Shangguan Yun first placed the instant noodles, then pulled me onto the bed, thoughtfully covered me with a blanket, and brought the noodles over for me to eat.

He said, "Let the wife have the noodles; I can just drink the soup."

After finishing the noodles it was around five o'clock; I got up, took a sip of water, then snuggled into Shangguan Yun's arms and fell asleep.

I slept through and only woke up in the late afternoon, around four; Huiqing didn't call either.

When I woke up, Shangguan Yun was already awake; he just lowered his head and quietly stared at me, so intently focused.

"Why are you staring at me first thing in the morning? It's embarrassing; I haven't even washed my face." I said, feeling a bit embarrassed by his gaze.

"Even without washing your face you're still pretty. Come give me a kiss." After saying that, Shangguan Yun moved his mouth toward me; I quickly raised my hand to cover his mouth and said, "I haven't brushed my teeth yet, no kissing."

In the end, Shangguan Yun refused to give in, insisting on kissing me; his strength was far greater than mine, and I ultimately lost.

After we had enough fun, Shangguan Yun got up first, put on his clothes and went into the bathroom; meanwhile I took the chance while he was dressing to take off my pajamas, changed into fresh sleepwear, and then slipped into the bathroom as well.

When I entered, Shangguan Yun was brushing his teeth, but he had already squeezed toothpaste for me; seeing this scene, my heart warmed and filled with happiness—something no one had ever done for me before, and he was the first.

"What are you grinning about first thing in the morning? Brush your teeth." Shangguan Yun said, foam all around his mouth, the toothbrush still in his muffled speech.

I kept laughing, picked up the toothpaste he had prepared for me and the cup of water he had already poured, and began brushing my teeth. I stood beside Shangguan Yun while he washed his face; I realized his facial washing motions were so graceful and handsome, a beautiful sight—we stood there like a married couple washing up.
