2436. Chapter 2436 The True Purpose 23

Just now, after Shangguan Yun argued with his mother, Shangguan Yun's mother looked at me as if she wanted to eat me.

She hates me so much; could she possibly be so kind?

Moreover, she is constantly thinking about Shangguan Yun being together with Gu Han Yu.

Lying in bed, tossing and turning, I just couldn't fall asleep.

Looking at the sky outside, the moonlight is so gentle, the stars are so bright.

But my heart is so gloomy.

Suddenly, my phone's ring shattered that lonely night.

When I heard the phone ring, my heart gave a heavy twitch.

I thought it must be Lao Ma calling to ask where I am or something like that.

After all, I have a history with Shangguan Yun.

So, I picked up the phone with a slightly trembling hand, and it turned out not to be Lao Ma's.

Although it wasn't Lao Ma's, this number and name belonged to another person who made my heart flutter.

That was Shangguan Yun.

I hurriedly answered the phone and said, "Shangguan Yun..."

"Xuanxuan, I didn't expect your call to go through; I thought your phone couldn't get through either, so I never called." Upon hearing my voice, Shangguan Yun obviously said, somewhat startled.

I also find it strange that your mother didn't take my phone away, but instead let me keep it beside her; I really don't know what she means. I said somewhat excitedly.

In this situation, I realized I was also a bit foolish; otherwise, why, knowing my phone was still with me, would I not call Shangguan Yun?

"Honey, where are you now? I'll come find you; quickly tell me where you are." Shangguan Yun said to me, very excited and enthusiastic.
