2437. Chapter 2437: True Purpose 24

"Honey, where are you now? I'm coming to find you, tell me quickly, where are you?" Shangguan Yun said to me, very excited and thrilled.

"Where am I? I just don't know where I am. As soon as I finished eating, I went out with your mom, but your mom kept driving, kept driving, and we only just arrived not long ago. I really don't know where this is. Moreover, back then it was dark outside, you know, and I'm directionally challenged." I said, somewhat afraid.

"You don't know where? How long have you been driving?" Shangguan Yun asked again.

"I don't know either; I only know that we've been driving for a long, long time—at least four or five hours—and it's almost twelve now. Shangguan Yun, I'm so scared, what should I do?" I'm really terrified.

"Honey, don't be afraid, it'll be fine. I won't let anything happen to you. I've already had many people look for you, and I've also called my dad back; he said he'll fly back tomorrow morning. So don't worry, you don't need to be afraid." Shangguan Yun comforted me.

I feel like this situation is getting more and more complicated, how did it become so complicated?

I just wanted to have a simple romance; why drag in so many things, why did so many things happen?

Tingting's side hasn't been resolved yet, and now I'm making Shangguan Yun worry as well.

Moreover, looking at Shangguan Yun's mom like this, I really don't know if I'll ever be able to see Shangguan Yun and my family again; I'm really, really scared.

"Shangguan Yun..." I called out, feeling somewhat sad.

"Honey, it'll be okay, don't worry, it will definitely be fine, it will be fine. Tell me, where are you staying now?" Shangguan Yun coaxed me gently.

"I don't know what place this is either; I only know that this area is all villas, and they look very luxurious. Likewise, the place where I'm staying is also nicely decorated and luxurious." I seemed to be speaking incoherently.

Aren't villas supposed to be luxurious?
