking freely with Hackett, they felt they didn't recognize Su Xinghui.

Chen Hongfu was especially happy. He was now the Executive Vice County Mayor of Shangjun County, and County Mayor Jia Hequn had just had an accident, and the position of County Mayor was vacant. Chen Hongfu wanted to directly succeed as County Mayor, but his qualifications were slightly insufficient. And this Changjiangdaqiao project was a big political achievement for him. Maybe with this project, he could be specially promoted to County Mayor by his superiors.

You must know that three years ago, he was only a township party secretary, and now he actually had the opportunity to sit on the throne of the county mayor. How could he not be happy? He was extremely fortunate that he knew Su Xinghui. It was precisely after knowing Su Xinghui that his official career entered a fast-rising channel.
