After washing up, I called Huiqing, and Shangguan Yun said he would treat her to a meal; Huiqing quickly agreed on a time and came over.

After the meal, the three of us went shopping. Shangguan Yun kept holding my hand the whole way, never letting go. When we passed a pet store, I unintentionally glanced inside and saw a small dog with long white fur and big, adorable eyes; I was immediately drawn to it. I then pulled Shangguan Yun inside to have a look.

The pet store owner told us that this dog was already this big and wouldn't grow any larger; it would stay this size.

The dog is tiny, at most two or three catties. If it stayed this size, it would always be this cute, so I wanted to bring it home to keep; staying small and cute, it would surely be fun.

When we went in, Huiqing also said the dog was pretty, and I wanted to buy it, but bringing it home would definitely not be allowed by my mother; in the end, Shangguan Yun said that if I liked it, he could buy it and give it to me, then keep it at his place and look after it, so I could visit often to see the dog.

Huiqing also liked it a lot, saying she would bring her boyfriend another day to buy one, and so we took the adorable little dog home.

When we got back to Huiqing's place, I put the dog on the floor and gave it milk; it drank it up so quickly, finishing a bowl in just a few moments—so adorable.

"What should we name it?" I said while holding the puppy and playing with it, first.

"Let's just call it Little Xuanxuan." Xiao Guanyun said, covering his mouth and laughing; he was just teasing me, and of course I refused.

"Tsk, why not call it Xiao Yun?" When I mentioned Xiao Yun, the name suddenly seemed perfect for the dog, so without waiting for them to speak, I suggested, "Let's just call it Xiao Yun—what a cute name!"

"No way, that's my name! If people found out that my name was being used by a little dog, how could I still show my face? Absolutely not." Shangguan Yun strongly objected.
