2435. Chapter 2435 The True Purpose 22

Hearing her say that, I stopped being polite, so I casually picked a room.

When I entered a room, I suddenly felt a bit regretful; I should have chosen one with a bathroom, so I wouldn't have to go out to use the toilet or anything like that.

But it's fine now that I'm in; otherwise Shangguan Yun's mother would start complaining that I'm being picky.

When I went in and took a look, my first impression was that this room I casually picked was very beautiful; the decor and such were clearly high-end.

As it turned out, there was a bathroom; it seems my luck is pretty good—maybe all the rooms here have bathrooms.

But what on earth is Shangguan Yun's mother bringing me here for?

Could it just be to show off how rich they are, then use these material things to remind me that I'm utterly unworthy of Shangguan Yun?

I think Shangguan Yun's mother probably isn't that bored.

But if that's not the case, then what exactly is Shangguan Yun's mother after?

If she wanted to trap me somewhere, shouldn't she have put me in such a nice room?

And Shangguan Yun's mother never told me what her real purpose was in deceiving me and bringing me here.

Thinking back, Shangguan Yun's mother had originally told me she wanted to meet to talk about Shangguan Yun.

Could Shangguan Yun's mother be intending to bring me here, then also call Shangguan Yun over, so that we two could have some private time and make him feel moved?

If not, why would Shangguan Yun's mother bring me to such a nice place?

But it seems Shangguan Yun's mother isn't that kind-hearted.

Just now, after Shangguan Yun argued with his mother, the look in Shangguan Yun's mother's eyes seemed as if she wanted to swallow me whole.
