1714. Chapter 1714: About Birthday Gift 3

"It's fine, it's just over five hundred bucks; if you like it, buy it— a thousand gold can't buy what you love." Shangguan Yun seemed to have made up his mind to buy it.

"Shangguan Yun, I don't want it anymore; on Taobao it's only a couple hundred, and it's also quite big. Let's just buy it on Taobao." I said while pulling Shangguan Yun.

"But the shipping fee is quite expensive, and even the fastest delivery would arrive the day after tomorrow." Shangguan Yun said with some difficulty.

"It's fine, could you have forgotten what day my birthday is?" I said, laughing again.

"It's Sunday." Shangguan Yun hadn't forgotten, after all.

I laughed again and said: "That's right, it'll arrive the day after tomorrow— what's there to be afraid of? Let's go, we'll head home and buy it on Taobao." I said while pulling Shangguan Yun out of the boutique.

But Shangguan Yun found it troublesome, yet this trouble could save a lot of money.

That 588 amount is equivalent to about six hundred, whereas on Taobao it's usually just over a hundred for the cheaper options, and a slightly pricier one is only around two hundred bucks— even adding shipping wouldn't need to be that expensive.

There's no need to waste money so wastefully.

"But what if it doesn't arrive?" Shangguan Yun was probably worrying about that.

"It's fine, if it doesn't arrive, it doesn't arrive; as long as it does arrive, that's good, and I'm not in a hurry to use it anyway. Besides, I've heard they're usually punctual and won't fail to arrive." I, however, was confident it would definitely arrive.

"But..." Shangguan Yun still had some concerns.

"All right, dear Shangguan Yun, stop with the 'buts,' okay? Let's go home and buy it now; plus I want to buy other things— you have to buy me lots and lots, and also get me some other fun stuff." I said with a smile.

"Alright, since you want to buy on Taobao, let's go buy on Taobao; in the evening, whenever you see something you like, just buy it— consider it your birthday gift." Shangguan Yun only laughed and agreed after hearing me say that.
