As a result, Lao Ma pushed the door open and came in.

"Xuanxuan, you're coughing so much, get up quickly, Mom will take you to the hospital." Lao Ma said concernedly as soon as she entered.

"Oh." I didn't refuse either, so as not to let Shangguan Yun worry, I couldn't keep coughing like this.

Even if it's for my own sake, I still have to consider Shangguan Yun.

I don't want Shangguan Yun to worry about me and feel distressed for me.

I got up, finished my meal, and Lao Ma took me to the hospital...

The doctor immediately put me on saline, three bottles, and finishing that would mean waiting until evening.

But for my own health, there's no other way.

"Just after I sat down, my phone rang; I leaned on one hand and fumbled out my phone from my pocket, thinking it must be Shangguan Yun calling again, but Mom is here, so I definitely can't talk..."

But when I pulled it out, I saw it was Ahao calling; after glancing at Lao Ma, I answered.

After all, Ahao and I are completely innocent, so Lao Ma couldn't suspect anything.

"Hey, Ahao." I deliberately gave Ahao's name.

"Xuanxuan, where are you? Have you gotten up? Come out to play, do you still remember you owe me a meal?" Ahao said.

"I'm in the hospital right now, getting an IV." I said somewhat awkwardly.

"Ah, you're in the hospital? Then I'll come find you—I've got nothing to do alone, I'm bored to death." As soon as Ahao heard I was in the hospital, he immediately said he'd come see me.

"No need, I have my mom with me, you don't need to come." I hurriedly refused, saying that if Shangguan Yun found out, he'd get angry again.

Sigh, I really don't understand why making a friend is so difficult.

Besides, my becoming friends with Ahao is entirely thanks to Shangguan Yun; if Shangguan Yun hadn't been saved by Ahao last time, perhaps I and Ahao wouldn't have become friends.
