1181. Chapter 1181 Lao Ma's Concern 5

My cough is terrible—I can't even finish a sentence without coughing, and even when I try to sleep, lying in bed brings no relief; I just keep coughing, coughing, it's driving me mad. If I weren't bothered, the others in the dorm would be too, coughing cough cough every night, seriously interfering with their rest.

Especially when I want to sleep, she just gives me a bout of coughing—cough, cough, cough—making it impossible to get any rest. Fortunately, Shangguan Yun is keeping me company; when I can't sleep, I message him, which makes me feel less lonely and lonely.

After finishing my meal and washing up, I crawled into bed. The weather had turned cold, and there was no heating or air conditioning at home, so I had to get into bed early to sleep.

I held a book, waiting for Shangguan Yun's call……

……………………

They say, a golden nest, a silver nest—nothing beats one's own straw hut……

That saying is absolutely true—at home, once I fall asleep, I really sleep soundly and well.

Now I start missing Shangguan Yun's bed again—his bed is definitely more comfortable to sleep on than mine.

Besides, his bed carries his scent, and more importantly, Shangguan Yun himself will surely be on it, so I could snuggle into his arms to sleep, and then I wouldn't feel cold.

Sleeping alone, my hands and feet are still ice cold……

The next morning when I woke up, my cough seemed to have gotten worse……

Moreover, I didn't wake up until noon; I lay in bed, weakly staring at the ceiling, then coughed hard—coughing myself to death……

The blankets are warm; honestly, I really don't want to get up. But the moment I throw off the covers, the cold outside wind rushes straight onto me—so cold, so cold.

"Xuanxuan, Xuanxuan..." At that moment, Lao Ma outside started calling.

"Mom, what's up?" I replied, and right after answering I started coughing: "Cough, cough, cough..."

As a result, Lao Ma pushed the door open and came in.
